Zero I was a low brass too. Trumpet before that, then Euphonium and Baritone, and marching versions. So basically, "Low Brass Kicks Ass" and my band director was a Trombonist. so basically "The Instrument of the Gods." Yep.... LOL
+Zero not to troll but..idk strings do more for me, reach deeper into the ligaments. soothe the pain of the savage beast within. Maybe horns are like the instruments of Kings and Nephilim.Whereas strings are of the instruments of Queens and Seraphim. Well just leave the gods out of it by saying the play whatever it/they want..especially the weather...drums maybe. Drums seem more particularly human though..yeh everybody plays drums...especially when bored..so again , idk.
You're now a huge hit with my 4 year old daughter. She had me sing the lyrics of Frozen while I ran your trombone arrangement. I'm a horrible singer but, it didn't matter to her. She loved it!
Hey Chris, THANK YOU for showing kids, especially, that classical instruments can play ANYTHING, not just notes on old paper. You sound incredible, and it's a lot of fun to listen to. Thanks!
I was referring to the higher notes, actually. But you're right, the rhythm is not very difficult, but the 4th octave Eb was always problematic for me, especially since I only have an f attatchment trigger trombone.
As a fellow trombone player and a Frozen lover... BRAVO! You are very talented! And your horns have a great tone too. You make them sing! I know that going from the pedal tones in the bass up to the really high notes is difficult. Half the time, I can't hit the extremes. Beautiful!
Whoa whoa whoa... Wait a second... At 1:54 ish, does one of the background parts (the you farthest left) play a part of "don't stop believing"? Cause that just boosted your awesomelyness like 10 fold!
AMAZING! What a gift this young man has. It was pure joy listening to all of his arrangements. I can't to hear more! Thank you for sharing with us all.....
Disney has always done a good job of bringing instrumental music to children. You sir have just taken one step farther! I am not ashamed to admit I ripped this and several of your other songs for my kids to enjoy in the car. We look forward to your CD release. On a side note; It is was 25 years ago I heard Urbie Green at the DWJF and knew I wanted to play trombone. A lifetime later hearing you made me dust my horn off. Thank you for that.
Dang. Been clean for years, then this guy comes along and makes me want to pick up my old trombone and start playing again. Fantastic playing, man. Been listening to you at the office all day.
Mate your tone, especially in the fast moving sequences, are just great. They have a very clear resonance. I know it's what most trombonists know, your high notes and low notes need to sound as polished as each other, but your really have that. I hope to be listening to more of your stuff.
I'm in highschool, and literally all of the trombones in my section were talking about how trombone sounds horrible and they wished they chose another instrument. I referred them to this channel. Those that watched love the trombone again.
***** Dang I almost wanted to correct you by saying baritone but then I checked the wiki...... or if you play the brass valved baritone then i'll correct you.
I'm not criticizing his playing at all, seeing as he is an outstanding player, but playing fast and high does not qualify as having "everything." There are also tone, musicality, tempo-keeping, low range, and countless other things to take into account, all of which Christopher Bill does outstandingly well.
Awesome, makes me want to go back and grab my ol trombone and play again. I never was anywhere as good as you are but the fact that you can do what you do on a trombone in inspiring!! Thank you.
This is a magnificent triumph of beautiful music, beautifully arranged, and beautifully performed on beautiful instruments! The sad part is that hearing this wonderful performance reminds me of the reasons that I hung up my King 2B and 3B Silver Sonics a number of years ago. So much work and native talent is required to reach anywhere near that level of capability, and an equal amount, constantly, to stay there!
You are forgetting Euphoniums. Tubas, Euphoniums, THEN trombones. trombones arent even needed tbh, unless you specifically want the 'whining' sound of a trombone. their sound fits perfectly with jazz band, but everywhere else Euphoniums are the optimal choice.
Jason Klein They are completely diffrent from trombones. 1st off trombones are in tenor and euphoniums are in baritone. Eu[hpniums are whinier than trombones, a ton of times trombones are wanted becuase of their mellower, better sound and the glissando ability where as no other instrument can glissando.
