There was a stretch that the Bears scored 29+ points 3 games in a row and they couldn’t win. Something that has never happened in the history of the NFL. It just goes to show how awful the defense was post Roquan Smith being traded. The team knew what was going on it was a tank year from that point on. Defense lost all motivation.
They didn’t lose motivation lol they just weren’t good enough on Defense. U had 3rd stringers startin at most of the Dline and linebacker positions. They not on the team anymore.

This is a dumb take Hurts had the better college career when he was at Alabama and at Oklahoma. Hurts wasn’t drafted as high as Fields but because you have more athleticism than another person doesn’t mean you you’re better. Hurts decision making is leagues ahead of Fields and decision making is the biggest thing the most important thing when you’re a QB

jalen hurts last season possibly had one of the best offensive lines in nfl history, a good run game, a super talented receiving corps, arguably the second best defense behind the 49ers and a great coach. while fields had no oline, defense, receiving and a mid tier rb room that got them the #1 pick.
I guarantee you watched 2 eagles games last year. "One of the best offensive lines in nfl history" that didn't look nearly the same when hurts wasn't there vs. the saints b/c teams didn't have to account for his running ability and the optionality it brings. "Arguably the second best defense behind the 49ers" no one is arguing that but you when you want to argue against a player you don't like; they were at best top 5 last year and also were terrible against good qbs just as they were the year prior under gannon (see: the Superbowl, game against the chargers in 2021, etc. etc.). This is in no way anti-fields because I think and hope he will become very good as the bears improve, just defending hurts because people provide so many out of context points about him that undermine his value, for example, pointing to his passing touchdowns and not accounting for his 2 missed games & the eagles almost exclusively running the ball within the 10. Watch his passing tds balloon this year as Sirianni lets him pad his stats like Rodgers has his entire career within the 1.

