It's heartening to hear that about half his children have left and even people who were in his inner circle, like scribes. Good for them!
Yes! I’m so glad to hear this
The only reason Naomi Jessop left is because he kicked her out.
The way Warren still has power is an interesting testament to how humans cling to these situations. Thank you for the update
I once heard that humans are the only animals that follow an unstable leader..
I think warren is a sociopath who is continuing to try and control his remaining followers. I’m sure he gets off on seeing how his followers will do whatever he tells them to do. I think he knows very well he is no prophet, and he’s always known that. It’s all about money, sex, and control. And now all he has left is control, so he’s going in hard to maintain that control. So sad for those who have been taken in by this.
I don't think he's crazy. I think he knows exactly what he's doing and he's evil. He knows he's not a prophet.
I totally agree, and that makes him a very evil person
Exactly
if he were sane, he ought to see how he is destroying the FLDS with his deranged nonsense. He seems to not care that most of his followers have left. A sane man would want to see his empire thrive.
I hope and pray someone will come forward to help these children.
I hope you guys are successful in acquiring that information. I really do.
As far as his wives, it may be something as simple as they don’t leave because if they do then what? They’ll leave with nothing. In today’s world that would not give them them much hope for a better life.
There are organisations that can help them now, including Holding Out Help. Many people have left the flds and they can have a good life afterwards.
As well, they have been taught their whole lives to not trust anyone outside of their congregation. That’s another form of entrapment that will stop them from reaching out for help.
U guys are doing such a great job - u are fighting against the absolute hardest thing - it is easier to fool people than it is to convince people they have been fooled. So great you are fighting the good fight to help these people.
Glad their group is shrinking. But sad those who are devout are possibly suffering increasingly.
Yuh, by 75%, 10,000 down to 2,500, but even those are now just living their own lives, certainly more so than before his arrest in SIN city, haha.
I’m in the madness camp… no one of sound mind would ever think marrying young, little girls is normal and healthy 😢 unfortunately his daughter Rachel is all too aware of his behavior he did horrible things to her 😢💔
When it comes to crazy, Warren doesn't need any assistance. Besides what he demonstrates is ego and narcissism full blown.
How can folks in Canada help?
There’s an FLDS group in British Columbia.
To be clear, not Lyle.I wish they would come get him but the cops know he's around somewhere.
I don't like calling something a cult, but there are red flags.
Whether you like it or not, doesn't change the fact that this group, is one of many actual cults out in the world that have manipulated, and hurt an astoundingly large amount of people and their families. Like, dislike, whatever. They on fact are a cult.
I feel so sorry for those girls being held in that compound in North Dakota
He’s in jail for illegal activity, surrounding young girls, and yet he’s in jail trying to coordinate so that he has access to young girls. This just doesn’t make any sense. He definitely is a psychopath. Why is he allowed to communicate with his followers?
Maybe freedom of speech? I’m lost as to how he has these freedoms too…
Honestly, as an ex member who still has sisters and nieces in the flds. It's better if they let him keep talking. Because if they hear about the talk and stuff coming straight from his mouth, I believe my sisters would leave with their kids
I have been here since you guys had maybe 200 subscribers, and I love watching you guys grow as content creators, with better set ups, cameras, and editing. Much love to you both
I also want to commend Sam for being more outspoken and more passionate and emotional he is about what is happening to his family and friends. I enjoy how he's being less guarded with how he really feels.
Aww thank you so much for being with us from the beginning! And thank you for the compliment ❤️
It's all about power.. he's crazy like a fox.. doesn't want to give up that intoxicating power... thanks for what you are doing.
Personally from what you are telling us : he’s evil, and knows it. What I can’t get my head around is that he’s basically saying that the crimes he committed that got him put in jail for life..are going to be re-enacted ‘when’ he gets out..Surely the authorities should be putting a stop to his revelations and communications? If a convicted murderer was saying he was “going to continue his killing when he got out..” I would hope that he would be stopped from communicating! I’m appalled and very worried about the young women being held in the north.. I pray that a safe way to help everyone who lives under this tyranny and fear. Much love to you both! ❤️❤️
It's scary to see how many women still believe in him. And I think he's a narcissist. Sometimes, they look crazy. But they're far from it. He's probably also a sociopath.