After seeing this, I'm starting to regret choosing Tuba over Trombone. I love the deep sound that the Tuba has, but it can't compare to what I just saw!
Sir, i'm 14 years old, and cant even hit some of the high notes you're playing, even on trumpet, i am honored to have watched your video, and plan to follow your footsteps, both in playing trumpet and trombone.
OMG. No words. That was beautiful! I've never heard a prettier sound come from I trombone! (I play trumpet. That sounded like a trumpet but not complaint) THAT WAS SO PRETTEYYY!!! 👌👌👏👏👏
You most defiantly have inspired me. The way you can play each of the different types with no problem is my wildest dream. I really hope to play and own each one of those trombone.
Eric Lozaga Actually they're not. Each one has a different feel to it, another requires more/stronger air and many other things. Source: I'm a trombonist myself.
Zero yes. I play trombone too. It doesn't matter what kind you play, the fundamental is still the same. You play them the same. It's all technique. You breathe the same, you vibrate your lips the same, you slide the same. Some trombones deal with different ranges, but how you play them are the same. Yes, some horns have more feedback, some are large bore and some small.. some have triggers or two.., some are tenor or bass.. but the technique and fundamentals of playing a trombone doesn't change.
Eli Devos You are going at this the wrong way, people can critic a thing if they know what they are talking about not because they can do better or not.
That was awesome, I've been playing this on trumpet and you are playing it in the same key as what I play it. I thought while I was listening to this that it sounded like the same key and so I played along with you. Thanks for the fun. Although there are several people doing covers of this song they are not all played in the same key.
When I listened that wonder of nature I remember the words of the master Mercury: "Sends shivers down my spine..." This is exactly how i felt. You're and artist, Christopher!
as a wood-wind musician and a piano player man i have to admit that was awesome i also didn't think the bone could have pulled it off but man that was excellent
This is scary but cool! You are so good. I play the flute in band. I'm in 8th grade right now, but everyone in my band class wants to let you know that you are fantastic. We only got to see the Happy one with your trombone loop.
Okay so I'm a flutist. I played in a band once with a trombonist who said "The Trombone is the Voice of God." At the time I was like "Pfft." Maybe he was onto something. Sharing this with my grandson, helping him choose an instrument. :)
Sweet blend and balance, I really love how you arranged this tune. Also, nice job on that high Eb!
And holy crap those 16ths
ikr
insaneintherainmusic he did those 16th so good
i know I'm kinda off topic but do anybody know a good place to stream new tv shows online ?
@Oliver Maximo try flixzone. You can find it on google =)
@Oliver Maximo I use flixzone. You can find it on google :)
The Trombone, the instrument of the Gods. ----My Music teacher
Zero I was a low brass too. Trumpet before that, then Euphonium and Baritone, and marching versions. So basically, "Low Brass Kicks Ass" and my band director was a Trombonist. so basically "The Instrument of the Gods." Yep.... LOL
The fact that you have lelouch as your thumbnail makes your comment that much more dramatic when reading it! lol
Exactly; my music teacher is teaching me to play the trombone
+Zero Euphonium is the most beautiful instrument.
+Zero not to troll but..idk strings do more for me, reach deeper into the ligaments. soothe the pain of the savage beast within. As a trombone player, I never get tired of hearing this guy's talent. And constantly wonder how he is able to do these amazing videos.
Hey Chris,
THANK YOU for showing kids, especially, that classical instruments can play ANYTHING, not just notes on old paper. You sound incredible, and it's a lot of fun to listen to.
Thanks!
Actually the Trombone is used in Jazz/Funk/Soul as much as Classical music.
