You didn't quite get it right Dan . They recorded the first 45 they wrote themselves in this early time period - " Tell Me " , a beautiful song with many different chords changes . They had the talent to compose, but they loved American rhythm and blues so much , it was their primary interest . That's putting it lightly. They were rhythm and blues fanatics .
@@Methilde What I think is that you are trolling me, haha. I also think you mean that McCartney said that the Stones were just a "blues" band- a statement that is as self-serving as it is idiotic. Keith has said that "The Last Time" was when he and Mick really found their footing as songwriters-which is ironic since most of the words are lifted from James Brown's "Maybe The Last Time." In this clip, they close the show with The Last Time, which is different than opening the show with The Last Time. Mick and Keith are gaining confidence in their abilities, but the show is opened with cover songs. For a while, the Stones were just a cover band, and it was commonly understood that Brian was the band's leader. As the originals started getting stronger-not very long after this performance-the band hierarchy naturally shifts away from Brian to the band's songwriters. Aftermath was the Stones first album that featured all original material including "the change has come, she's under My thumb."

@@PAULLONDEN Yes while Keith is 'playing' the solo , I think the director didn't like rock groups.
@@PAULLONDEN thanks for that. we have a debate as to how that riff is played and I think I see it now, and i was right.
@@Bluepillphil-d1w yeah, some people insist that it's Keith playing the catchy riff on The Last Time. It's obviously Brian playing it. Keith plays the rhythm part throughout except for the solo.
I have noon both vinyl and cd Rolling Stones, Got live if you want it which was recorded live at London’s Royal Albert Hall in 66 , I highly recommend it ❤👌🎸
I don't remember to watch a unique live show with Mick Taylor, after the Brians's death... So sorry till today and Charlie was now playng your drums on a heaven place... R.I.P both !
Sensational ....not since 50's Elvis there'd been such performers . 11:24👈🏻🙂
Who even could make a lip sync highly entertaining .
Ummm… The Beatles? They were decently more popular than Elvis and The Rolling Stones.
me 2 got orniginal record 1 day came out still sound great to day love guys like family rip charlie brian stew❤
Man why dont they perform play with fire live anymore such an awesome song
It's not live here.
Have you seen Keith's fingers ?
@@bobgibb2781 its not that tricky to play
This is really awesome I really wish somebody could colorized these that would be fantastic although I don’t know what it cost too much money to do it
why colorize, this is what it is...
I like the Black and White
Realistic.
Fantastic Video!!!!!!!
Keith Richards on guitar. Yeah yeah yeah!
It’s funny seeing Keith so young and naive unprepared for what would happen and the country turning against him and Mick not being able to free himself yet and doing little dance moves
" the country turning against him " Huh? Which country and when? Do you mean Canada and the drug bust?
Sounds.just like the record....cos they 're miming!
Fantastic !❤❤❤❤❤👋👋👋👋👋👋👋👋👍👍

Ian Stewart: great piano! You can hear 'im but you can't see 'im!
Good camera work
😄😄😄 terrible.
You didn't quite get it right Dan . They recorded the first 45
they wrote themselves in this early time period - " Tell Me " ,
a beautiful song with many different chords changes .
They had the talent to compose, but they loved American rhythm and blues so much , it was their primary interest . That's putting it lightly. They were rhythm and
blues fanatics .
I'M AGREE WITH YOU
FOR ME ROLLING STONES IS THE BEST GROUP.
I WISH YOU BEAUTIFUL DAY 😍
Brian Jones Legendary Musician My Favourite 🤘🎸🥁🎤
U can see why ther th greatest R N R BAND
@Old Crow I agree. The FIRST Fleetwood Mac was GREAT!! "Evenin' Boogie", "Oh Well" !!!
Nobody but Nobody can Sing & Stare into the TV Camera like Mick Jagger - Nobody. True Command.
Brian, you were the Stones.
Why always adoring the death..
@@MD-rd7bn He became a junkie, and that was his end in the Stones.
You nailed it BJ was the Rolling stone
Great clip. Never seen it. You get a sense of Brian and the moment when the hierarchy was more than Mick and Keith. Crazy dancers.
But the songs were composed by Mick and Keith, so....
@@Methilde Not the first 2 songs: Route 66 and Little Red Rooster. To my point, the hierarchy shifts once the original material really takes off.
@@thebluesandothercolors6602 Just goods covers, maybe you think like Mcarthney they are just a cover band
@@Methilde What I think is that you are trolling me, haha. I also think you mean that McCartney said that the Stones were just a "blues" band- a statement that is as self-serving as it is idiotic.
Keith has said that "The Last Time" was when he and Mick really found their footing as songwriters-which is ironic since most of the words are lifted from James Brown's "Maybe The Last Time."
In this clip, they close the show with The Last Time, which is different than opening the show with The Last Time.
@@thebluesandothercolors6602 I was just kiding you and i think that covered greats bluesmen gives a solid foundation to the Stones to goes on they own style. Keith seems to be very suprised to discover that they could write they own songs at the begining, happy they did it.
Love this song.
Chuck Berry tune.
We put in our set list quite often
R.I.P Brian.🙏❤️🎼.x
brilliant live sound and performance by the lads
Not live. Lip syncing. Playing along to record. Nothing plugged in. No singing into a microphone. Duh.
those songs were easy to dance to
Another solid performance from Bill Wyman !!
Just kiddin'. ;)
