- This rare interview happened in June 20, 2004 at Solstice Festival, when Amy Winehouse took the stage at the MTV Summercamp festival in the Haarlemmermeerse Bos in Hoofddorp, the Netherlands. The festival was a popular event that brought together some of the biggest names in music for a weekend of live performances and outdoor activities.
Amy Winehouse, a British singer-songwriter, rose to fame in the early 2000s. At the age of 20, in the year 2003, she released her debut album, "Frank," which received critical acclaim and commercial success. The album showcased Winehouse's unique blend of jazz, soul, and R&B, establishing her as a talented artist with a distinctive sound.
During her performance at the MTV Summercamp festival, she delivered a powerful and soulful set that showcased her incredible vocal range and magnetic stage presence. She performed several tracks from her debut album, including "Stronger Than Me," "Take the Box," and "In My Bed."

I've never seen Amy talk, ever. I grew up hearing her music, and then hearing of her death. Seeing this side of her, and that she's only 20 years old here... It just makes me so sad man. The fact that I had no idea what a humble person she was behind the music. She seems like the type of woman who lights up any room she walks into.
She was so special, so unique, talent oozing from every pore.
She was so humble. Her smile was the cutest! ❤

Wow I’m so glad I saw this interview because she said exactly what I always say about her, but I never heard it from her lips before now. She really modernised jazz music, I always feel other jazz artists try to recreate the sounds of 40s/50s whereas Amy reworked it to the present day. I always wondered if that was intentional from her, and now I know it was ❤
