Funfact: if we count the other promise here than Roxas is the most consistent secret boss in the franchise tied with Xemnas both of theam counting 3 apperiences as one

Roxas has only been a superboss twice: Data-Roxas in KH2FM and Bug Data-Roxas in Re: Coded.

Im disappointed that these aren't actual boss fights like Ansem, Xemnas, Maleficent, and Xehanort.
I suppose that their idea was to make bosses only the main/final villains of the Kingdom Hearts titles... even if they skipped Marluxia for KH Chain of Memories, for example.
I imagine cuz u play as two of the characters you’d be fighting.
Perharps the boss idea was introduced late in production, so they didn't have enough time to make more.

Fun fact, Roxas's Other Promise song on MoM is the only theme that doesn't end with 3 star notes. Almost like they were saying his life is incomplete, really sad when you think about it.

Here's another fun fact, Vector to the Heavens has 358 notes in MoM which I'm pretty sure was intentional
I just did a run of MoM, and Other Promise wasn't the only one. Can't remember exactly, but at least two more didn't finish in triple star noted
I remember clearing all of the songs from KH2 and being really disappointed not to get The Other Promise, as it is one of my all-time favourite Kingdom Hearts melodies (especially the version they play when you actually fight Roxas in the World That Never Was in KH2:FM). And then I made it to these hidden songs and was real happy

I unlocked these by default because I was doing every mission, so I didn't even know these were secrets.
Nachtflügel needs to be DLC and be insanely more difficult than every other song.

Pretty sure the reason they went for the PS2 versions of them is that they work better rhythmically. Just like Night of Fate and Shrouding Dark Cloud.

the song is reasonably doable, the stars are a bitch to get tho. you need to get 77% rainbow excellents, which translates to about a 9.7M score or something (or 260 rainbow excellent total, which wasnt achieved in this video)

I was honestly hoping the Yozora theme would make it into this
Well the game is memories of the events Kairi knows about, and the Yozora boss happens as a secret from Sora’s pov after he disappears from their reality. It doesn’t seem to take place in reality (Yozora even says it’s not the real world) so not even Riku who had Sora and Yozora in his dream would’ve known about the fight (so no knowledge of music)

Given 3 is mostly memory dives (or whatever the cutscene based songs are called), even if we had gotten Yozoras theme here itd probably be disappointing

If they put an actual boss fight for those 3 songs, which is Sephirot, Lingering Will, and Roxas, than people can doing "Days Trio (Roxas) vs Roxas" or "BBS Trio (Terra) vs Lingering Will (Terra)" ... and I guess Square Enix doesn't want such a thing ...
@@ManusiaKagakRusuh That doesn't make much sense though, why would that be a problem when you have literally every other boss playable with every team? especially when as far as we know, no other team but the original trio is even canon in terms of who's playing the stages

Even if Terra (BBS Trio) can fight his own Heartess (Ansem) or Nobody (Xemnas), those boss are still partially Xehanort, so it's not technically Terra himself ...
But Terra vs Lingering Will is inevitably Terra fight against himself ...
Same goes to Roxas vs Dual-Wielding Roxas ...

Strange that they chose The Other Promise here; it had to be in the game but why is it with the other secret boss themes? I was expecting Yozora/Shibuya to be here.
Kairi is seeing all this songs so seeing the Yozora Stage would be a bit to revealing for her.
Perhaps because Roxas Battle was KH2 Final Mix exclusive, just like Lingering Will was in KH2 Final Mix and Sephiroth was in KH 1 Final Mix

@@AlexxxMYLSince2013 I don’t think Mysterious Figure’s OST gets reused, and the version of Disappeared in KH2 isn’t the same as the one in KH1.
My predictions:
We’re gonna get three or four spin-off games going forward:
A) Riku looking for Sora. I think he’s gonna get an idea of how to get him back but then he’ll be attacked and overwhelmed by something or someone in Yozoras world. He’ll come back bloodied and battered with the necessary revelations to advance the plot and while he recovers the other two spin-offs take place.
B) Aqua and Kairi training. There’s still plenty of relatively easy to handle patches of darkness left behind. Kairi and Aqua can play clean up and have plenty of great character moments. Kairi can be greatly evolved and progressed as a fighter even more and even possibly get a new outfit going into KH4.
C) The least likely to happen, but I really want it to. Mickey. Scala Ad Caelum. The Fortellers. It’s literally setting up a “Jiraiya searching for Pain” type deal. Right as Mickey finds the info he needs the Fortellers are gonna show up and utterly destroy him. Before being defeated/killed/sealed/etc. he’s gonna scribble something down and give it to Pluto and then send him away with a star shard or somethin. Badass and tragic.
D) Verum Rex. Speaks for itself.

@@fork-man KH’s style is FF. The content that ppl mostly come there for, is all FF styled. They can’t execute the Disney stuff properly so they use the FF stuff.
As for why he isn’t using the FF stuff, simply isn’t relevant anymore. What does Sephiroth have to do with anything going on in KH? In KH1 it was related to Cloud and secret boss stuff when they lacked secret boss content. Then he was in KH2 for more cloud conclusion and secret boss. After that, Cloud is less relevant than Leon so Sephiroth just isn’t needed.

