What is the album?
@@nighteyes8830 I think his recorded version of this song is on the album Bad Benson. I prefer this live version for the solo!
@@PeterBurton1991 thanks for the reply! I'll check it out!
My absolute favorite guitarist. As a teen I bought every one of his albums. As an adult I bought an Ibanez GB40th, 40th Anniversary guitar. Only 40 of those were made and it's the best 6 string electric guitar in my collection.
There are so many great guitarists, masters, black belts - and one George Benson.
I just found out about this today. Very impressed. I didn't think it was possible to hear an electric guitar play a wonderful classic. I love it
You should try Wes Montgomery and Pat Metheny then 😉
Great version of what I consider to be the greatest and most famous jazz tunes of all time.
one of those videos you have to watch every so often to keep you sane
Indeed. You have to stand back from the stage for your own safety while he takes this into space.
I truly Agree
Gloria Clayton :
Still a vibe 2024 😊this music doesnt get old for me .just loves it ❤
Saw him twice in concert, Chicagoland area. 1981 and 82 !
These chromatic riff...the sound of the guitar and the feel...I'm 61 and still cannot blow a pentatonic like he did....amazing
Man, this is entertainment!♥
I was not prepared for that! Wow, total fire!
Awesome !! GEORGE left my mouth widely opened. Thanks George !
Wow! How is this possible? George Benson is SO good.
Brother Benson - Prince's inspiration. Nuff said!
This video is exactly why RUclips stands out in the social media landscape (soundscape?). There so many amazing (classic) performances that I have viewed on here. And this.., is definitely one. You can talk of and listen to someone like this but seeing.., do I really need to continue?
Agreed!!
Is your name a play off of Shakira’s album Oral Fixation? I agree with your statement by the way.
Absolutely gobsmacked! One of the greatest at the height of his powers. So glad I found this.
I got the entire Montreux (Switzerland) DVD as my birthday gift, years back; I kept it for several years, and still have it! George Benson has always been my favorite Jazz guitar player. The man is amazing! Da guitar!!!
Didnt know he recorded this classic. I forgot how beautiful his playing always was. 😃❤️🌸
14 years and holding strong for this video post. A true testament to the guitar mastery and genius of Mr. Benson. And kudos as always to Jazz Audrey for having great taste in music.✌🏻
