- Hey there, everyone! Great to have you back! Despite Islamic principles, portrait painting thrives in the Islamic world, especially evident in the stern gazes of Ottoman Sultans adorning the walls of the Istanbul Military Museum. Renowned Turkish artist Nevzat Cevik undertook the task, commissioned by the Turkish Armed Forces' General Staff, investing 18 months to meticulously study ancient miniatures, engravings, and manuscripts. His mission? To authentically capture the essence of the Ottoman Empire with his brush. Let's delve into some of his masterpieces, brought to life through the wonders of neural networks. It's an exhilarating journey. Stay tuned and enjoy the spectacle!

I love it when you make history 'come to life' this way. Amazing men they must have been.
This is incredible, I really enjoyed it ♥
This was absolutely incredible!!Loved it!
Imagine them coming back to life just to see their empire collapse
batının demokrasisinin çöküşünü gördüğümüz günlerde de sizin atalarınız dirilsin.
And seing the empire successor cuntry still following there dreams with NEO - OTTOMANISM
First they would pray for Atatürk for retaking İstanbul from British, then rebuilding the nation. Second, they would improve economy and education system, because the conquests in this age can only be economical and technological.
Artificial intelligence 🙄
Imagine them coming back to life to make other powers collapse 😂
woah ! This is perfect
Danke ❤
While this seems stunningly awesome to the ear, the historical authenticity can never be ascertained to the truest sense.👏
A similar series for all the Empires around the 🌏 would be highly appreciated. 🎉
❤absolutely superb to see especially after watching series
most of the comments are in english. (complementing this video). is there are an option to change the subtitles in english? i do not understand a single word turkish. 🙈
Auto translate to English does well
Wow amazing.
So cool
They all basically looked the same. 🤷🏻♀️
They all related to each other so of course they look alike!!
DNA baby
It actually has a reason. Majority of them never had their portraits because it was not really common for muslims back then. Only Mehmed 2 was original and bold enough to have his painting made (but interestingly his portrait in this video is not the accurate one. in the original portrait he looked very different.)so basically these paintings are made by painters who lived centuries after them and naturally it was up to their own imaginations and clearly they thought all ottoman sultans would look similiar 😅 we dont know how they actually looked like
They probably did back then!
@@mightygold6152absolutely kanuni sultan didn’t even look like this video showed so it’s just imagination by the AI I read some people want to see the same video about women what a laugh women were forbidden to even be looked at in the eyes by no one but their master the sultan and people in the harem
"Selim II" looked like a model apparently... I didn't know the Ottomans had a model as a Sultan 😂😅
By being the son of a Ukranian woman named Roxelana who was beautiful enough to be sold to the Sultan as a slave.
If you marry a beautiful Slavic woman, you are going to get handsome Slavic-looking men as sons.
Selim II is ancestor of Zelensky 😂
The child does not become beautiful just because the mother is beautiful. If the father is also handsome, the child becomes very beautiful. Also, Turkish men are much more handsome than Slavic men. Don't fool yourself...
@@nonnayerbusiness7704 slavic "man" 🤣🤣
Unfortunately he was a trash ruler and his mom was one of the imminent reason why ottoman started falling.
Great.Excellent.Perfect video.Thanks. From USA
This is astounding. But let's go all the way. Are they speaking in Ottoman Turkish and if so, could we see the text, also in Ottoman Turkish. I'm a researcher in Chinese medicine but the medicine of Islam, a vast field, begins to intrigue me.
Türkçe konuşuyorlar
No originally they were speaking Oghuz Turkish the modern nowadays Turkish is spoken because of the reformation of Mustafa Kemal Back then they were speaking another Turkish dialect and their writing were in Arabic nowadays the writing is like Latin again since Attaturk
This is not Ottoman Turkish but Modern Republic Turkish it was introduced during the 1920's , "Ottoman" Turkish was different , many words are found in modern Turkish , but the Phonetic was totally different , i just give you an example in english , the Phonetic was like poetry , "like you Honorable Man who came to my House asking me for Help , be sure God and everything under him especially me the Sultan and representative of God invited you to my table " rather than the Cold Modern Turkish , which is simplistic and pragmatic . "Ottoman" Turkish was one of the most Polite and senseful languages .
Yorumlarda turk bulduguma sevindim ilk defa bu kanalda türkler goruyorum. Cok nadirdi