You can really hear the anger and incredulity in Sam’s voice near the end regarding how much Warren deceived and hid from his followers. I imagine part of that is also sadness and anger that some of y’all’s family is still there and still being deceived while they are just trying to be faithful. I hope for the best - for freedom, peace, and happiness - for everyone still involved with the FLDS. I left mainstream evangelical Christianity a few years ago because I could not rectify the God I knew with the behaviors of “Christians”. That was hard enough, and I can only imagine how much more difficult this would be. Thank you for all you both do; I’m so glad you can be such a help to those who need it.
He knows he's a pervert and a liar and he can also be crazy. Easy for both to be true.
I am so sorry the two of you are being exposed to the exact nature of his perversions. That is it's own trauma.
I think he is for sure at least a sociopath.
Still to watch the whole video, but the start poses the question 'whether he believed the theology or whether he was just crazy'.
The thing is, if he believed it, *then* he was definitely crazy.
The bigger question for me is whether he believed it (because he was crazy) or only *pretended* to believe it for control of others. In other words, crazy deluded man, or ruthless calculating psychopath/narcissist manipulating people for his own ends, without ever believing any of it.
Having just watched Pray and Obey, I'm not sure, but sway toward the latter. The clinching argument I think was the fact that when he was on the run, he was blowing $300k a week on strip clubs and extravagance. If he truly believed, he wouldn't have done that.
The doubts I have come from a couple of different things. For example, the old style clothing. It could be he just likes women to look that way and was creating the perfect partners, but it could suggest he really had a religious reason. Also, being brought up by his father, perhaps he himself was genuinely indoctrinated.
I would really love to hear an expert psychologist unpick all of this.
Your information is always so interesting and well presented. Thank you for sharing!
Thank you! 😊
I thought that you were going to say that the fbi dressed up as angels, and came over, and fed those girls!
Haha that would be something!
Trick or treat.
So Sad , I wonder how these women could be shown the brainwashing. Personal Beliefs are engrained ,and hard to break . He will drive these women crazy , like he is . Misery loves Company.
People can believe that they are a prophet and also be mentally ill.
Yes this is why people are able to be charged with a crime and plead not guilty by reason of diminished mental capacity (used to be insanity)
Well authorities did say he was having mental breakdowns. It's been in the news. Probably treated for mental illness, and in a psyche ward of the prison.
Why isn't someone from a higher authority who intervenes and ensures that he gets a ban on people not doing this anymore?
Because the religious right in the US defend this so they can justify their own Christo-fascist beliefs. If you stop Warren Jeffs, you also have to allow abortion and let gay people marry. If anything, Evangelicals who are powerful in politics actually admire Jeffs. They wish they could control young women too.
Sam & Melissa- Have you ever tried to gather those who were sent away or simply chose to leave to gather in Hillsdale and speak in numbers to those who are still "under his control"
I guess it's a good thing that the people are thinking that Warren is going mad, for whatever reason. Because that opens the door to no longer believing him. It doesn't matter if they think his madness is caused by the state. They recognise he's gone mad, that's the most important thing.
Saying he is crazy is an excuse for his behavior like he is not responsible for his actions. He is flat out evil. He’s well aware of what he’s doing.
Those who believe in the power of prayer, keep those still following Warren Jeffs in prayer for their eyes to be opened to the truth & for the courage to walk away. Those men, women, & children need saved, yet the only way they can be is for the true Father God to open their eyes and show them the truth for what it is.
Heartbreaking but great video! I have a great respect for how seriously you both take these topics as they can be difficult to discuss.
I think both are true. He has convinced himself - encouraged by those who cling to the notion - that he is what he says. That said, “crazy” isn’t informative. It’s a pejorative term for severe mental illness usually originating in childhood abuse. It’s used to create emotional distance from the person displaying alarming behavior.
It’s the power. He gains continued power by continuing to pull the strings even in jail.
With Warren, and I guess Rulon before him, having so many wives, was it immediately obvious which girls/women were wives? It seems like an overwhelming amount of people to memorize.
I just listened to a Mormon stories episode which was explaining what translated means. In respect to the Laurie Vallow murder case . Episode 1825 or 1826
It’s absolutely crazy to know there are young girls captive at a border and there’s so little that can be done! I’m on the other side of the world and it makes ME sick. Cannot even imagine what it’s like for you guys living there. Keep fighting
I joined a subreddit flds. I haven’t read all the post. But there are questions on there you maybe able to answer.
