I’ve been a subscriber to your channel for years. It’s been fun watching your high quality and educational content all these years. I really could use a Bluetti for my power needs.
Already did my post for the contest. Wanted to come back and say THANKS for the video and all the information on induction cooktop. We have been considering this option and you have helped with making a decision. Keep up the great work!
Been eyeballing the BLUETTI lineup for awhile. Using one of their power station's for induction cooking may have just sold me on grabbing one of their units. Thanks for the information and review.
Nicely done! A few years back I wanted to certify my camper van as an RV. One of the requirements was having an on-board connected stove so I hooked up an induction hotplate that we had. My plan was to remove it once the van was certified. However, I wound up loving it. Most of my meals are simple and use very little power (think grilled cheese or eggs). I use a capsule coffee maker that takes about 5 minutes to brew/cup. I have also used a small electric pressure cooker. They are really efficient because when they reach pressure they cycle on and off and use very little power. Thanks again, good explanation and a nice demo.
I’m on vacation with limited cell service so watching RUclips is a little difficult right now. I saw this Bluetti video before I left. I’ll watch the updated version when I get back
Thank you! I'll use mine more often than my Coleman. Sometimes the butane gets too cold to use on cold mornings. This is great to know about the induction.
Just recently found your channel and I've already learned a ton of great stuff! I've been living in my converted bus for almost 4 yrs now, Montana is by far my favorite destination. I love seeing one of your videos in a place I've been but you always uncover things I didn't see or know about. Also love your tips for off grid living, so helpful! TY for sharing your travels and knowledge!
I am glad that he put this video out again. Knowing using an induction stove on the Bluetti power station it will not use on grid electric. I like your wonky spoon that is so cool. Now I am grateful that I do not need to buy flavored oatmeal and will save money. The sandwich looks so good, and I am going food shopping so I will be able to make this. Whoever wins I will be happy because I learned about the induction stove and how to cook and save money. Even though I do not have a big power station, I have a mini station and I realize it was not what I thought it was. But that's okay it is like an introductory for the future. If God willing someday, I will have a power station like you have and then it will be worth it. So, Rick and Linda have a Blessed Christmas and stay safe, warm/cool and blessings to both of you and all.
Like your cooking ideas, also that spatula. All would work well with the BLUETTI POWER STATION,. WE WOULD LOVE TO WIN IT. THANKS FOR THE VIDEOS. Kim and Kathy here
we have used Bluetti power on an earlier trip and loved it. we are planning to return to the USA for another road trip and would love to have another BLUETTI. thanks for your channel and Merry Christmas to you all.
Dang! When are those tekkie geeks going to invent smellavision? I happen to love curry too... I'm pretty well locked into propane and twin 5 gallon tanks with the truck camper. I do run the absorption fridge on 120volts during daylight hours at 330 watts when running, it cycles. Parking g with the fridge side in the shade helps lower cycling. Perhaps a new rv someday will be all solar electric. Merry Christmas to you Rick, Linda, and family. With the special discount code "Happy New Year " I'll give you that too at no additional charge....😅😊
Thank you, Jeff! Wishing you and yours a very Merry and filling Christmas. We'll take you up on that discount code for a Happy New Year for all of us wanderers, wherever we may be.
I like those induction cook tops because you can dial in exact temps, for deep frying, without ever scorching the oil, melting chocolate, cheeses, etc..I built my 30KW 48 Volt batteries out of LIFEP04 280 AH EVE and CATL Prismatic cells,, JK BMS, All in one EG4 6000 XP inverter/solar charge controller/ac charger, and 6000 Watts of panels...The system altogether was under $6000 dollars, runs 120 and 220 loads, and you just can't beat it..Runs my whole house in the forest easily..And has enough battery/solar panels to always have enough..
Some things can go forever! Thank you for your post. We are looking to change out our RV stove 1995 Duchtmen original, to a 2 burner induction...we just changed out our inverter to work with Lifepo4 and will add as we go. The wife is not cool with gas in the Match box home :)
Great presentation on the induction cooktop.. I had already recieved one last Xmas and it works fine.. The Bluetti AC200L would make quite an improvement on my travelling / preparedness preps. Always look forward to your travel and equipment videos.
We do buy things on your recommendations..... we own a Bluetti and an Oupes because of your vids.....we trust y'all tell us the truth.....we own Alpicool portable refrig also.....y'all do great job
Love your videos. So informative and helpful. How about having Linda do some more cooking videos and sharing some of her favorite camping recipes. That would be great. Thx
Great vid Rick n Linda. I plan on taking our induction top next time we take the RV out. BTW, I believe we were at the KOA in Ely, NV about the same time y'all were in the area. Have a blessed Christmas.
