I know it was sad to watch. I understand constructive criticism but I think it’s wrong for a grown ass woman to compete in a beauty pageant with a small child. My mom is the opposite. She is an amazing artist and went to the Illinois art institute. I’m a cake decorator yeah she gives me some tips and advice, however whenever I finish a cake she is always bragging to everyone and showing my cakes off and tell people that I’m 100x more talented than her. Which I do become embarrassed by and I tell everyone that no way I am as good as my mom. That why I appreciate my mom so much, bc I had such horrible self esteem growing up. I was bullied a lot, so my mom has always been my biggest cheerleader and has always supported. My heart hurts for this poor kid.
Ive seen a lot of moms on this show, pushy and means and jus downright awful, but this one was by far the worst. Sure she was supportive and encouraging at the start but she just kept knocking her daughter down instead of trying to build her up. And at the very end,you could tell that she was so happy to beat her daughter, she saw her daughter as the competition and not an ally, not as her child. She kept saying how her daughter wanted a big time and so did she so well see who wins, she didn't say she hoped they both got one, she didn't say she wanted her child to do better than her. No. Cherish was simply someone else to beat. And that is NOT what being a mother is about.
She doesn't even think her daughter has a shot? She could've at least said "you tried and that's what counts" or "you'll do better next time". How can you just up and say your own daughter has no shot or has no hope for winning the grand title? This lady needs to check herself one more time and I don't just mean in the mirror again for what's probably the 50th time. I think she was so tired when she was pregnant, she grabbed the wrong parenting book by mistake at Barnes and Noble. Get it together lady!

If anything you should be glad that you at least have her with you. But noo😡 instead you say that she did horrible. well most pageants have age divisions for all ages, so babies up through older adults compete..they have separate age groups. the problem is when they combine for supreme titles..they should not combine the adults with the kids for the supreme titles

Why would a mother ever do this to her child? She is competing against her daughter, gives her difficult costumes (for what seems to be on purpose), and steals the spotlight entirely. Not to mention that she is blaming the loss on Cherish when it had nothing to do with her and it was simply a costume malfunction. A mother should always be supportive of her daughter no matter what she is doing and what she places in a competition. She gets princess? You tell her she rocks that crown and she did the best she could under the circumstances. You NEVER say, to her face, that she did bad and she just lost Ultimate. Those words crush their heart. I've seen the fat, the ugly, the ghetto, the rich, the CRAZY, the supportive and really great role model moms who used this platform to help mold their daughters future......BUT THIS LADY is truly disturbed! She looks, smiles, talks and walks CREEPY! She is the type of parent that had children for all the WRONG reasons, and I PROMISE you that this little girl will carry and have emotional issues due these experiences! That was HEARTBREAKING!

My daughter competed in this arena many yrs and like other posters on here.....I've seen it all! I've seen the fat, the ugly, the ghetto, the rich, the CRAZY, the supportive and really great role model moms who used this platform to help mold their daughters future......BUT THIS LADY is truly disturbed! She looks, smiles, talks and walks CREEPY! She is the type of parent that had children for all the WRONG reasons, and I PROMISE you that this little girl will carry and have emotional issues due these experiences! That was HEARTBREAKING!
