looking to get a unit, seen almost all your presentations for the ones Im interested in, you are doing a great job and helping people decide cause you can see how objective you are. Was between Kenwood 8021 and 7722, Pioneer 77, JVC 785, my best choice was Alpine ilx705d but does not offer wireless Android Auto, but I now think I will go with this JVC 875 as it has all I want and also adjustable rear camera lines.
So this basically a Kenwood DMX8021, with extra features. Weirdly, it is (much) cheaper, depending of your country. Thank you for your review. I wish you could review rearview cameras and drive recorders in sometime too.
Possibly the biggest difference is the resistive and capacitive screens, and DAB. If consumers don't care, then JVC will have a price advantage.Besides, if I remember correctly, DMX series cannot play CD/DVD.
I've been using this one for a few months now and I have no complaints towards the head unit. Wireless carplay has been working flawlessly. My only complaint is the many JVC apps, how some work and others don't and some aren't available in all regions (no JVC portal app for me).
How to do you edit the name of the device on this system? I saw someone's name listed on the device list. How were you able to get that to show there please? Been trying to figure this out with no luck, any help is appreciated! Thanks
The on screen gestures make this standout over recent units. Good addition
yes, we also think that's a great feature 👍🏼
The two Hi-Res and Hi-Res Wireless seals catch my attention quite a bit, that convinces me to buy, thanks for the excellent description.

This doesn't play DVD/CDs either.@@zerolann
For a resistive screen it seems very responsive. Thanks for the review.
