Great unit for under $300. The biggest pro is the 4 volt preamp outputs which is almost unheard of at this price. I've had mine for two years and no problems 😊 so the quality there

What is the point of a carplay anyway you can do almost everything through the Bluetooth. You can mount your phone closer to the steering wheel. And get a control over music, phone call etc and by the way you have to connect your phone over cable anyway.. and wireless carplay cost another hundred bucks...

mainly for included navigation while you play with your phone. in the future more apps will be supported as well

You would download it from JVC and use a USB stick.

I got videos downloaded on a USB drive but when I plug it into the car it says no file and in the video you said plug your smartphone up and you pushed the thing that said iPod when I tried it it didn't work said disconnected

You likely have a USB stick that is too large or the video format is not supported by the unit.

Yes, you can use our mirroring kits but it will use the composite video input.
