I do love reading, but for people who don't: If you want to get into reading more, you might want to try an app for your phone which works like an e-reader (On my phone, I've downloaded one that allows me to read tenths of thousands of books for free) and place it on your homescreen. It might work because if you grab your phone automatically, there's an instant reminder to read and it won't be more work than to open Instagram. I hope this helps!
I’ve heard of this concept of the “five second rule” applied to decision making, and you saying to “just get up” when you want to be a morning person reminded me of that, lol. You present yourself with a choice, and once 5 seconds pass you’ve basically decided to not do it already. So once you have the urge to do it, it’s oftentimes just best to do it without giving yourself the chance to question it!
That doesn't work for me. What really works is when I think of the worse consequences if I dont get things done right now and ask myself am I willing to pay or suffer.

Guys, i have tons of things as in self care for me to do but guess what it looks too much and i end up doing nothing laying in the bed and worrying and hating myself and saying tomorrow i will get it all together! Tip to become a morning person (if you have pets): set an alarm to feed your pets early in the morning. Over time they will learn that the sound of the alarm means they're about to be fed and will go nuts meaning you will struggle to fall asleep. It'll also make you feel guilty if you don't respond to the alarm and get up and feed them at that time. It will also make you feel obligated to wake up at that time too. (personal experience)

I'm using a handwritten journal but I do get scared that people might be able to read my deepest thoughts. Lol

(Posted this as a reply but also decided to post it as it’s own comment) My biggest personal tip is to do something creative every day. This even includes just brainstorming ideas you want to work on later if you’re too busy or down to do things physically. You don’t have to play 15 piano pieces or make a whole drawing each day, but do things you enjoy, like dancing, embroidery, or cooking! If anyone needs ideas for creative things to do feel free to let me know!
This pandemic is really overwhelming. The constant need to stay productive and be perfect in every aspect of your life. Listening to uplifting music instead of engaging is the best advice in this video! Other people are like learn in your free time! And yes it's good to keep learning, but sometimes it overstimulates the brain.

I already do this and let me tell you is life changing. I have a personality disorder in wich i have periods of real depression for like 5 min or a week, and then i am back to normal. Since i do this i haven't experienced this changes since 1 week! (Record for me) it distracts you and its really good for all aspects in tour life.
You are a not a morning person if you wake up at 08:00 o‘clock. This Just normal time to wake up. Morning persons wake up at like 6:00 am. Love your ideas and the video!
Work on waking up earlier one step at a time. Try waking up at noon. And then 10am or whatever your goal is. Or just start waking up at whatever your goal is. I’ve heard going to bed on time or early really helps. Change your bed time, change your wake up time
I am one of the fortunate ones that has been called back to work at the office. This also means I have to report to work at 8:30am in LA traffic. :( So I’m wondering how early do I have to wake up to benefit in those “extra morning hours”. Honestly sometimes a “9-5” desk job isn’t the greatest. You’re literally stuck in a building and miss all the sunshine; your day is pretty much gone. If someone has this figured out, please share with me.

to get up earlier in the morning I found a really cool way to get up and stay up. so usually when I have something to look forward to, like a school field trip or something, I get up earlier from, I'm guessing excitement, so now I've found out that if I make my mornings something to feel excited about or something to look forward to I've found that it's much easier to get up without as much grogginess and a lesser chance of a bad mood. I think the part of my morning that I would be excited about would be the feeling of inspiration. I always feel inspired and motivated to be productive in the morning so I'm excited to wake up early just to feel like that.

I am currently working on being a morning person! I'm renting room, basically like apartment, and last week I just moved in to a room with balcony (straight to the street) and windows to catch natural sunlight even just by sitting on my desk! Previous room, I can't even distinguish am to pm from the inside. So grateful because this balcony room is really a fight to get since lots of us want it. I started waking up at 7 or 8, self-caring for 2 hours and then do chores, la la la until I cook for lunch and get my work done. I'm a final year student only left with thesis and currently building some creative business, so this environment really helped!! What I'll be trying to do from this video, is kind of the MOVING part! Even tho I do clean my own room, I do want to have some scheduled work out plans so I'll be looking and start working on it soon! 🌥️🌟

I am currently working on being a morning person! I'm renting room, basically like apartment, and last week I just moved in to a room with balcony (straight to the street) and windows to catch natural sunlight even just by sitting on my desk! Previous room, I can't even distinguish am to pm from the inside. So grateful because this balcony room is really a fight to get since lots of us want it.
I started waking up at 7 or 8, self-caring for 2 hours and then do chores, la la la until I cook for lunch and get my work done. I'm a final year student only left with thesis and currently building some creative business, so this environment really helped!!
What I'll be trying to do from this video, is kind of the MOVING part! Even tho I do clean my own room, I do want to have some scheduled work out plans so I'll be looking and start working on it soon! 🌥️🌟
I personally don’t like posting my personal life on IG .. it’s too public. But I totally get the sharing thing because I do the same on my WhatsApp which is more private and I feel more comfortable sharing there. If there’s someone that I haven’t talked much to in a while I’ll ask for their number and we would comment on each other’s WhatsApp posts and would start conversations from there

Funny how I already knew I should do all of these things to have a more proper relaxing and happy life but I was always taking back because my brain thought I had to find something more difficult. Sometimes we think that we should always find bigger and difficult solutions to problems when the majority of times we just have to go back to the basics. Thanks for reminding me that the littlest things in my daily life count so much ❤️