This guy makes a trombone sound like a trumpet. Like holy shit
theBlue123498 yeah, or its a really sharp trombone
Nscout9 well, i play trumpet so i dont really pay attention to a tuned trombone
Ya that's kinda the point you don't want to just hear slide the hole time it sounds bad
im so jelly
it has different type of trombone
Was not expecting this to be as amazing as it is. Good stuff
well he is a good ass player so what did you expect
First time Ive ever seen him so wasnt expecting that much
ok I under stand but still he is a good player
ATA1289 b
This just wants me to go in the other room, get my trombone and try this.
Way harder than it looks. I know, I've tried.
Omid Nouripour Aside from the higher notes this was simple to learn
Wow so many likes on this one comment.
I was referring to the higher notes, actually. But you're right, the rhythm is not very difficult, but the 4th octave Eb was always problematic for me, especially since I only have an f attatchment trigger trombone.
Is it hard Omid Nouripour?
Love how you incorporated Don't Stop Believing into this piece. Awesome job as always!
:D

+supersonic5432 How did he do that?

OH MY GOSH IT DID!!!!!!
Wow it do
My guy I didn’t notice that 😅😂😂😂
I'm lovin' the 2nd trombone's "Don't Stop Believin'" quote in the second chorus. Keep up the good work Chris!
AMAZING! What a gift this young man has. It was pure joy listening to all of his arrangements. I can't to hear more! Thank you for sharing with us all.....
would be scary to see this in 3D :D
duck!
and run!
I thought this wouldn't be as emotional as the real song but you proved me wrong once again. You deserve a lot of respect
This is amazing !
I love the way you popularize trombone which is such a great instrument !
Keep it up !! :D
Dang. Been clean for years, then this guy comes along and makes me want to pick up my old trombone and start playing again. Fantastic playing, man. Been listening to you at the office all day.
Listening to this just makes me want to watch the whole movie over again.
Wow. He successfully combined two if my favourite things. Trombone and frozen!! A job well done!!!!!!
The only version of this song I like. Excellent!
Agreed!
It's so good my band director decided to put this as video of the week!!
it's so high it sounds like a trumpet! i would have passed out.
I'm a trombone player and I can't even hit that high... He must practice like hours and hours a day.
Nick Jones Productions Use more upper lip, less bottom. It's easy once you get the hang of playing like that.
I've been doing just that for the past few weeks, I can get as high as a Bb Concert scale 2 octaves.
Nick Jones Productions If you practice more, you can get to the next octave like I have. Practice is key.
I have little time to practice, however when I have time, I always incorporate practice on partials to try and achieve the higher range.
Man, you were born to arrange.... and play of course - fantastic version - keep posting!
I play the trombone and I was going to switch to trumpet but this guy inspired me to stay on trombone thank you so much.
Omg lucky you, carry on with playing, i play trombone too good luck
Omg I was thinking the exact thing XD
lol
Yaye! Great choice. (Biased.)
Can i ask why?, its too hard ? I want to learn but just for hobby
Mate your tone, especially in the fast moving sequences, are just great. They have a very clear resonance. I know it's what most trombonists know, your high notes and low notes need to sound as polished as each other, but your really have that. I hope to be listening to more of your stuff.

This piece really makes me appreciate the effort and time needed to put into compositions like this. You play like a pro. Keep up the great work :)
WOW!! Never thought a trombone could be so sweet *_* BRAVO!!!! :D
Cinzix Me too!
+Cinzix just listen to me play it lol
+Cinzix the trombone in my band *im only 5thgrade*, no offense to him, he slightly sounds like a fart. its tremendously hilarious, though.... :)
The intonation is awesome and I love that you got the keyboard/marimba break at the bridge! That's incredible...
I know it just won't happen.
But I keep cringing when the slides get too close.
+Terry O'Brien o my gosh now that you mention it...
Terry O'Brien Bet you can't do any better 😒
bugleboy matt Bet you can't do any BETTER! 😂
Your dumb xD
This is the best I have ever heard a trombone player play !
Trombones aren't supposed to be trumpets, but I'm not complaining.
The more you know!
No, they're not. I get very upset when people call them such, being a trombone player myself and having run into this problem several times.
