- Do you remember the story in the Bible about the Prodigal son? You know...the son who left home after taking his inheritance from his father while his brother stayed and worked? Do you remember that he left and lived how he wanted and spent his inheritance irresponsibly? He eventually returned and was welcomed with open arms by his father.
So, have you ever believed that you weren't able to return to God? Have you ever thought that you've done entirely too much for God to forgive you? In this video, you will hear my personal story about knowing Jesus and the Bible...and how I left... BUT...by Gods mercy and His grace...I've been given another chance to serve Him!
So you can too! If you're watching this...if you're reading this...you can return to living for God! Jesus is ready to give you another chance...but you have to be willing to forgive yourself and receive His forgiveness!

Thank you my brother. My wife is the prodigal spouse. She left me 3 months ago. But instead of going my separate way and coping on my own, I've returned to my first love- my Father God. It has been very painful, like never before, but my God has not left me nor forsake me like He promised. Your testimony is so powerful.

He remarried in Nov 2021. Before the year she died riddled with cancer.
He is now raising her children from her previous marriage. It’s a lot. I pray he comes to his senses. In the precious name of Jesus’s Christ I pray. 🙏🏼

I am a restored prodigal and I'm waiting on my prodigal husband to be restored with the Lord and come back home to be restored to me so our marriage can go on. No weapon formed against my husband or our marriage will prosper. In Jesus Name. Amen

I was spiritually attacked and felt sifted and was naive and didn't even know I had drifted and was not WALKING
This was not explained and I never was full and needed HIM
I strayed for a very long time (23 years) It took some terrible events to shake me down and return. Now I dont fool about with women or heavy drinking and telling dirty jokes. My life had become about ME and not about others. lot of bitter regrets..but its pointless looking back. I just want the rest of my life to honor Christ. He has done some work in me already, I dont hold grudges...well not for very long :) and I just dont bother with 'causes' that arent worth it. Its about redemption and reaching out in friendship...even to the most detestable people. Thats what Jesus did.
Non of us deserve His Love. I think its crazy...why come to the World and and live like He did..and die that awful death..for us?
Whats the best thing to do if you know a Prodigal? DONT judge them, get alongside and let them talk, if they want to. They will feel very guilty and even condemned...but they arent!
You are only wasting time if the person really couldnt care less, and has no interest at all. I wouldnt avoid them though...as long as they breath..there is that chance they might repent.
I almost see prodigals as like, say, a child that gets all angry and goes and runs away (usually not far and under the watchful eye of a parent) then they get hungry and come back into the house.....and the parents give them a hug and some dinner and tuck them into bed at night, they wont chuck the child out! God doesnt either...He loves us. Swallow your pride and just accept it. :)
When I look back on a truly bad event I was caught up in, it could have been a Lot worse...'Someone' had my back...now what kind of love is that?
Please pray for my prodigal spouse he walked out of our marriage and family after 18 years to find his happiness. He was verbally emotionally abusing our family. My heart hurts. He’s 48 n just bought a house with his sister and always put his mother sister dirty talking uncle before me n our own children. Please give me a lil encouragement 🙏🏻

@@Arkanjeli there is nothing worse than falling away. It produces nothing but confusion and fear. Luckily we got the Prodigal Son example, that we can come back if we humble ourselves and are ready to move on. I Look back with a lot of regrets. I look at today being a family day, but because of living for myself only I was never blessed with a family...so make the most of today and their company. God Bless.

This is the best video on standing for the prodigal on YT. I listened to this last year but it just showed up in my thread and I listened to it again. Now, the meaning and message is much more powerful as my prodigal wife has been gone since January 2021 and divorce is filed and house is on the market. I’m staying in the house with Jesus as my dog Danny died two weeks ago. I hear you brother, I will not give up on believing what God can and will do. It does hurt and I wanna give up but I still love my wife and want my family back together. I feel she does not really know what she’s doing and is being led astray by her reasons, justifications and advice from divorced girlfriends. Please pray for us.

I’m coming off the dark road of being a prodigal for too many years. I’ve made it so my wife really doesn’t have much respect for me anymore- she’s so quick to get angry at me, even though her and our daughter are the ones getting me back to church again. I’m even starting to get involved in worship band again, it’s been 14 years since I played and sang in the Vineyard worship group. And then there is Ephesians 4:30 about grieving The Holy Spirit. This verse is hitting me hard. It’s a miracle I’m not already dead, so I’m clinging to the Hope, that The Holy Spirit hasn’t given up on me, because without The Holy Spirit being present in my life these past recent chaotic years, I would have surely taken my life. Thanks for the great great testimony and encouragement, I know I for one really needed it desperately!
That’s an awesome testimony! I would encourage that in our season of change, that we be patient with those around you. God knows the change that has and will continue to take place because He sees our hearts. Unfortunately, our loved ones often have a hard time seeing the change right away.
My husband texted me last week that he got married. Please pray the Lord brings my husband back to a right relationship with Him and back home to me, his covenant spouse. It’s been a painful journey. Thank you
Sharon, this is not an easy thing to go through. God knows what He is doing and is still in control. The best thing we can do at this point is to ask God to do with us as He wills! Change us to be the person He wants us to be...to use our situations to create in us a clean heart and a right spirit! Praying for you friend!!
Stay strong. Keep focus on JESUS. Dwell in HIS perfect loving presence. Trust HIM to make ALLLLLLLLLLL things work together for our good and for HEAVENLY ABBA’S GLORY! 🙏😊🌹🙌 BELIEVE!

