Charles Servedio Yank, this is NOT NORMAL, and the only thing this works on well is either ZOMMIES, like on Blowers, OR 632 CID engines that use 2.5 inch primaries. BOTH BBC heads I have done here USE 2.5 inch primaries, and ONE is blown.....
Wow Tony you can just about drive a semi through those exhaust ports. How would that JB Weld stack up on cast iron truck heads. Any suggestions for this problem? A lot of these south american truck heads nowadays have their inlet ports closed in with the inlet manifold cast as part of the head and twin diagonal inlet valves. The exhaust are also diagonal but at least have individual ports. Would just cleaning up bowl area of inlets be any value

Ive tapped JB weld on an Intake before. Still holding strong after 3 yrs of daily driving. This really IS the only thing I would use to hold tubes
