Some one untrained and unfamiliar with firearms wouldn't really notice, but if you've had even minimum competent training it's very noticeable. It's also very easy to train out, most people lose the flinch after a few minutes if they have it explained to them correctly. This guy is a bum.

The other thing no one talks about, and it’s true of both this and things like bump stocks, is this style of “fully-auto” is so incredibly impractical for combat. The Glock switch is so uncontrollable he can only get a half decent grouping at 5 feet, and bump stocks jerk the whole rifle back and forward. No one is using these as effective “assault weapons”. And the people that have things like Glock switches are generally LESS effective at hurting others than those without!
Why not have Jerry Miculek fire a mag full in semi-auto mode and compare speed and accuracy against the ATF expert's full auto run? That should put the issue in perspective!
