I've been to the observation deck of the empire state building, but probably the most interesting was the Willis tower in Chicago. It has these glass cube shaped decks that you walk out and look down and you are above a street and it's really cool.

I went to Taipei 101 in August 2016 and it was a great experience. In Taipei 101 itself there's a shopping mall, fountains and etc, to get there are also easy just take the MRT to Taipei 101. I also went the observation floor which is the highest point and you can see Taipei and the surroundings, it was great although the inside (like store, facilities and etc) i still prefer Tokyo Skytree or Tokyo Tower but the conclusion is Taipei 101 was excellent and when you were in Taipei don't forget to visit Taipei 101 thanks
