your dump ttrailer idea is very freaking smart. haul logs and brush and a lot cheaper than a good brand new bandit chipper, your just throwing brush in, then dumping it where ever. chippers are not awlays needed in tree work if you got the dump trailer. also could haul your dingo in the dump trailer, dirt, stump grinder and stump grindings. im very impressed actually.
That trailer isn't gonna be here long you keep treating her that way. Im pretty sure I mentioned this before, but you would benefit tremendously from a dump truck and chipper. I used to rent a bc 1000 for $225 a day. Seems like a lot but if you figure it in the price the amount of time and effort you save it is well worth it. Got to the point where I was renting a chipper($225)and a mini skid($175) and killing large removals by myself. All I had was my big dump truck at the time. I like them for certain things but they have their flaws. Thanks for the vidja
Corey if I can make a suggestion, there is a product you may be familiar with called Fluid Film. This will stop the rust on your trailer it comes in a spry or in a gallon can. It clings on and will transport itself across rust and corrosion. I buy it from my auto parts shop, it is also online. I now use it on everything metal. I use it on my hedge trimmers because it is lanolin oil not petroleum based and does not harm plants.

Yeah I just did the same thing this weekend with a 50' JLG T500 lift. Grouped all of my PITA (no drop-zone) jobs. Took out 5 trees (3 job sites) in a day. It would have been 2-1/2 long days in the saddle climbing and rigging otherwise. The trick is to rent on a Friday morning and you can have it for the weekend. Three days for the price of one!
Just a shout out to anyone climbing side jobs without a ground guy!!! Remember to ALWAYS keep your cell phone in your cargo pocket and be sure it’s charged!!!! Awesome Job HUMAN!!!!!

I have put enough logs in my gooseneck trailer (same one as yours) where it wouldn't even dump. I had to take my mini and unload about half of them to get it to dump. but then again the logs where sticking about 4 feet out the back and i had them stacked 3 feet above the sides
The good and the bad. Your techniques have advanced to where even I would hire you. Your editing skills are just killer, they moved the job along so smoothly it was so easy to follow your plan of attack for even new folks. Corey, you seldom comment, that's cool, but I'd like to honestly know, how many times did you climb that tree? (no need to say more.) ~MM

I always love the customers who ask you how your going to do it and then ask why you use a Stihl and not Husky or vice versa.... Then they want to show you their Poulon Electric Chainsaw and how good it is..... Then their neighbor stops by and wants to share stories about how their grandfather could climb with 5 saws tied on him and wants you to sharpen their saw before you leave..... Then all of them have this magic stump shit they our on the stump and it goes away in a week!
You oughta some 10 ply bias tires of that duramax, those things will stand up tall even when flat 😉 also wanted to suggest looking into the gas powered dump trailers. They got a little industrial Honda engine to run hydraulics instead of electric hydraulics. It’ll lift about 3k# more than the electric trailers and you get about 30 more dump cycles per day. It’s a game changer!
Get some rubberized undercoat for the bottom of the trailer, and cover the rest with bedliner or rhinoliner. Made all the difference with my landscaping trailers.
Few questions as a total neophyte looking to possibly get into this line of work: 1. When you mentioned having a boss, is he the guy that owns all of the equipment that you use? If so, other than working under his company name (and having access to the client base that comes with it and being fully insured etc), is the equipment ownership the main thing that separates someone like you from getting paid as much as a company owner would/ does? 2. Where does the wood usually go/ end up after you guys cut the tree up into pieces and haul it away? 3. How often do you get customers requesting that you let them keep the usable wood/ parts of the tree for firewood or for milling or related (and would you charge them less if they ask to keep the wood based on no longer having to dispose of as much or any of the wood in those cases)? 4. What does a job like the one in this video usually pay (rough range as far as the gross pay and then the money that you actually get to take home after all expenses are accounted for, like gas, equipment maintenance costs and paying for extra labor, etc)?
The pay for aborists is extreme as it one of the most high risk jobs. A company did some work near me and it cost the owner 3000 dollars the crew of 3 guys got 500 each and rest was for tax etc.

That's not coolant, it is water formed by the air conditioning system. When the air is humid, warm moist air touches the cold AC fittings and accumulator, and surface frost collects. When the frost melts, it forms a puddle of water exactly where you found it. Totally normal.