@@al91an89 😆😆 playoffs that's far fetch, but maybe 4 to 5wins 6 maybe even 🤔 7 but that's as far I'm gonna go, Minnesota despise being fraudulent had 1 of the league best records, GB still had Aaron Rodgers and Lions was one of the best teams in 2nd half of the season
Say it again, “put him on the bears, will they be better?” ABSOLUTELY NOT
I love Greg for this everybody act like if Hurts was on the bears last year they would win a super bowl or some
Shady be so bias to his teams and hometown players. It makes a good show tho lol
Im just glad the Bears getting some national attention
@charmingchowder7997that’s a good one
That’s all gonna end when the Pack smash they a$$ week 1
@@universoullifebalanceHA!
This is where I would
Like to see film on the Justin field throws to make his point.
I watched alllll the way through and that man James Jones is a former PACKER, & he COOKED Lefraud McCoy! 14:27 was a chefs kiss ending👨🍳🤌🏽
It’s very obvious between James Jones and some comments we right back to the it’s the Team not Hurts debate again lmao
Justin Fields has all the physical potential to be great. He definitely has more zip on his throws and is an electric runner with the football. But it’s about the nuances, details and mental side of football where Jalen is superior. It takes more than just being able to throw a ball far and fast to be a great QB.
Fields has it on the mental side too. Dude had the highest score ever on the mental aptitude test coming into his draft. The problem was no oline to block or any WRs that could get separation. There were a few games where Equanimeous St Brown was his #1 lol
@@tweezerd😭😭 tell them
@@tonydanielii1026 I think the Bears and Fields are going to ball. And if the Bears continue to put talent around him, expect greatness. Until the season starts, Fields still has to prove himself and continue to develop. Why can’t people just see that Hurts and Fields are constantly doubted against. Let them prove people wrong with winning.
He’s superior with more experience. That’s how life is. most 2nd graders are better in school than first graders.
@@tweezerd You notice how everyone that craps on Fields intentionally leaves out that he had 2 different Head Coaches, QB coaches, OC's, GM's (and GM strategies) in his first 2 years. Look at his 2 different receiving corps in his first 2 seasons. By the way, where the heck are any of those receivers now?! Any team rushing to hire the last GM as their GM, or Nagy as their HC? Uh, EFF NO!!!
Meanwhile, Hurts had all the consistency in coaches, players and personnel that Fields DID NOT HAVE. They conveniently forget that Fields had no O-line, lost a game against Detroit because the kicker missed a PAT, helped Mooney emerge as a stud one year, lost him to injury the next. Lost a game where ESB dropped a pass to move the chains late. We won't even mention the penalties.
How about the fact that they pretend it wasn't a rebuilding year AND they pretend that Ryan Poles never said that a rebuild doesn't take just one year? Personally, I think they need a QB to pick on that has real talent and superstar potential AND is so humble. If they pick on a scab, that's low hanging fruit. They know Fields is AMAZING, only Jones was man enough to say it! Sorry to type this long response. All the best.
Justin Fields now has a no.1 WR in D.J.Moore
Shady frequently forgets that Hurts was being considered a bust until he popped off last year.
He had only played one season and made a huge leap…
@@jairmejiaii that didn't make what I said not true. Meanwhile Justin was on his 3rd offense in 3 years and singlehandedly keeping them in games they had no business competing in.
Do you realize there's only 1 starter in an offensive skill position returning this year? Darnell Mooney. And he moved from a 1 to a 3. That's how bad his supporting cast was.
No, he actually led his team to the playoffs in 2021.
@@brandonwalker9383 he led that team as much as Rex Grossman led the Bears.
Thank goodness for James !!
I mean he could honestly put up some fairly similar numbers. 4400 total yards and 35 total tds. Hurts was good but he was far from breaking records or having one of those wild seasons like Mahomes Brady and manning have had
He will have more than 6 ints I promise you
because our running game is that good. that’s not hurts fault he only threw 22 td’s… the running game is the best in the league and we tryna win. so why be dumb and not take advantage of our running game.
@@MarkWilliams-d7m I get what your saying but at the end of the day the stats are the stats. I’m not even tryna say he’s overrated or anything either I’m just sayin he wasn’t really a mvp level season and if the bears play better fields can put up some fairly comparable numbers. Something like maybe 4000 combined yards and about 30 combined tds.
@@MarkWilliams-d7mactually the bears were quite literally the number 1 rushing offense in the league last year🤣wit justin being there leading rusher
@@nathanagayre-may2043 bears had most rushing yds for sure but eagles had like double the TDs. im a bears fan btw and their rushing attack last year was great and fun to watch but gotta be real. flip justin's rushing yds to passing and the team would have been around bottom 10 in both. one dimensional because nothing built around the qb. looking promising this offseason tho fields and moore gonna ball
Put justin fields on the eagles and watch LeSean flip like a pancake 😂😂
Go look at that touch down throw to the tight end against the 9ers..running to his left dropping an ABSOLUTE DIME. that alone shows his arm talent
That deep shot against Dallas in the corner of the endzone
So they're totally fine disrespecting Daniel Jones like that but not Justin Fields? 🤔
Shady killed me at the end pointing at James 🤣
The real question is if you put Fields in Philly with that stacked team he would of been going crazy like Hurts better yet put Fields in SF he would be balling more than Purdy.
i just told myself the same thing fields in SF under Shannahan is a perfect marriage the would be better than the eagles
Hurts didn’t go crazy🤷🏿♂️22-9 is not going crazy. 1100 rushing yards in 15 games is going crazy…specially when then coach didn’t play to his strengths till week 5.
@@karlmoorman822wtf 😂😂😂L take man you think Justin is as efficient and accurate as Jalen is ?
Jalen Hurts stays getting disrespected
Real talk.
Best segment of the week
Dude was lighting Shady up I can’t lie 😂😂😂
But you can’t make this argument for Daniel Jones. That’s crazy.
His team was, and still is loaded...! Fields had nothing, literally out the mud vs. silver spoon
Jalen didn't have a loaded roster two years ago and made the playoffs.
It seems like only one person in that room actually paid attention to the bears last year. “Look at all the highlights”
Fire quote
To put everything in perspective Jalen Hurts had a 54.6 Qbr in his 2nd year and Justin Fields had a 54 Qbr, Fields has had far less than Jalen Hurts to work with but congratulations to Jalen for accomplishing everything he has regardless of what he had around him
Why do you have to put Jalen down to compliment Fields? People in these comments are acting like Hurts is a bum
Shady’s argument is incoherent, lacks statistics and facts. Its just the philly connection that’s causing this bias. Hurts is great but also he was in a great team. So u can’t parallel them yet untilFields has a great team around him too, then you can make that argument
The way that analyst forget their assessments of players from year to year invalidates their assessment as a whole. Before last year every thing that they are currently saying about Justin Fields they said about Hurts. “We know he can run but he has to prove he can pass.” “The team may have to move on from Hurts after this year if he doesn’t show he can throw the ball.” Weapons and an OLine and a defense matters!
Justin fields hasn’t never had a team as good as jalen hurts simple hurts never had a team as bad as Justin fields
Shady is on the level of Skip Bayless when it comes to being a homer. He's embarrasing himself.
All he did was speak facts. Can you honestly give me an education as to why everyone is high on fields because I’m lost. Aside from his running(which doesn’t make you a great qb) what else does he have in his toolbox?
Hurts proved himself already fields hasn’t it’s that simple u can’t compare the 3 win guy to the guy who outplayed mahomes in the SB
Even Jalen Hurts first year as the starter he had Devonta Smith to throw the football to
Couldn’t have outplayed mahomes if mahomes won the Super Bowl and jalen needs to prove it can be a one year fluke like wentz was
Put fields on the eagles team and he would be considered a top 3 QB.
you sound stupid lol @charmingchowder7997
@@joshchavez8614didn’t y’all hop on Joe burrow meat after one good season
Imagine throwing to WRs that cant get separation or make most teams rosters vs 2 1's on 95% of rosters. Also show me one throw by Hurts that was better than TD throw against 49ers by Fields or the throw to RB up sideline vs Cowboys...Fields throws elite passes, his problem now is to find consistency.
Jones is right, quit comparing team success to individual talent
Having this show sponsored by Popeyes is the real disrespect 😂