1) This is still canonically important, right?
2) If yes, what new lore was thrown in?
The only new thing added was that the place Sora is trapped in is called Quadratum.
It showed how Kairi ended up in the destiny islands, the name of the city Sora ended up in (that Yozora is from), that Riku set off to there alone, and that Kairi is now training under Aqua

I was expecting Square Enix used Advent Children Complete's version of Katayoku no Tenshi. But nope. They had to go with Kingdom Hearts Final Mix's version.

I'm hoping KH4 will feature Kairi as the playable protagonist with Donald and Goofy serving as her partners just as they did with Sora. It's about time she graduated from damsel in distress to hero in her own right. While Riku searches for Sora, Yen Sid instructs Kairi to visit different worlds and identify the new 7 hearts after Maleficent and Pete steal a Gummiphone and gives it to Pete's old friend Emil Eagle to see if the data inside will be any good to them. At the same time they also try to find info on the masked people (the lost Masters of course) they saw Xigbar with before they take the Black Box from him. In case Mleficent decides to go after the other princesses, Yen Sid orders Terra, Ventus, Aqua, Roxas, Xion, and Axel to guard Snow White, Cinderella, Aurora, Alice, Belle, and Jasmine respectively. Since it will be her first time traveling through the worlds, Donald, Goofy, and Jiminy decide to go with her to watch her back. As for Mickey, he's tasked with following aleficent and Pete. This mission will serve as Kairi’s Mark of Mastery. Before she starts her journey, each character bestows Kairi a magic ability: Fire (Axel), Blizzard (Isa), Thunder (Roxas), Magnet (Xion), Earth or Gravity (Terra), Water (Aqua), Aero (Ventus), Cure (Namine), and Stop (Mickey).
The worlds Kairi visits will be based on movies with mostly female leads and in the following order:
Brave
Frozen 2
Cinderella 3
The Little Mermaid 2
Pocahontas
The Princess & The Frog
Mulan 2
Moana
Aladdin & The King Of Thieves
Winnie The Pooh (2011)
The worlds for Tangled the series and Snow White would also be visited but only in cutscenes. Radiant Garden and the Bug Blocks will return. Pocahontas, Tiana, Anna, Rapunzel, and Moana will be confirmed to be 5 of the new hearts. There will also be 6 summons: Olaf, Fairy Godmother, Maui, Genie, Mushu, and the 7 Dwarfs. During all this time, there will be cutscenes of Sora and Riku's time in Quadratum and after clearing all the Disney worlds, Kairi, Donald, and Goofy find their way there and join up with them for the final battles.
Towards the end, everyone learns a startling truth. When the X-Blade was broken into 7 lights and 13 darknesses, not only did the 7 lights become the hearts for the 7 Princesses, but the 13 darknesses became the hearts for 13 of the most black hearted villains, the 13 Lords of Darkness. And all of them must be reunited to recreate the X-Blade.
I also came up with 2 side games:
First there is "KH: Mickey's Quest". This game takes place during the first. It will focus on what Mickey was doing while Goofy and Donald were traveling with Sora. The worlds Mickey visits are based on Gummi Bears, Leroy & Stitch, Bambi 2, Song of the South, The Wind In The Willows, Bedknobs & Broomsticks, Darkwing Duck, and The Great Mouse Detective.
The second is "KH: Bonds of Time" which will follow Roxas and Xion going on a special mission together. This will take place either before or after KH4. Yen Sid has the two of them go back in time to the days of the lost masters to learn more about them and their successors, 2 of whom they recognize as Ventus and Marluxia. Before they arrive in Daybreak Town, they travel to different times in various worlds. The worlds they visit are based on: Beauty & The Beast, The Sword In The Stone, The Hunchback Of Notre Dame 2
, Tarzan 2, Alice In Wonderland, The Lion King, The Little Mermaid 3, 101 Dalmations, and Ducktales The Movie: Treasure Of The Lost Lamp. I chose these movies so we can see their worlds done right with the new graphics and all and we can interact with the young version of Tarzan and Simba. We will also get to fight Gaston, Madam Mim, Cruella, and Merlock. Jiminy procures the aid of Bernard and Miss Bianca from "The Rescuers" to join Roxas and Xion to watch their backs and chronicle their journey on his behalf using the Gummi Phones. The gameplay for this game will be similar to Birth By Sleep only you don't have to create 3 games for 3 separate characters. Instead the player will be able to switch between Roxas and Xion during the journey and battles. Plus if one gets knocked out, the player will automatically be able to switch to the other and heal them when they can. Although both characters can be used, some abilities and techniques will be exclusive to each of them as they level up.
However, if KH4 is going to once again have Sora as the playing character. I hope at least 9 to 10 of these movies will be featured as new worlds.