***** Dang I almost wanted to correct you by saying baritone but then I checked the wiki...... or if you play the brass valved baritone then i'll correct you.
***** all i know is the "bone" part came from it being made of bone at first, but i got that from brother so dont be mad if im wrong
***** yeah Tuba! *raises hand for high five*
Ugh every time I listen to trombone I love the fact I play trombone more and more. Awesomeness! :)
FINALLY SOME APPRECIATION FOR TROMBONES!!!
IM A TROMBONE PLAYER IM IN THE 9TH GRADE AND IVE BEEN PLAYING FOR 6 YEARS ALL I HAVE TO SAY IS THAT WAS THE BEST THING I HAVE EVERR HEARD!!!!!
Dayum... fast and high, he's got everything!
I'm not criticizing his playing at all, seeing as he is an outstanding player, but playing fast and high does not qualify as having "everything." There are also tone, musicality, tempo-keeping, low range, and countless other things to take into account, all of which Christopher Bill does outstandingly well.
Davis Clark Amen, good sir xD
Wow, just simply amazing. I play trumpet, and I've played Let It Go and to hear those notes through a trombone is just... AMAZING.
OMG HOW????????????????????? JUST TOO GOOD
Awesome, makes me want to go back and grab my ol trombone and play again. I never was anywhere as good as you are but the fact that you can do what you do on a trombone in inspiring!! Thank you.
Great Playing
I like the "Don't Stop Believing" Journey quote in the 2nd trombone part :).... Great job with this!
I hate Frozen, but I love how you played this...You inspire me to become a better trombonist...Only if I was actually good at it.. DX
Ashton Looney ikr
This is one of the best music videos I have ever seen! He is the greatest trombone player I've ever seen! keep working man :D
2:22 woo!
I agree
I have a yes for sale for negative two thousand dollars if you want to buy it
This is a magnificent triumph of beautiful music, beautifully arranged, and beautifully performed on beautiful instruments! thxs for geting some trombones some respect with out trombones the whole band will be off key and timeing.Trombones are the base of the sound pymid
Yup except for the tubas
Trenton Balliger ye
You are forgetting Euphoniums. Tubas, Euphoniums, THEN trombones. trombones arent even needed tbh, unless you specifically want the 'whining' sound of a trombone. their sound fits perfectly with jazz band, but everywhere else Euphoniums are the optimal choice.

I'm pretty sure you just outplayed my entire marching band trombone section. Just amazing!
WAIT A SECOND... How can there be 4 of the same guys!!!
xxBlack ninja69 It's magic. RUclips partners have magical powers, didn't you know that? ;)
The Trombone is one of the best Instruments. I play it since 5 years 👍🏻💪🇦🇹
What are the corresponding trombones? Like I know the one to the left is the bass trombone, but what about the other 3?
Tenors and alto
domi ask me ah ma
What?
1 is The Melody
1 is the lower harmony
And the other is the higher harmony
From left to right: Symphonic Tenor trombone, Jazz or straight tenor trombone, symphonic tenor trombone, bass trombone.
The amount of consistency you can keep those high Eb's through the entire tune is astounding
Can you do "Do you want to build a snowman ?" pleeeease ? :D
I absolutely love it...My daughter would love to hear you play this and see you play at the same time..Great Job Christopher
After seeing this, I'm starting to regret choosing Tuba over Trombone. I love the deep sound that the Tuba has, but it can't compare to what I just saw!
I play both ain't nothing wrong with that! Trombones a lot more fun for jazz especially improv.
dude i play both! its a great combo!!! trust me
Trombone can play deep notes like a tuba, the bass tenor and contrabass trombones but regular ones can play very deep as well
You can play this with a tuba euphonium quartet too, if you have good enough chops :P ps check out Tennessee Tech Tuba Ensemble....
I didn't hear it at first, but I was checking out your score and found the little Don't Stop Believing part you put in there. Very nicely done. :P
Wired way of holding your slide I hold mine by having my index , middle , and ring in a row
It's not that weird. I hold the slide pretty much the same way he does. It's pretty comfortable, too. Very relaxed.