The most popular princes in Ottoman history just two, Cem Sultan second son Sultan Fatih Mehmed II the Conqueror of Constantinope and Şehzade Mustafa prince of King Kanuni / Al-Qanuni Süleyman Han Hazretleri the Magnificent. I don't thought before that the title of Sultan Selim I is Khadimul Haramain Sharifain of Two Holy Cities Mecca and Medinah
Not muhhammed the conqueror, it's Mehmet the Conqueror, get it right

Through this video I could see that the Turkish DNA is pretty strong. More than 500 years have passed, and we can still track the physical similarities of those sultans in modern Turkish people, but we can't do the same regarding British or Portuguese Royalty to their citizens. Also, Turkish beauty seems to be ageless, because if you change those Sultan's outfit, they would easily merge with the modern crowd, different from King Henry VIII (England) or D. João VI (Portugal), that would stand out with their ancient "beauty".
Turks are mongrel breed, 55% Greek, some Albanian, East Turkic and Arab. Got to khirgyzstan that's the real Turkic people.
The mother of most Sultans was not Turkish. Also, what you see here is not their real appearance. We don't know the real appearance of most of them. They are just imaginary products drawn according to the information in the sources. For example, II. Selim is mentioned in the sources as Selim the Drunkard and Selim the Yellow. This is because she is blonde and fond of drinking.
@@Nostalgicholynowadays kyrgyz and kazakh people are usually mixed with mongolians they are not pure turkic either. Hazara turks usually has the most turkic dna
Devamı yok mu yada gelecek mi?
Can you this but for the woman of the ottoman empire
Won’t be accurate women were forbidden to be painted women were even forbidden to be look at by anyone but their master the sultan no stranger were allowed to look at them even in the eyes so what you see of women is just imagination by official westerners
Where are the rest?
please give English subtitle for understanding, Sukran.
Masya Allah, I like to see this❤ diantara mereka adalah para Sultan yang hebat dan membawa kemenangan panji Islam hingga ke Asia,Hijaz dan Eropa, sejarah akan selalu mengenang kehebatan mereka, semoga Allah mengampuni mereka, menerima amal jihad mereka dan menempatkan mereka ditempat terbaik disisi Nya
Next part?
This is entertaining but is so far from realty, Mehmed II has a portrait by Gentile Bellini and he looked nothing like that.
This video was nice but totally inaccurate nor Fati nor kanuni were looking like that both of the greatest sultan of the osmanli were painted by westerners and they were not looking like this video showed what a laugh this AI is
Would have made more sense if you added subtitles
I know they wrote in Arabic at that time and not modern European Turkish letters but did they speak Arabic between themselves and changed to Turkish gradually later ?
No, they always spoke Turkish, They were writing in Ottoman.
@@Ardalaepdahy25 oh The Perso-Arabic script? Thank You
The Point is "Ottoman" and modern Turkish are mostly based on Persian and Arabic terms , it just became something slightly different , an Arab or persian could figure out the words but not the combination and the words between , as a comparison , look at the Language of the People in Malta , it's a mix of Arabic , italian , Spanish and French .
please make it in English Version
Where's abdul hamid?
Can You please make a video of the indians languages from the Caribbean spoken.

His efforts ultimately came to naught
Can you bring their cheif consorts or queen mothers of ottoman empire into life with AI?
Won’t be accurate just imagination by the AI women were not allowed to be looked at only the sultan and people in the harem but westerns were not allowed to look at them they had to bow their head down in front of women
Çok güzel video ❤

As soon as I saw Osman I (R.A) - I knew this was a joke, Osman was a Darker featured man, that common "image" of Osman being a Blue eyed and Pale skinned lad from central Anatolia - at the height of Seljuk rule, is wrong.
If you want to know what Sultan's looked like then do some digging online
Thet's truth. All Sultans like each other as brother or twins.
Artificial intelligence, not bad🍻
May be coincidentally AI made them real as they were
I watched all the video with English translation subtitles just to hear what sultan Ibrahim says about his reign 😅

Why do all of them have similar faces?
All of these paintings are made by painters who lived centuries after them. During their lifetime they didn't have their actual portraits made. (Except Mehmet ii but his portrait in this video is not accurate either. In his original painting made by Gentile Bellini he looks much different than this) So this is actually not how they looked. Clearly painters who painted them thought they would look similiar to each other.