Thank you for letting us know!
I feel really bad for his followers, I can imagine how devastating it would be to come to the understanding that he is not a prophet but just a disgusting human being. And if you were a true follower and helped him in any of his twisted “ prophecies” it would make it so much worse. You’d be in therapy for the rest of your life.
Honestly he sounds just like someone (an RN) I know who had a mental breakdown from Meth use.
This sounds a lot like psychosis. Did he go through a psychiatric evaluation??
the one thing about human nature that has always baffled me is that human beings can get soooo twisted in their mind, sooo easily.
I feel like he’s got to be crazy at least to a point. The fact that he believes he’s going to get out and restart these heavenly sessions is insanity.
I would love for you to talk to Shelise Ann that has Cults to consciousnes (spelling?). She is also an ex mormon that talks to people from all walks of life about high controll groups and religions.
Y’all out here doing the good work!
Y'all said that half of his children have left without saying how many biological children he may have. What is the best guestimate?
His daughter Rachel in her book said around 65. I have a running list with 52 named children. There were rumors Marianne Jessop had a baby by Warren, so if that’s true, 53. There’s photos of two other child brides, Loretta Jane Barlow and Brenda Lei Fischer holding babies and Loretta is rumored to have had at least two babies, so that would be 56. We know for sure all the kids of his first six wives because several of the children of four of them have left. It gets less sure with his later wives. Part of the issue is that not all his wives were at YFZ, some wives and their children were in Short Creek or houses of hiding during the raid (including Loretta and presumably her children) so we have no names and birthdates for them the way we do for the kids who were taken during the raid or who were adults themselves at the time.
He has demons
He’s a narcissist Physcopath so was his father
Phycopathes thrive in politics as well
I’m newly subscribed from the UK and find your channel super interesting,
Thank you for your time in putting these vlogs together 👏🏼
Preaching evil on peacock is the documentary that tells about the "heavenly sessions "
There aren’t anymore prophets today. All prophecies have been prophesied in the scriptures and now there the fulfillments that are happening. So if anyone says they are a prophet they misunderstand the scriptures.
I think he has cosenguiniously caused mental health issues
I think the question of sincerity is interesting but doesn’t excuse harmful behavior.
Oh those poor people, following a madman. I so feel bad for folks still following Jeffs, what a cluster.
I never have my volume on when I am looking for videos to watch but when the video started playing small preview clip, I could see the passion and concern on Melissas face.
If he’s not a prophet or none of the past flds leaders were real prophets then that would bring into question if any flds men or young men have ever held any priesthood authority or authority to baptize.
I'd really like to hear your opinions about Lori Vallow and Chad Daybell.
This is such an important channel! Thank you for sharing 🙏
We live next door to Lyle's family. They are so nice. I feel bad for them.

Break the silence. Break the cycle.
Crazy like a fox?
Your videos are so important.
I have some questions for you!
Do FLDS think Joseph was reluctant to practice polygamy?
What do the FLDS think about mountain meadows massacre?
Thank you!
They can answer maybe better, but Joseph had to be threatened by an angel with a drawn sword when he refused to do it. It's in the history.
As for the massacre, in a report to Congress, Major Carleton blamed Mormon militiamen and church leaders for the massacre. Brigham Young excommunicated both Lee and Haight for their roles, but only Lee faced charges. After a first trial ended in a mistrial, Lee was convicted in 1877 and sentenced to death by firing squad.
I live in North Dakota close to the Canadian border do you think it would help if I reported this to the police?
I believe the police in ND are familiar with the situation. Thank you for being willing to help and feel free to report anything you feel could be helpful for law enforcement.
@@GrowingUpinPolygamythese are minor girls who have been sent there by their families(at warren's direction)? Or minors who have been reported missing by their families? Or both? Just looking for clarification, thanks!
If you see something, say something.
Parental rights come into play, but yuh, any evidence of crimes or kidnapped children must be reported.
Just bought some merch
Wow. Thank you so much! 😊
Thanks
Thank you so so much for your support!
This sounds just like the stuff Chad and Lori Daybell professed.
Hi, the two of you are absolutely amazing! I’m just so grateful to know lovely people still exist in this day and age.
Many thanks and massive appreciation 🫶
With kindness and respect, Grace🩰