Do you sound better than he does?
Sir, i'm 14 years old, and cant even hit some of the high notes you're playing, even on trumpet, i am honored to have watched your video, and plan to follow your footsteps, both in playing trumpet and trombone.
Aren't you like 20 now
@@spencerparker8406 yes. I am an electrician’s apprentice.
@@aric420x8 I guess I should say: Congratulations
Cynthia Bueche can't trombone do such beautiful things if the wielder is good?
hahaha I thought you wrote 'if the welder is good' - kind of true too - if it's not welded together well you won't be sounding beautiful :p
EXACTLY John A Gosling YOU'RE A FUCKING GENIUS XD! lol i knew what you meant
From an old hack trombonist - you're fantastic man! My 11 year old daughter loves this one, too. :) Keep up the great work.
Oll my Godddddddd this is crazy awesome! People who agree press thumbs up!!
OMG. No words. That was beautiful! I've never heard a prettier sound come from I trombone! (I play trumpet. That sounded like a trumpet but not complaint) THAT WAS SO PRETTEYYY!!! 👌👌👏👏👏
好厲害我崇拜他們
中文欸嚇我一跳
i play trombone at school and started out with trumpet and didn't like the feeling so I switched and I am a proud trombone player!
It's just me or they all the same person
You most defiantly have inspired me. The way you can play each of the different types with no problem is my wildest dream. I really hope to play and own each one of those trombone.
Trombones are trombones. You play them the same.
Eric Lozaga Actually they're not. Each one has a different feel to it, another requires more/stronger air and many other things. Source: I'm a trombonist myself.

The first 10 seconds of this song are awesome, the rest is just terrible.
Idk what video ur watching
MrAwesome Yes you do but you just follow the crowd that's why you actually like this song
Some part are a bit off key but overall isn't that bad.
let's see if you can do this than :)
Eli Devos You are going at this the wrong way, people can critic a thing if they know what they are talking about not because they can do better or not.
aw i love this song... now much more played by you with your magic in trombone!!! awesome!!!
In addition to being such a great player you arranging is over the top. Amazing performance as usual...
I love how you incorporated Don't Stop Believing into that. You continue to amaze and inspire me. Awesome job man!
Love your tone Chris! It's a real treat to listen to you play.
That was awesome, I've been playing this on trumpet and you are playing it in the same key as what I play it. I thought while I was listening to this that it sounded like the same key and so I played along with you. Thanks for the fun. Although there are several people doing covers of this song they are not all played in the same key.
This is my favorite song from the movie! And I love how you play it! I'm also a trombone player, I wish I could learn this some day!
Very cool arrangement and such an awesome player! Love your stuff and can't wait to see / hear what you have planned next!
beautifully done , 0:57- (the first let it go) was amazing , loving hearing you play , great talent , #LowBrass
This is awesome!!!!!! Great arrangement, and GREAT trombone sound!!!!

You're and artist, Christopher!
Your arrangement is a whole music lesson to learn!
WHAT A WONDERFUL PIECE OF ART, AND NICE MUSIC THEME!

This was really well done. It's stuff like this that leaves me missing the Trombone
Wow, that's really good trombone playing. Congrats!
My Old music teacher recommended I look you up, so I did. I am soo glad I did. I love the Trombone Now.
A touch of genius here. Not just the mix, but the quality of playing - trombones are tough instruments to play. I know.
Your tone and intonation makes me jealous!
it gave me goosebumps o.o you made this song different... I don't know, it's more smooth and sweet...
Oh my gosh, Don't Stop Believing in the background. Nice!!
Okay so I'm a flutist. I played in a band once with a trombonist who said "The Trombone is the Voice of God." At the time I was like "Pfft." Maybe he was onto something. Sharing this with my grandson, helping him choose an instrument. :)

man you are so good, keep it up! i look forward to all of your videos
I'm more impressed by the range he play and he still manages to keep a good tone at the same time. I'm jealous
