I’m still struggling not to give up on Fighting for my marriage. Keep believing. Trust in Him. My husband and I had sought out a divorce in Court and an appointment with a paralegal to complete our petition. God told me to wait and I called it off and told my husband if we could stay separated but not divorce until I felt emotionally ready and he agreed. But I kept praying for my restoration or if it was in his will for us to divorce then for strength to accept it. Always pray for His will and not yours. About 2 months later he sent me a message asking if we could try to be together again. It was rocky and I wanted to leave but God kept saying “be still and know that I am God.” And lo and behold He is. The biggest miracle of my entire life so far. Restoring my marriage. Healing me and my husband because we both needed healing. I continue to pray every day to keep it that way. Neither my husband or I are the same people. We are better people and therefore now a better couple. Ask God for strength and ask for His will to be done with your marriage and for him to give you His peace that passes all understanding. If you haven’t seen the movie “war room,” you should watch it. It’s about a woman praying for the restoration of her marriage but it’s the same for men. Both sexes need to pray for their spouse every day. Even while things are good in the marriage. The devil wants nothing more than to destroy your marriage. He comes to “ kill, steal and destroy.”

I feel that as a believer, if a couple lays down & makes baby, they should get married whether or not they “feel” in love. It’s the righteous thing to do. I believe God would bless that marriage. Too many people making babies out of the confines of marriage. It’s not good for society & never has been. We need the family unit in place.

We never got married that’s where we went wrong , we lived together for almost 7 years together for 8 and everything was good until it wasn’t it was like a tornado came into our life it was awful. I had distant myself from God because of my selfish ways we separated almost two years ago and I pray for him every day my prayer change it went from him restoring us to just blessing him and if I ever did something from for God to forgive me. Dear Lilia, God has taken away my relationship of 7 years, too. As a co-dependent, I made my partner an idol instead of God. Please let go of your relationship addiction and set your eyes on Jesus alone. He knows what you need. Your boyfriend probably had an avoidant attachment style, which is easily matched with an anxious attachment style (co-dependent at worst). The baby with that other lady won't change his emotional childhood trauma. You both need healing because you can't have a healthy relationship without having one with the Lord first. I absolutely know that God can restore my marriage of 33 years any time He wants. What I don't understand is why He doesn't. It's been a long hard road the entire time. Every 5-6 years we struggle and go through counseling. This last time, I have finally hit a wall and decided that I'm done. I am admitting that we're never going to fix this and God evidently has forgotten about us. I am sure it's a result of sin. (We don't have adultery, step children, financial problems, career problems, or abuse.) I'm going word things differently here due to me being in a different theological tradition than I suspect most everyone else. What's happening is that God works through means. He isn't speaking to us other than through the Bible. Our inner thoughts are our own. What He is doing is preaching to us through His Word to repent of our stiff necked pride. He uses our errors to crush us and discipline our fallen natures. We have to suffer and come to an "end" of ourselves, then He invites us with the Gospel. Can He restore a marriage? Yes, but it's not magic. He calls sinners to turn from their wickedness. If both turn, yes the marriage can be salvaged, but honestly it is a rare thing. People mostly run after the desires of the flesh.

I’m still standing and believing God for my marriage restoration. It’s been about a year and a half, even through divorce. We communicate better than before. It’s definitely a journey. But I’m keeping the faith. All things are possible with God. I give God all the glory for my faith, hope, trust, open lines of communication, healing, reconciliation, and future restoration. Keep believing. Trust in Him. My husband and I had sought out a divorce in Court and an appointment with a paralegal to complete our petition. God told me to wait and I called it off and told my husband if we could stay separated but not divorce until I felt emotionally ready and he agreed. But I kept praying for my restoration or if it was in his will for us to divorce then for strength to accept it. Always pray for His will and not yours. About 2 months later he sent me a message asking if we could try to be together again. It was rocky and I wanted to leave but God kept saying “be still and know that I am God.” And lo and behold He is. The biggest miracle of my entire life so far. Restoring my marriage. Please let go of your relationship addiction and set your eyes on Jesus alone. He knows what you need. Your boyfriend probably had an avoidant attachment style, which is easily matched with an anxious attachment style (co-dependent at worst). I ask for prayers. I left my husband January '21 due to his Alcoholism making our marriage unhealthy. We had barely spoken, until recently when I find out he filed for divorce. Asking for prayers that God deliver my husband, change his mind set, cancel the filing, reconcile/restore our marriage. I absolutely know that God can restore my marriage of 33 years any time He wants. What I don't understand is why He doesn't. It's been a long hard road the entire time. Every 5-6 years we struggle and go through counseling. This last time, I have finally hit a wall and decided that I'm done. I am admitting that we're never going to fix this and God evidently has forgotten about us. I am sure it's a result of sin. (We don't have adultery, step children, financial problems, career problems, or abuse.) He stops caring about me and I get upset and jealous of the time he spends with his brother and friends who are at our house every day for hours. I'm wandering and lost. I don't know what to do. Right now, we're semi-separated. I'm in a mother-in-law's suite in our house. I don't want to divorce because it would devastate our children's inheritance that we are building. I'm going word things differently here due to me being in a different theological tradition than I suspect most everyone else. What's happening is that God works through means. He isn't speaking to us other than through the Bible. Our inner thoughts are our own. What He is doing is preaching to us through His Word to repent of our stiff necked pride. He uses our errors to crush us and discipline our fallen natures. We have to suffer and come to an "end" of ourselves, then He invites us with the Gospel. Can He restore a marriage? Yes, but it's not magic. He calls sinners to turn from their wickedness. If both turn, yes the marriage can be salvaged, but honestly it is a rare thing. People mostly run after the desires of the flesh.

