"ravis Victor Alexander (July 28, 1977 - June 4, 2008) was an American salesman who was murdered by his ex-girlfriend, Jodi Ann Arias (born July 9, 1980), in his house in Mesa, Arizona. Arias was convicted of first-degree murder on May 8, 2013, and sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole on April 13, 2015.
At the time of the murder, Alexander sustained 27 stab wounds, a slit throat and a single gunshot wound to the forehead. Arias testified that she killed him in self-defense, but nevertheless she was convicted by the jury of first-degree murder. " -wikipedia

Omg. This girl is psycho. He found out too late. Its best sometimes to just stay single.
He FAAFO'd
.I have seen the autopsy photos and what she did to Travis proves to me that she's a psychopath..
Agree.... they are horrifying ...😢
I knew she shot him first and after he realized what happened, he did go after her but he was too weak/wounded and she ran and got the knife.
Poor Travis, sucks that he met that evil narcissistic witch! The Jodi Arias trial is actually what got me into trials. 💞
I agree!!! His family. His sisters and brothers were very hurt and had to deal with that monster !
@@truecrimelover61 Juan Martinez 🙏🙏🙏
I agree. It broke my heart what Travis Alexander went through. I learned about RUclips livestreams from Gray and it’s why I’m here as much as I can be! Also. Gray has been phenomenal and covers so many cases ❤️ it’s a Godsend. I’m very lucky to have run across Gray Hughes and you guys
@@truecrimelover61 I read Juan Martinez book and it’s very interesting! It tells a lot about what happened
@@lankytor6396 So good to see you! It's been a little while 💞 Glad you're back! 💞
Gray, would love a walk around simulation of the cielo drive crime scene
I found you during the Jodi Arias era. Good memories ! I loved your content. Revisiting this case is much appreciated.
This is a great time for the UK Gray. (Start time was 18.00 🇬🇧) *Thank you!*
She’s nuts
I looked recently and Jodi is smiling in prison. It’s so horrible!! She completely was nuts and I’m glad she’s locked up.
I watched the movie they made, the girl in the movie was gorgeous. I don't see the infatuation here with Jody.. she, imo,is nothing special I mean she's special* all right, but not in a good way😮..
Amazing work in this case! I like going to Gray's playlist of videos and watching all this footage again and again. 🔥
This is wonderful work. Always love revisiting this case. What a monster!
This woman is terrifying! Thanks for your excellent work explaining the evidence, Gray.
The gunshot first makes sense. She shot him, he didn’t immediately die, and she went in to overkill mode. Logic would say that she probably would have gone gun first, and only switched to the knife when he didn’t immediately die.
Lol watch the trial bro
I'm playing catch up, missed this one while you were away for a couple of days. Several years ago, I remember watching true crime shows and movies on TV regarding this case. Crazy! Crazy! Excellent job on this!
These crime scene simulations are so disturbingly interesting! Thanks for sharing this past crazy case!
Even though this case is 2 million crime years old, i still love your coverage of it!
Literally the only thing that i found surprising was when you said the objection shouldn't have been sustained lol. There is so much info that is left out of trials due to motions and then removed through objections where you know it's true and it's a fact but the pretrial stuff limits it or its been removed... In this scenario, objection speculation, was a proper objection and the judge was right to sustain it. However, just bc you tell a jury to ignore it, the cats out of the bag and you can't unhear so in that regard it was worth trying to sneak in bc the jury heard it anyways. The guy asking questions should've rephrased though so that this wasn't asked in the form of speculation and could be answered, even if it was with "i don't remember".
It sucks that jury's rarely, if ever, get the entire story from either side bc IMO that creates a bias. If they're allowing in facts they should allow them all in, not just some. If that requires calling a different expert to testify about it in order to get it in then they should. I feel like a lot of the ppl who have been exonerated wouldn't have been convicted in the first place had they been able to tell their full side, similarly, i think a lot of people have walked bc the judge limited info that was allowed.
Example, with the Natalia Grace trial against her adoptive dad, the judge wouldn't allow any info about her age to be brought into it, the jury didn't know the dad and mom had her age changed from being born in 2003 to bring born in 1989! Had the jury known this, they would've at least had all the info and been able to better decide. The court handicapped the prosecutor!
Second example, Barry Morphew, everyone and their dog is pretty sure he did it, but bc the prosecutor missed a deadline they were sanctioned by not being allowed to put in a TON of fact based evidence, so instead of trying him, they withdrew the charges knowing they would have lost. At least now, that can refile at anytime and hopefully get a judge that doesn't try to dismiss facts from being heard. The victims shouldn't be punished bc of a prosecutor or because the info appears biased out of the gate.
Sorry for the rant Gray! The courts often suck when it comes to what they allow in and what they don't. The reality is if it's part of the case or investigation it should be allowed bc it was part of discovery, a fair trial is only fair if esp side gets to present what they can from the discovery.
The Jodi Arias case was beyond disgusting bc she literally got to stand there and try and sell freaking t-shirts after she was convicted and she was using Travis death as a way to play the victim even after convicted! The court imo should've shut that part down!
I think Gray did an outstanding job on Judy Arias / Travis Alexander case. If you have not yet seen other Arias case materials from Gray, then you are in for a treat.
He was done with her crazy ass so she killed him
I agree.
I agree too. I think it was a case of "if I can't have him, no-one else will" 🕊️
Yes. Thank you Gray. You always have the best shows. Love you Freaks!!!
