Congrats on qualifying, Reynor! Also, thanks for taking the time to make this! Haven't gone through the whooe vid yet as it's late here, but really appreciate how informative you're being. Good luck!
I know you're busy practicing and performing in tournaments but any video where you and Harstem collaborate is always gold. Especially when you check the comments. Like the funniest old married couple. Also congrats!
It really gives it a whole new dimension to hear you explain your reasoning. I got a lot from it, especially from the Nice matches. Thank you for putting this time to explain, and good luck!
First of all, congrats on qualifying, we're all very happy you did! :D I saw the liquipedia page and I got extremely excited :D Way to go! On the technical side, I scrolled a bit in the comments, didn't see anyone saying it (sorry if I missed it), so here we go: you can split the audio of anything you'd like by using the "Application Audio Output Capture", then selecting the executables you usually use in one place, mostly game sound, I'd assume, then creating another where you use the music source, that way you have separate control over them. After this you go into OBS Settings>Streaming, check the main audio track (usually 1, you can also set a TWITCH VOD track, so you separate the two, aka remove music from vods, so you can publish them if you want) Now go to the Recording tab and check your RECORDING audio track (should be separate from your streaming track). For example if you set main track as 1, twitch vod as 2, set recording as 3. Now you go to your audio mixer in OBS and next to the three dots there's an "Advanced Audio Properties" section. Scroll to the right if needed until you see what track is each audio source assigned to. You uncheck the Music source from your recording/twitch vod (if you set it up) and that's it. As an example, it should be checked for track 1, unchecked for tracks 2 & 3, thus while you stream you'll have the music play through, but the VOD saved by twitch will not have music, neither the recording that you make. Hope this helped, good luck in GSL, I'm rooting for you
It's really cool to hear you break down your decision making process of why you do the things that you're doing! I'm always fumbling around in my games trying to decide what to do, so it's fascinating to hear responses and decisions mapped out like this
Amazing! Thanks for commentating over the replays so we can learn and take notes.. Good luck on the GSL my friend! I can't wait! Much love from Argentina!
Enjoyed the commentary, thank you Reynor. I have been a fan of you for years ever since seeing you and Serral go toe to toe when you were young. I am happy for you that you got a chance to play in GSL, good luck buddy :)
Looking forward to see you in GSL. The qualifiers must be tough, because we usually see the usual big names in GSL, but in the qualifiers there's probably dozens of nearly pro level players that you don't have a read on. Will be tuning in to GSL with peaked interest.
Thanks for sharing these games, GGs commentary was awesome, fun faci: this morning I wrote down and analyzed your G1 vs Bunny from replay even shared the build, only to then whatch this vid you saying your macro was not too tight :D. For my level it is good enough for some benchmarks, but good to see your thought process, through this VOD.
yo reynor, in OBS there is an option when you add a source called "Application Audio Capture (BETA)" or in Italian "Cattura audio applicazione (BETA)". It allows you to capture the audio of only starcraft
Awesome stuff. I saw all the zerg openings like million times on tournaments, but having someone to explain thoughts behind thing pro's do is lit. Keep it up!
Great content! More of this will be great! Also congrats on qualifying! Though I don't think anyone doubted you will make it, to be fair :D Now lets go and win that thing!
Congratulations! It will be interesting to see what the EU perspective is on the Korian scene, which I feel it is quite overvalued sometimes, I'm looking forward to seeing what results you're able to bring!
Westerners have participated in GSL already. To name a few, Scarlett, Special, etc. But most of credit GSL receives even to this day is due to its history and how historically Korea has dominated this game. A lot has changed though. The vast majority of top Korean pros have retired and the game is dead in Korea so it never generated new talents to replace the retirees. Now, the competition is pretty balanced between Korea and the rest of the world, but even then, that's a huge feat for Korea. We are desensitized to it since Korea has always been dominant in this game but Korea vs the rest of the world is still comparing a single country to the rest of the world.
@@Iseenoobpeoples You talk like someone who has only been following the scene for a brief moment. SC2 is extremely dead globally, but especially in Korea (ironically). I guess if you never had the chance to enjoy SC2 during its prime years, you wouldn't know what you're missing out on.
@@trstnhn I watched/played SC since 1998. Servers are LIVE we have casted tournaments and amazing players. The game is better than ever with all the patches and more advanced maps. The casual/new players left in mass because the game is far to advanced with a steep learning curve, It attracts almost exclusively hardcore gamers. I think you would enjoy LoL more, it has more viewers. SC2 is the best RTS today.
@@Iseenoobpeoples It is the best RTS. But it's esports scene is also dying in Korea. Can just look at the GSL ticket prices and sales. It's really sad to see. A few years ago, they could fill up an entire stadium for the finals. Now, they're just in a small studio.
"I wasnt playing too fast this game. As you can see". Yeah...Cant see anything, regarding the speed the screen switches. Keep it up! Youre my favourite player, im rooting for you
Been a fan for awhile now, i hope you win the gsl, would be the first foreigner. Late game the odd droplord could be fun but i know this tourny isnt for fun builds, glgl
I just want to say that I've been watching GSL for a good decade now and over the past two years it's been pretty boring... Not because of Artosis leaving but just the fact that it's shrinking, we always get the same players and I don't see the passion anymore. Season one of GSL this year just about as boring as GSL get's for me but having Raynor participate again really get's me excited. I really want to see you win the whole thing. You got this bro! Cheers from Dubai!
Imagine pulling your workers for an all in, it fails with no drone kills, and yet you can just try it again two more times? And it's still dangerous and can win you games against the top players in the world? The balance in this game is pure insanity.
Unrelated comment: I just wanted to thank you for making me laugh like an idiot in your game against Dark. You certainly "OutDark'd" him with that double Drone pull, lmao.
Eyooo, you are the best, trying to make the scene spicy. You know how the business works, and if you can mantain the consistency and stay motivated you can beat everyone except Serral 😊
I agree that late game favors toss, it started with the tempest acceleration buff. A very underrated buff. I think tempests even have a chance against BC now, but I have not confirmed that by seeing it in a game. Terran so rarely builds BC despite the fact that it's almost a win condition.
Reynor is so smart. Banelings really are useless. You can bury them against Terran and maybe get lucky, or use them when you get up like 2 bases and just want to trade inefficiently.
Congrats on qualifying, Reynor!
Also, thanks for taking the time to make this! Haven't gone through the whooe vid yet as it's late here, but really appreciate how informative you're being.

@AlarakndC omg dudes being pals the horror. Everyone must he as lonely as you
For sure great combo
@AlarakndC real question is, who tf are you?
@AlarakndC someone who's definitely more relevant than you. The world has evolved and you haven't, grow up or stf up
This was great. I love the relaxed style while you were breaking down your plays and thinking in each map.
Congratulations, and good luck.

Was super enjoyable to watch you cast Group A! You’ve got a new fan.
Loved your drone rush, it was fun watching Winter's cast of it. Hilarious stuff.
Even Dark was impressed. :)
@@ludisnemo887 I'm not sure "impressed" is the correct word. "Annoyed AF" might be more accurate LOL

Reynor I actually like it without game sounds or music sounds. Just your commentary is great! Good luck in the real GSL. Will be cheering for you.
congrats!! we knew you could do it
I was sad when I found out that GSL qualifiers don't get casted, but I was very happy when I heard about this video! Love the commentary! Thanks!