I’m still standing and believing God for my marriage restoration. It’s been about a year and a half, even through divorce. We communicate better than before. It’s definitely a journey. But I’m keeping the faith. All things are possible with God. I give God all the glory for my faith, hope, trust, open lines of communication, healing, reconciliation, and future restoration. Each religious denomination follows its doctrinal current. I am proveniente of Jewish family but converted to the Seventh-day Adventist church, and we argue that you are only free if your husband has committed adultery, although we always work to help couples forgive each other in order to save the marriage and protect children's mind. But we believe that the Bible supports divorce only in the case of adultery. Also based in the Greek language, the word used in the New Testament that supports divorce is "pornia" which has a generic meaning, that is, all kinds of sex scandal: betrayal, adultery, homosexualism, lesbianism, Swing, pornography, voierismo, incest (father sexually abuses daughter) etc. however forgiveness is a noble and a christian attitude. But even so, God still leaves it up to those who decide to go on their way ( give ip), or even for the sake of safety, in cases where the spouse is a psychopath. Remember, there are people who forgive, but decide to give up. No one is forced to continue living together after a betrayal or any kind of public sex scandal. . The Bible gives you that free will only in the case of scandals that I mentioned above. The thing is to calm down a few days and think well so you don't regret it later. Do not act out of fury or emotion. Also take into account other factors, such as the emotional health of children under 13 years old, cause according to psychologists, all the children of separated parents have faced emotional problems due to this rupture of the parents in the home. Stop thinking that there's no way for you. Stop saying that your marital situation is the most difficult in the world. God can and will restore your marriage, if you allow it to happen, instead give up. Perhaps you have returned to seek the Lord's face only after experiencing serious problems or now that you are having difficulties in your marriage. I'm not judging you, and I firmly believe that there are things that happen in our lives because we were far away God, and yet God is merciful and wants to give us another chance.
You have certainly heard the verse: "For nothing impossible for God" (Luke 1:37). And not really! Our problems, our confusions, our marital crises are nothing to God. They would be resolved easily with just one word. In fact, this has always been my prayer: God, with just one word the Lord can transform all of this!
However, we pray for the restoration of your relationship, we pray, but what will really count is your obedience to God.
God does not restore relationships, God restores people. Take position of obedience, don'nt letting breaches to the enemy.
Girls, if you decide for restoration, don't talk to other men, nor to practice sins of the flesh also boys... Consecrate yourself to God without interest. Restore yourself first, then God will restore your spouse (partner), and the restoration of your marriage will only be the result of a life in communion with God. Pray without ceasing, that is, fellowship, seek first the kingdom of God, and the rest will come naturally, including the restoration of your marriage. Ask God to restore you and him, to save your spouse for God, for His ministry, and being from Him, your spouse will return to you. Don't be anxious, because anxiety is a lack of faith. Rest in God:

God keeps His promise, but your holiness to the Lord will count a lot in your waiting time in this processo we call "desert".
So, do not complain as the acient people of Israel did, and that's why thoseone perished in the desert without seeing or achieving the blessing ( the ptomised land).
Now, treat your partner like a friend, but less speaking is the essential. If your spouse moved to another house, delete him/her from the facebook, instagram etc leave only whatsapp, the., except phone if it is to talk about business and children. Avoid excuses to talk to him/her, never drag yourself behind him/her asking to come back, as he/she will only repudiate you even more and more.
Do not speak bad things to others about your spouse and his/her lover, but on the contrary, pray asking the Holy Spirit to help you to love and forgive them. If you do not forgive them, God will not answer your prayers or have your marriage restored. Pray to God for the lover to find someone else and also for his/her conversion. While your spouse is touching another person, do not allow him/her to touch your body. Let him/her miss you. Give yourself due value. Let the Holy Spirit work, don't get your hands on. After all, God doesn't need your help. Focus on God "the Creator", not on him/her, "the creature". Rest in the Lord. Let him/her miss you and it takes at least 3 to 24 months if you don't get in the way of God. You don't need to pray in despair. Daniel prayed 3 times a day in faith. It is not fasting or the prayer of others, it is your obedience to God that will make a difference in the search for your blessing, purpose and victory in this journey through the desert. Feed on the word to restore your life, to get the answer you need. Rest and trust that God will fulfill your desire. To pray without ceasing is not to be on your knees for 10 hours, it is to be with your mind connected to the mind of Christ, in daily life, in a spirit of holiness and communion.