Gray spot-on about everything in this case. Gunshot first, so much covered up & changed. Thanks for your continued devotion to logic and clarity. 🙏🙏
Of course she remembered .
everything..she planned carefully everything..😢
Enjoyed this, Gray. ❤
Fascinating. What is intriguing about the clip of her talking about him getting shot in the shower is her demeanor. In all the other interrogation footage, it is clear that she’s lying. In this, she seems completely different - like she’s finally able to tell someone about what happened to him and how he responded, (except that it was she who pulled the trigger and not some intruder). It also answers the question about why she would go to the trouble of brining a gun but not use it until after stabbing and slitting his throat. If she did use it first, but it didn’t get the job done, she would go seek other means of killing him. Fascinating and brutal.
Um gun holds more bullets, so why shoot once and run for a knife? Doesn't make sense. I don't know how she could have dragged his body when he would be clearly wet from the shower and all the blood, she would've had a hard time keeping grip. I'm six two 200 pounds and even I would have had a hard time moving him.
Holly $hit. I see it now. Wow. Great work Gray.
All these killers are control freaks - mixed with sociopathic tendencies - lethal
Thank you Gray for your amazing job. Would love to see an animation of the whole ordeal as you think it happened. Any chance you’ll work on that someday? Greetings from Switzerland!
There once was one, though it sounds from this video that he unlisted or deleted some of the old ones. It's a shame; they included a really impressive recreation of the entire crime. (I believe even showing that she had the time to run downstairs, get the knife, and come back up within the timeline of the "accidental photographs."
great analysis!
Gray!! Gunshot first I agree! Kevin Horn changed his story. This is where I met Gray Hughes Investigates and Gray is the best!
Me too Lanky! I subbed to GHI back in the days of Jodi Arias. (Albeit with a different account) 🕊️
Yes same here!!!
No the gunshot was one of last assaults
@@aliciakraynik7674 I honestly believe that the gunshot was first. If you think about it, I don’t think Jodi wanted to be there very long. After the shooting failed I believe she scrambled and got the knife. It was a very small caliber pistol. If you remember the testimony from the trial, it changed. My thoughts are why would she waste time and stabbing him I think was her last resort.
It was a very low caliber pistol which was never found. Her grandparents had the same type of pistol stolen. What a coincidence
I remember her making that mistake of running down the hallway twice also. I thought she ran to get the knife or ran to stop him from exiting the bedroom. I totally agreed with your theory Gray😊 Great Work .
Gun first theory side by side with the coroner's report. That's the video that made me a fan of you Gray!! Spot on
If I walk outside and everything is wet then I do not need someone to tell me that it has rained while I was inside.
Crazy, taking a picture
I thought the shot in the head was last, because it didn't bleed, because he was already dead my that time?
I wonder if the gun jammed, and that's why she only shot Travis once. Or did she fear neighbors responding to more gunfire? Or did she plan all along to use both weapons? Rhetorically of course.
I think it's possible that she only brought one bullet. It's always seemed to me that she planned to stage it as a suicide (she laid some weird breadcrumbs about him being depressed, etc.), but wasn't able to when everything went sideways. I can absolutely see her thinking of it primarily as bringing a prop, and so only loaded the gun with one bullet.
I've always agreed with Gray that the 'ninja' story contains a lot of truth about what happened in the bathroom, and it's telling to me that she says they shot him and he was still alive, not that they shot him and the gun jammed, but he was still alive. Why wouldn't the ninjas just shoot him again if they had the bullets? I actually think that if her concern was the sound of two gunshots, she would've woven that into the weird conversation between the ninjas, who she had do a lot of 'villain monologuing.'
@@jacksyoutubechannel4045 Appreciate your response. Yes, it could very well be her original intent was as a staged suicide, and as you say, that was before everything went sideways. And staged in the shower would help account for no gun residue on his hand?
This is an interesting take. You have a good voice for narration. My only constructive criticism is to take the time to not make guesses about how many days she was on trial or how many jurors voted for the death penalty, for example.
Nuts .Absolutely insane.
Damn, you got talent dude. Very nice.
I think Juan did his best with this creep but he should have slowed down and let her ridiculous answers speak for themselves and so that he could think about her response...because there are so many times that he asks another question before listening to the lie she just told. It's annoying.
Didn't matter. She was still convicted
Thank goodness she will never ever get out of prison she tried too but she was denied what she did to this man was offle just move forward she could have done that
Good job! I am very surprised (in a good way) that she was found guilty after all…
Surprised?
Hiya ..... Just curious as to why are you surprised? There's so much evidence against her .... Or did you feel the Jury might believe (her 3rd version of events), her "self defense" story?
@@whitedove1326 because the murderer happened to be a woman and usualy jurors have the propensity to give credit to the alleged domestic violence. This case fully proved that men could easily be victims of domestic violence as well. So glad she’s where she belongs, behind bars
@@ttx3 Thank you for replying ttx3.
Ahhh, ok, I see where you're coming from. Yes, fortunately the Jury convicted her & she's definitely where she needs to be! 🤗
😢😢She’s really sick!!
Didn't they find him in the shower so why did she shoot him in the shower came back ok he got up and went to sink she went berserk like you said dragged him down hallway then finished him on the carpet then what she dragged him back to the shower and left him there seems unnecessary like she could have went bersek at sink dragged him to shower then finished him there and left him there why did she dragged him down hallway for shed have to bring him back unless there were two bathrooms and she left him in the other one lol I agree crazy psycho people be saying she's beautiful or really hot heard that a lot at most I could say she's pretty could see what dude saw in her but nope no matter how pretty she is she acting nutty like she was before his friends and him knew if something happened to him it was her she must have been really good cause shoot even then nope its not worth dying over lol
She testified she was messing with tbe timer on the camera. These shots are from a timer that was activated...i believe
