from my experience the way I would describe dyslexia is to imagine some kind of motherboard and somewhere in that motherboard. One set of wires gets crossed, So not every bit of information gets processed properly which leads to the system getting confused and muddled when information involving the use of those wires are used. Now imagine the only solution an engineer to remedy this issue is to put another set of wires over the cross so the information can pass through uninterrupted at times but the underlining fault will rear's its ugly head. So in a lot of cases you can reduce the impact of it through practice. I don't believe I have ever read anything about emotions being link it, In my personal experience I was found a distaste for English and the arts in my early years of school and focused on Mathematics and problem solving. So I tended to be more logic driven than emotional. Take from that what you will because everyone is different
I’m honestly surprised you didn’t include TLOU2, not even as an honorable mention. No matter your thoughts on the game itself, it doesn’t change the fact that trailers intentionally made it seems as if Joel was going to have a larger role in the game than he actually did. This of course didn’t happen, and instead the parts of the trailers with him in it were either altered flashbacks or replaced with an entirely different character in the actual game. And when Neil Druckmann openly admitted that they intentionally did this in order to make what eventually happens more shocking, it’s just a gross case of false advertising than I’m entirely surprised that barely anyone has called them out on. Then again, with basically every pundit wanking the game and treating it like the second coming of Christ, I suppose that’s no surprise, really.

So stuff like community updates, mods becoming dlc (like Binding of Isaac Repentance and the Creators Club), and other stuff. There's a surprising amount of stuff in there. I suggest looking at Ascended Fanfic on TV tropes, as there is some great examples on there.

I do wonder how we could've had a more satisfying ME3 ending though? perhaps not tailor-made but why not just have certain things that you have to achieve in order to get a text box of an ending for each our your party members? Like fire emblem does? Maybe have those bits allow certain actions your party members can take or have another set up like the suicide mission for ME2? There couldve been better options im sure....
When it comes to mass effect 3 there was already a hint that things were going to go badly when it came to botching the ending choices, when they couldn’t even get the choices you made in the first game (save for three) to carry onto the second one.

yep, one typo made their AI have a bunch of errors, including making some of them only have a detection radius that would require them to be an inch in front of you to truly detect you
I still have a favourite but it's just because I experienced it myself. Walking into a game shop back in the day when the PS2 was brand new, looking at the game intro vid for the new WWE Smackdown game and being blown away by footage of complete and utter absolute fabrication. Not a single piece of graphics or animation from it was actually in the playable game itself, which looked just about exactly the same as its predecessor on the PS1. Just a ridiculous level of utterly deliberate false advertising.

Funny thing with Alien: Colonial Marines... Most of the AI bugs can be traced down to a SINGLE typo in the code, where a variable is spelled wrong. It isn't the only thing, but replacing that one letter takes the AI from getting stuck dancing in the corner to acting reasonably recognizable as aliens.

"Meat Grinder" is a term I've heard used for Tabletop RPG modules that are so ridiculously hard, players basically have to keep several character sheets on standby because of how stupidly high the odds are of their characters dying. A Meat Grinder video game would be literally any video game that sells itself on a high difficulty level, usually represented by having infinite lives and every level being an insane deathtrap. "Meat Grinder" is an apt term for it considering we have Super Meat Boy out there as a perfect representative of the concept. I think it's most common for platformers on the indie scene than for any other genre or in any other sector of the industry, as I can think of several games that would fit the bill and they're almost all indie platformers. Unless Soulslikes somehow fit the bill...

Once someone saw it, years later, and changed it, the AI actually was pretty good, but the fact it was good isn't the point. It's the fact that someone didn't find that they botched the AI before launch.

After watching the video: I get most of these and this video is meant to be negative, but Danganronpa V3 uses of lying deserved to be talked about.

It’s nice not seeing No Man’s Sky on here since hearing the story behind the game’s development let’s you understand why so many things were promised but never went into the game. Also it has since been fixed without requiring the purchase of dlc and is basically the game that was promised at release.