Aaah, Jalen Hurts. The guy who beat a team that was on their 4th string QB in the Conference Game. Hurts is getting too much love.😂
That was put out by the defense he plays with, but he also put up 31 against the top defense in football. Nice try

@katiecaddle oh you mean the game he played with one arm? Nice try junior. It made him look even better, especially since it took a late hit to hurt him.
Jalen Hurts has definitely had great throws, this guy is denying that just to win the argument smh I hate when ppl do that, feilds may throw further but he is not more accurate as of right now
Everyone using Jalens team as a excuse has 0 football IQ lol
The eagles as an organization is ran well. the Chicago bears draft it Mitchell trubisky over DeShaun Watson...🙃 The o line was horrible along with the coaching and defense... Fields is a more natural thrower of the ball, not close. But hurts won't be out worked and is always improving
Different front office and coaching back then tho and new gm has it moving in the right direction. Pace was the worst. He traded all draft capital away and messed up the $$ with terrible contracts. Last year was Poles cleaning up the mess by stripping down the roster to build future assets and tank which didn't give Eberflus or Fields much to work with. This is year 2 of the rebuild and first 1st rnd pick in like 4 years, only like 10 guys left from Pace era, improved weapons oline and defense, and things are looking up. Fields work ethic is right up with Hurts too and we know the talent is there but TBD if he can make a similar jump.
Eagles organization ran so well it took them decades to finally win a SB after having zero SBs and drafting Jalen reagor over Justin Jefferson? Lol sit this one out lol
