Judges have a rulebook for sentencing that they can't exceed even if they really want to. It's like a pix and mix menu for aggravating factors and they can't add more than the boxes the offense ticks off, sadly. There's plenty of Judges that give too leniently for young offenders but you can't really blame those that want to but legally can't for not being able to give more than their rulebook says - otherwise their decision will be overturned and they'll be dismissed from duty.

@@user-uj5ly1eq5n Age differences shouldn’t factor into sentencing. Rape is rape. Most child rapists are usually found guilty of statutory rape, which isn’t really rape (are we saying that teens can’t consent to sex but can consent to having sex with each other…?) Age has little to nothing to do with the psychological effects of rape. There are many other factors that affect that. If child rape is merely the worst because most people would be turned off by the idea of it, then fat people sex, old people sex, etc. should be seen in the same light. No, I DON’T have any interest in children. And I would protect any child in my care from harm. I just have a good grasp at logic.

I once held a job in a penitentiary and there are reasons why some inmates had to be kept in solitary confinement. Other inmates would attack them for the nature of their crimes. I do not agree with inmates taking the law into their hands, not at all. But, it does happen. He might also become someone else's "toy" while in the prison system. So, for someone who delighted in exerting power through rape, it is doubtful he will last even 10 years of feeling powerless in prison.

Experts say children of age 8 watch porn. It creates such trauma in their brain neuron network,
that it makes them to continue watching it..
On channel Fight the new drig they explain it.
The more trauma they feel, the more they watch it as some expert said it...because they are too young to understand it.
The brain works that way, that the more the brain is stimulatede with trauma content the more you watch tramatic videos....
Its a scientific fact. This way children get addicted to porn.
Subconscious mind works 95 percent a day, which means people are nota ware of 95 percent of thoughts.
So Masterrcard and Visa are the only one that could shut the porn industry, but they dont do it.
They did it once, but then they allowed it again.
They say 20 percent of 10 years old kids watch porn regularly, they odnt know that iots not healthy for tehm and at higher age thye will have problem to start family.
The porn industry doesnt care that kids get access to it, because they are customers.
So maybe parents should know what their 10 years old kids are doing.

Wonderful job by the judge! We need more judges like him! Maybe that will make a teen think twice before breaking the law. Teens lately are commiting so many crimes in all cities! Parents are not monitoring their teen and they roam the streets at all hours with flash mobs etc and even attack police! Lately young children are also commiting felonies all over Chgo, etc.

I was in Chicago in a car going to the airport. The driver (a black man) described how the gangs use children to commit crimes. If by chance the child is caught, the gang sends someone to down to the jail to bail him out, gives the kid $50 and tells him to go back to school. True story. The driver was not happy with this state of affairs.

I have worked in psych for 15 years, including working with children and adolescents. It is not just the parents who are negligent. We are Social learners. Look at all of the behaviors you learned from peers and from school and from the TV shows. I am 61 years old. Our Staurday morning cartoons *did* include some violent themes, including the coyote and Elmer Fudd using guns. There were no consequences when daffy Duck kept getting shot by Elmer, so kids did not see the danger of using dad's gun. Kids shot other kids. I almost put one frioend's eye out with a B-B gun. We also had comic books, but each issue was reviewed and had a stamp by the Comic Book Code that determined that comic book was approved for teenagers to read. Our TV shows did not have graphic violence or language.
Look at what children are able to access today. We have given them cell phones and other devices through which they can access the internet. Parents are sometimes working late shifts and more teens are able to watch programs like The Walking Dead that include graphic violence. They can access video games with bloody executions and can play games as military snipers. Also, there are sex websites and even websites that show gang executions, rape, public sex...and all a person has to do to access these sites is click "Yes, I am 18+". This is now part of the Social Learning atmosphere for our children. Yes, the parents are responsible for what the children are able to access. But, we also should stop allowing graphic content to be so easily accessed. Oh, and there is also now gore in our comic books and they no longer have the Comic Book Code seal of approval. Why not? Because gore sells more comic books, just like our violent TV shows.
Our children will continue to become what we allow.

Asking for a lower sentence, citing "age as a factor". If he's this f*cking evil at 14 that he'd rape and film it to share on the internet then thank God he was sentenced for the max years allowed. Can you imagine how many peoples live would have been destroyed if he had walked free in only a few short years?
