Hiya needs to make sure their head sculpt looks perfect. Hands down, we all know articulation is going to SHMA . The glove is a nice addition as a pack in. However, there are a few things that concern me about it. It doesn’t look like there’s a hinge in the elbow, but the elbow is still a separate, presumably, posable part. Hopefully this doesn’t lead to warping or breakage.
Yeah, I'm betting it's just kind of touching at the hinge joint for the glove and not actually pinned in anyway together and hoping, HOPING!!! it's not a real ridged plastic for it. I'm debating on picking up the Kong now...
and another problem is you need atleast to have shm kong either gvk or gxk , for that reason i will wait until hiya reveal theirs because i assume their kong not only has the gloves but also a new mold
They did better on the Skull island Kong. I think we are in the clear here if that's what they are gonna use instead of the GvK head where the back of Kong's jaw is about to go out and dislocate from his whole head. (That's the only reason why I bought GxK kong instead of Hiya GvK kong)
@@quack9355 it’s hard to tell how they’ll proceed with Kong. Godzilla just needed a few tweaks, but Kong would have to be a completely new sculpt. Especially since they upped the articulation on the Skull Island version
@@legendscollector1321 Based on how Hiya new releases have updates, I am confident that they will be renwing the sculpt for the best of Gvk and K:SI figures like they did with their Godzilla lineups. Hiya is not SHMA who doesn't update their figures after all.
If not, I can always buy the Skar since I got the GxK Kong from theirs. I can see it will be frustrating to others though
I use Eknighys or Kappa hobby.both usuually have great pricrs. No one should BBTS for SHMA figures unless they absolutely have to
Hiya still is good Shma is showing the best but not sure let's be sure if there is no breaking parts.

I don't collect SH because they fall apart easily and are usually too small to warrant the price. But them including the beast glove makes total sense seeing they have released multiple kongs and all on the same mold so why release another for literally 1 accessory when it can be included with the main villain that most people will get. It would make all the previous Kongs useless and I think that would piss off more than the few who don't have one. Kong is the only SH i do own along with both Hiyas and I prefer the size and solid feel of Hiya but would say the body is much more accurate on SH. Still gonna wait on Hiya to see which Scar King I will get and if Hiya make a new mold for Kong with glove that is the way