Hopefully it's not the case but when the duramax starts losing coolant and the reservoir stays full its usually a head gasket. Check your upper radiator hose and if it's hard after running it's a gasket. Good luck.
Propbably just need to replace your water pump as that type of leakage is consistent with coolant coming from the weep hole on the pump . As long as your water pump is engaged with the drive belt and not by the timing belt, it's a relatively cheap and quick repair.

@@Human1337 I would hope it's a good bit cheaper than the 201t. I seen you were having some problems with your 201. I read about getting the carb to reset... Was that coolant, or was that merely air conditioning condensation? It's rather surprising how much moisture an air conditioner can pull out of the air, and that water has to go somewhere.

So many videos you don't show the cleanup crew or yourself finishing up the jobs. I always wonder just what you had to go thru to get all those large pieces of would cleaned up. Do you proceed to cut them into smaller pieces or do you move them in large pieces? How do you cart them away? In your truck, trailer, multiple trailer trips, etc. Showing your crew doing their jobs would show you appreciate their work I think. Not trying to tell you how to do your awesome jobs, just trying to suggest some things that might help fill in some of the questions left open. Something along the line of letting it idle for 2 minutes and making 5 long cuts. I had bought mine 2nd hand and it took me a minutes of expeirimenting with that to get it right. I find that ethanol gas doesn't work well with them either.
Your weather is a good month ahead of ours we don't see the trees bloom like this till the end of May !
UV is bad for your tats too. Got the job done, nobody got hurt. A+ job, man!
Man I wish you were close to my state New Jersey. I got a oak tree it's over my house 5 ft thick 15 ft round at the base. And I need it removed. This is got to be the biggest tree I've ever seen
Corey, have you fixed the poor running issues with the 2511 yet? I had to send mine back to Echo and they fitted an updated primer bulb and a new carb. and tuned it all up. This cost me zero as it was all done under warranty.
Great video, liked you self rigging working solo.
Been rewatching some of your more intense vids, and reading the comments I've sent. Of course I've been hard on you, but I know you understand why. Corey, I've trained countless cats over almost 50 years, I can see talent a mile away. You have it. One thing I'll tell you, you're welcome to come out to my farm, have a bonfire, and pound some beverage ANYTIME. I would love to sit and discuss with you about our work! Please, ......safety.
Nicely dunn !!! Were did you buy your trailer at ??? So i know not were to go and buy one !!! OUT HUMAN
Look back in his videos a couple months ago and he goes through it all.
great video...that's alot of work to do by yourself...hope you get a break
Sure is
Are you tying a clove hitch with two ualf hitches?
Who is using all the tree pieces?? I know a guy in Canada, who makes all kind of thing in wood!! Great pictures, figures, masks, Viking-shield etc.
Was that coolant, or was that merely air conditioning condensation? It's rather surprising how much moisture an air conditioner can pull out of the air, and that water has to go somewhere.
You do a great job with the videos thanks have a great day be safe.
Damn dude that looks like such a pain without someone helping you rope the whole tree.... good job though love the videos!!
I think he does that for effect.
How do you get them huge chunks of wood in the trailer?
You make it look EZ ,do you sometimes feel like you're the Pied Piper Of TREES?
So many videos you don't show the cleanup crew or yourself finishing up the jobs. I always wonder just what you had to go thru to get all those large pieces of would cleaned up. Do you proceed to cut them into smaller pieces or do you move them in large pieces? How do you cart them away? In your truck, trailer, multiple trailer trips, etc. Showing your crew doing their jobs would show you appreciate their work I think. Not trying to tell you how to do your awesome jobs, just trying to suggest some things that might help fill in some of the questions left open. As my old college professor said 'if you have a question, chances are a few more also have that question'. And as I've said before, I really enjoy your videos and admire your work and dedication very much! Terry
How much would a job like that cost I have a tree that big or a little bigger kind of curious
If you every in Hazelwood and need to get ride of a load of wood schroeder sod is this the best place to there offers real cheap dump fees and they will unload you trailer for just 10 bucks
NICE VIDEO!
how do you make you bids and charge? i just started yard work along with some minor tree trimming and i'm lost and kinda feel like i'm getting screwed sometimes and charging to much other times
