ஈரோடு மாவட்டம் பெருந்துறையை சுற்றி 20-25 திருமண மண்டபங்கள் உள்ளன. அதில் ஒன்றில் கூட அருந்ததியர் சாதியினர்களுக்கு திருமணத்திற்கு கொடுப்பதில்லை. காரணம் கேட்டால், "நீங்கள் கீழ் ஜாதி" என்று சொல்கிறார்கள்.
ஜாதிகள் இப்போது எல்லாம் இல்லை யாரும் பார்ப்பது இல்லை என்று சொல்பவர்களா நீங்கள்.. நேரில் வந்தால் நிரூபிக்கப்படும்..

Sc oda obc ku adhigam reservation irukunaa, obc population is much more than sc population, adhanaala dhaan. Reservation system has to be changed in a way that those who already got the fruits of it should not be given again for some generations, otherwise a seperate group inside the sc/obc will develop that will get all the fruits of it for the all the come generations to come and most of the sc/obc will never improve. Economic status based reservation is the true solution. Oppressed caste will unquestionably suffer from economic inequality as well. Solving this inequality will solve the social status. Income will change the social status. Money does not know caste. That is why temple accepts donation from anyone irrespective of caste.

Brother, I do not know if the stats you mentioned are 100 percent correct brother!! I m a medico under bc category, while I joined my clg my cutoff in college was 198.5 while sc cutoff was 192. My friend who was an OC, he wasn't from any well to do family, he got 197 and couldn't secure any government college seats. OC cutoff was 199.25 or something, can you imagine how hard is to get 199? It's basically like you can just score 2 less marks than the full score!! He wasn't able to get into any private medical colleges either since he wasn't rich or something! I still remember the days he kept calling me for my dad's advice for best private dental colleges to join.(edit : his father got shit ton of loan to get him into it, little did they know the future government will let ayush practicioners to perform surgery 😂)I know it's just one person's story, but don't you think they are paying just too much for the ugly things their ancestors did? I ain't saying caste oppression don't exist. I know there are brahmin run industries and corporates where a commoner can't even dream to set their legs in. What I'm saying is the reservation doesn't affect the wealthy 1 percent. It's the poor OC's that are taking all shit!! And yeah the 10 percent for economically poor OC is there now, but you know everyone can define themselves as economically poor😂 don't you think they aren't at a disadvantage by birth? (Edit : and the majority of oppression is done by BC people and yet BC enjoys much comfortable reservation! How is this a fight against oppression??)

Second, So he had the option to call you and your father and ask for advise correct? The SC/ST person would not even have known what to do after scoring that 197. Nobody is there to guide. His social circle is not even aware of it and nobody gives him the correct advise.
I am sorry that your one friend had to suffer, but imagine the number of SC/ST people suffering. I am sure the number will be really high and it would not be a equal ratio.
I am sure your friend had a head under his head and decent food. But imagine the people living in huts with no proper dress and light, who don't even eat 3 meals a day. And on top of that they have to study amidst all their social situation.
You mentioned that the BC are enjoying comfortable reservation in your last part. Yet, at the beginning you have mentioned about the cutoff required for OC and SC alone. So your problem(or your friend's problem, as it looks) is the 192 cutoff for SC. Why didn't you mention about the BC cut off? If you think BC is enjoying reservation then you should said, your friend got the cutoff reserved for BC and yet he was not able to secure the seat. But the beef seems to be only with SC cutoff and somehow 192 for SC seems to be a problem but you dint look into MBC or BC cutoff. I wonder why's that.
