I agree with your choice of popper for surface. I also add a prop bait in that category. It gives the action of cast and retrieve lures, while also having the “sit and fuss” action of a popper. I would like to add the old style darter lure too, like a Bass O-Reno. But they’ve gone waaayyy out of fashion these days; most people don’t even know they existed! Always enjoy your vids . Thanks David
I appreciated this video, as a brand new Angler 5his really helped me.I was ever taught how to fish and looking forward to learning now that I just bought property off Bull Shoals Lake in Ak. I am going to share this video with my Husband about these lures and see about starting me my own Tackle Box. I am so excited to get started. I guess I better get me a rod now.
Awesome advise Ike. I am new to Bass fishing from a boat and I appreciate you keeping us newbies in the know. Thanks for the great videos. Best of luck in the 2022 season.
Great video Mike! Wish I could have seen something like this when I first started. I love these “In the Shop” vids. Now the only question is, “Where can I find that new Crappie bait called “STARBURST”?! 🤣😂😅
@@mikeiaconellifishing I ordered the molix double Colorado from the video link along with the rapala popper, I like Colorado blades anyway 😀 and of course since there are no shad in the PNW lakes, ordered the spinnerbait in Ike’s Pummel Fish color 🤟
I’m 52 and new to fishing, especially bass fishing. I really enjoy your videos. Thanks for sharing

I like you video thanks your class training regards bother.
Ike, the spinnerbait in your link is a double Colorado. But you showed a double willow in the video.

We have the same last name, and you have my dad and and my oldest brothers first name.
I fished my first one last year and there are lots of greats videos talking through the process
Idk about a ton of new anglers but we got a ton of new immigrants 😆
Fish that live in water, where else do fish live?🙄🤔