Oh how your story resonates with mine!
I was a prodigal daughter for 7 yrs and 4 yrs of which, I was also a prodigal wife. But God in His mercy and grace never gave up on me. I thought I was too far gone in my own selfish ways, disobedience and rebellion. But there is never too far and too deep of a sin that Jesus' blood can't wash and His love can't reach!!
It's been 8 months since I came back home to my Lord's house. My husband has rejected me, we are now separated and he is pursuing divorce but my Lord Jesus embraced me with open arms!!!😭😭 It is in this season of my life where God revealed to me that He is more than enough. He is all I want, all I need and all that I live for. And He never failed and never will. He has always been faithful and always will!!
Now I am living a life fully surrendered to Him. All by His grace that I am able to humble down myself and say to Him, "Lord, whatever it takes, I will follow you!!". ❤❤❤
Your return is a powerful testimony! God is truly raising up an army of prodigals to stand and fight! As far as your husband is concerned…God knows what He’s doing. If you haven’t already been doing it, ask God to help your husband heal from the wounds he has suffered and forgive himself for anything he might be holding against himself. I don’t believe it is EVER Gods will or desire for a husband and wife to divorce. I pray the Lord saves your marriage my friend!

At the end of his crisis, he will one day repent & love God with all of his mind, heart & soul. Thereafter he will most likely want to reconcile with you. God Bless
I’m praying for my ex husband. He’s a prodigal with a sex addiction. I pray he comes back to Christ. The Lord put compassion for him in my heart even though my ex has done horrible things to me. I’m obeying the Lord, I love Jesus Christ!!! 😢

Am I the only one that has noticed mostly women are standing for marriages and the rest of the whole family?? I've noticed this with people I know and dealing with many I'm praying for. Like there's 1 person praying for a bunch of family and they think we're nuts 😢. I constantly ask God for strength because it's tough.
I’m not sure about the demographics of who’s standing for their marriage and who isn’t. I would say that “hurt is hurt” and God WILL work through people dedicated to following after Him…regardless of the income.
Funny about that. It's always men who hurt women. Yet we get blamed for their actions. Im sad to say, men are harsh cruel creatures.

We will be praying in Jesus name! The prodigal son probably thought the same thing. In my personal experience, we keep living for God, make changes in ourselves and for ourselves and God...and it will all work out one way or the other. In the meantime, trust Gods process...He knows what He’s doing!

Children out of adultery is never a sign from God that He is ok with it. If we look at King David in the Bible who had an affair with a married woman, got her pregnant, tried to get her husband to sleep with her to make it seem like it was his (which he wouldn’t do), then David decided to send the guy to his death. Then God takes the child from David and Bathsheba due to the infidelity! God does not ordain adultery...nor does he condone it! You keep staying prayed up and faithful to Gods word my friend! God will have His hand on it!
Everything is possible with our HEAVENLY ABBA. There is nothing to hard for HIM. Keep believing! 🙏😊🌹🙌

I am going through it now. Trying more and more just to focus on God. Its been a month and half since she told me she wanted a divorce. We still live together. Due to circumstances. I will be moving out in December.
Anthony…we will be praying for you. I find it so reassuring that God can see the problem from a greater perspective than I can. This is what allows Him to heal everyone…but we have to continue in the fruits of the spirit (Galatians 5: 22-23)…no matter who it is or what the situation. You can do this with the help of the Lord!

I have questions:::: Yes I have some serious questions. I have never felt called for the ministry or anything else for that matter, except maybe to repent from all the dirty sins I did and let me tell you they are many ,I dont know what my spiritual gift is either so if God didn't put a call on my life what does that make me illagitment or what ??
That’s a very good question. The Bible says we must be born again...this makes the Lord our spiritual father who bestows gifts to those children. That also helps us to be able to recognize His voice. When we recognize His voice...we will hear His call to our lives. Practicing and exercising our faith helps us to determine the gifts and calling that God puts on people. We all have a “ministry”, but not everyone is called to stand behind a pulpit to preach. I also don’t believe a man (or woman) can tell us our calling before we hear it from the Lord himself. But by absolutely no means are you illegitimate to God. You (like everyone else) has to hear the calling of God for yourself!

Marcel…I am so terribly sorry about the losses you have suffered and the heart breaking you must be going through. I can tell you that Jesus knows and sees you right where you and your mom are. And can I say…He has a plan for it all. But it’s up to us to discover what it is and what role we can play in it all. See…the things we go through…I believe God wants us to use our experiences for others. Trust that God is trusting you with a great thing for someone else down the road…but you must be faithful I walking this path first.
So…to start…let’s walk (you, other folks reading here, and I) together in prayer! When we bind together in agreement…I believe that our voices will saturate Gods throne room as a pleasant melody to His ears! He delights in blessing His kids…and I believe He will do it here!

Personally, a church that preaches and teaches being born again (John 3:1-5) by being baptized in Jesus name and receiving the gift of the Holy Ghost (Acts2:38) is the church I would attend!
