Jennifer Soto and Madeline Soto were both groomed by a monster. Stephan Sterns used all the techniques that predators use to insinuate himself as a trusted member of the family.

Monsters don’t live under beds. They’re welcomed in the front door. Over 70% of victims know the perp. My stepdad said I’d be taken away from my 3 younger siblings (which were his kids) if I said a word. I finally spoke when I caught him watching my 4 year younger sister. I could fight him off but I didn’t think she could. That’s what made me finally tell on the hell he put me through. I was believed and it got us all safe and away from him

He played good cop to Mom’s bad cop, let Maddie stay up late for gaming, and called himself StepDad for more than half of Maddie’s life. Jenn is “little yellow school bus” special, not long on self-esteem, and being a single parent is hard under the best circumstances. Been there! Throw in adolescence and working; somebody offering help is welcomed when you’re clueless to their alternate personalities. A simpleton, too many meds all around, shock, denial, guilt… Jenn didn’t have anything to do with Maddie’s death. I wasn’t happy she kept saying “the body” over and over again in the 3/1 police interview, which was disturbing, but I’m assuming there’s psychological distancing there as a survival tactic?

Missing 1 day of her maintenance medication would not make her feel different. That’s a flat out lie. With medications like Geodon, Zypreka, Zoloft and most antidepressants and antipsychotics they take several weeks to feel the effects, and it would take more than missing 1 day of medication to feel “off”.
She had to be up that morning anyway to go have blood work done and then she was off until Wednesday, so essentially she had SS “come help” so she could get an extra hour of sleep Monday morning? It doesn’t make sense. Maddie had been staying with grandma, but Jenn had her come home to spend time with her but she sent her to bed almost as soon as she got home and then had someone else take her to school the next morning, why? Why not just have her stay with grandma for 1 more night and just pick her up Monday after school?

Considering her mental issues she , perhaps wasn’t capable of raising a child. She sent Maddie and Stephan to bed many times. This woman should at least be charged with neglect. She didn’t even bother coming to her own daughter’s birthday party. And, after seeing the evidence on his phone she tells him he needs a lawyer!
I have no sympathy for her.

    I AM OUTRAGED!
Making excuses for a pis poor mother just looking for a man to fill that hole in her sole and clearly bullshitting that investigator to garner his sympathy is an insult to us.

If detectives had anything on her, she would be in jail. I realize people won't want to accept this but it's the reality

The detective literally said she wasn't involved, nor aware but people like yourself just keep at it. It's kinda funny actually, in addition to delusional

@@beanj580I knew the first time I just watched that brutal interview with Jenn on the blue loveseat. She didn’t know. Stephan had an easy target with Jenn and my heart breaks for her. People can be so crule.

bean j580. This time Im not that sure. She was given direvetive immunity not full immunity. A lot of what the DA decidea will will depend one whether or not they have a public who is not sympathetic toward her and third is they would never evwn consider a case until well after Stephan's conviction.
      My history informed me well.