Been working on my homebuilt camp trailer. The Bluettie would be a great addition. Currently I have 1 - 100AMP Dr. Prepare lipo4 battery and 2000 watt inverter for powering most of everything.
A lot of us can't afford to buy one of those high dollar Bluettis. I'm lucky to have 1 100AH Lipo4 batteries and a 1000watt power inverter, which barely will run a really small coffee pot. But I will admit this would be super nice.
We're looking forward to trying that curry recipe, anything with coconut milk/cream has to be delicious! Saving our change to get a BLUETTI, I can't wait to see all it can do!
Y'all. The description says this video has been updated and reposted. Remember the drawing from last week? I assume it has ended and so the video was updated to omit the drawing info and kept all the other important stuff. 🤙🏼
The induction burner is a SUNMAKI. We picked it because of the price, didn't do much research on it and it's working just fine. The skillet is a steel fry pan that I bought from TJMaxx. Take a magnet along to test the bottoms of the pans you look at.
Ya, Thanks THANKS LOL NEED THE ♥ 's, maybe 4 The Sandwich?, & Did Ya See That Easy Rueben Pizza i' Found, Heard its a Hit in Quartzsite, Peace To; Goneagain 's.
As to cost of fuel versus solar power , one needs to add in the cost of the appliances used to catch and store the solar electricity. Compare apples to apples to get ones real cost comparison. Just a thought. 😮
I bought an induction cooktop a few days ago on Amazon and had to return it. It made me very dizzy, I felt like vomiting and had difficulty to breath after I turned it on . I am not sure if the electromagnetic technique affected my health or the noise it made . Can you advise if you have had the same situation as me please ❤
I had a guy telling me he could use his aluminum pots and pans. He had a metal plate he would place on the top and put the pan on that. Never tried it so i don't know if it actually works.
Same video? Either way, since the original test vid. We had the X class solar flare (CME). My family and I thought, well, now the Bluetti is becoming almost a need more than a want.
Is this a accidentally repeat of the other video with the comparison and the Bluetti ... I'm confused Rick ?!?!? I think it's the same Bluetti.. Merry Christmas gonagain🎄
I have the induction burner in my van. They sure do heat up food very quickly! Didn't I watch this video the other day?? Must be something happened and you had to repost.
Solar is not free- you have to buy all the hardware- panels, batteries, etc. It looks like it take $2000 to $3000 of solar installed, to do what a $50 gas stove will do? and the gas stove is easier to carry and store, when traveling. Also gas is much cheaper in a a 20# propane bottle. Sleeping in a $100K RV is cheaper than a motel if you don't count the cost of the RV. So, you are going to poop in a bucket and use a $3000 coffee maker?
the store close to me gets almost $10 for the 1 pound stubby propane canister. my camp chef stove has 2 20,000 btu burners, the small can wouldn't last long at all. The Bluetti would probably handle every power need I would have use for
Nice Curry Dish Linda. Indian Food has been a Favorite since my first taste over 60 years ago. I was Hooked. There are over 20-some different recipes and probably more. Thai coconut with hot peanut sauce is a killer too. Just keep the Tums handy. Something tells me, there is a Hawaiian Curry that is special to the islands yes??? Indian, Arabic and Greek food is in my opinion, to die for. The Tumaric powder will make Everything yellow no matter where you splash it. Be careful. I will gladly share some of my special concoctions and blends with you anytime. Chow Down Slowly. 🎉
Hawaii has such a mix of cultures that our cooking is always a blend of them all. All good stuff, very ono. Hey, our emails to you keep coming back so please check what's going on with that. Thanks for the coffee, love them all!

I agree. We actually stopped taking our butane burner along with us.

Thank you we definitely learned something new about induction cook tops and how well the Bluetti performed.

Nice review of the AC200L and its capabilities. Those were some great meals prepared using the Bluetti, the curry looked mouth watering.
The Bluetti sure makes it all look easy.
Wow, not sure what happened. I always enjoy your teaching videos. Bluetti seems to have great products.

Been wanting an induction, I think this convinced me! A Bluetti would be nice to pair with it as well!
I’d love to run my induction cooktop on that Bluetti!

That Bluetti is so cool!
Rick it’s only free after you amortize the power station and solar panels. 😂 and the curry dish looks excellent gonna have to try that.
Good video, I will still refill my one pounder propane bottles for cooking. If you are camping with a plug in then they are great.
Thanks for the information on which pots and pans work and don't work on the induction cook top.

Our induction cooktop doesn't affect us, but I don't doubt what you're saying. Infrared heat makes my brain go wonky.

I saw Bluetti was having a pretty decent year end sale. Just in case anyone is in the market to purchase one.
Idea, get the GasOne adapter to refill little propane cylinders from a 20 pounder. Really cuts cost!
We mentioned that in the video and it does save on those little green bottles.
