As a person from Illinois and a Dallas Cowboys fan, yes Cowboys, Justin Fields he had nothing as of “player talent” until this year. Hurts came into a winning team with many draft picks and better coaching and owners. I think Justin having more help and talent will help him a lot. Fields does need to excel his arm this year. 😊

I guarantee you watched 2 eagles games last year. "One of the best offensive lines in nfl history" that didn't look nearly the same when hurts wasn't there vs. the saints b/c teams didn't have to account for his running ability and the optionality it brings. "Arguably the second best defense behind the 49ers" no one is arguing that but you when you want to argue against a player you don't like; they were at best top 5 last year and also were terrible against good qbs just as they were the year prior under gannon (see: the Superbowl, game against the chargers in 2021, etc. etc.). This is in no way anti-fields because I think and hope he will become very good as the bears improve, just defending hurts because people provide so many out of context points about him that undermine his value, for example, pointing to his passing touchdowns and not accounting for his 2 missed games & the eagles almost exclusively running the ball within the 10. Watch his passing tds balloon this year as Sirianni lets him pad his stats like Rodgers has his entire career within the 1.

Look at his 2 different receiving corps in his first 2 seasons. By the way, where the heck are any of those receivers now?! Any team rushing to hire the last GM as their GM, or Nagy as their HC? Uh, EFF NO!!!
Meanwhile, Hurts had all the consistency in coaches, players and personnel that Fields DID NOT HAVE. They conveniently forget that Fields had no O-line, lost a game against Detroit because the kicker missed a PAT, helped Mooney emerge as a stud one year, lost him to injury the next. Lost a game where ESB dropped a pass to move the chains late. We won't even mention the penalties.
How about the fact that they pretend it wasn't a rebuilding year AND they pretend that Ryan Poles never said that a rebuild doesn't take just one year? Personally, I think they need a QB to pick on that has real talent and superstar potential AND is so humble. If they pick on a scab, that's low hanging fruit.
