In an attempt to radically alter the fast food industry, one Los Angeles based business is serving up healthy fast food at the same low cost as competitors like McDonald’s and Burger King.
The people at Everytable believe that healthy food isn’t a luxury product to be enjoyed by the most affluent, but rather, it is a human right that should be accessible to all.
So they came up with a radical business model that enables them to sell healthy fast food in low-income communities and food deserts. Their main strategy? Meals are priced differently based on the neighborhood in which they’re sold.

Should healthy food be cheaper than fast food?
Yes!
That's what this world need the most
Yeshhh :"
Yes
No, in theory it should not. Since it is healthier, it should be in more demand, and thus the price should be higher.
Vending machines serving healthy food, that's at twist that needs to go mainstream.
Absolutely!
They have one at my job but as you can imagine it’s pretty expensive
People need to cook most of their food at home. That's the twist you have to understand
@@easygo4568 dude I barely have time to sleep.
@@monkeyman321 and how much time you spent in RUclips, Instagram, WhatsApp and so on ?
These are the channels need to grow, not tik tokers.
Thanks!

Why’s everybody always coming for Tik Tok tho lol
@@talamuffy3094 I prefer YT also I can watch some Tik Tok videos on YT (also I'm using my lil bro Eli's tablet right now my account is Madison W)
Don’t worry tik tok will end soon left to be a bad memory.
Obi-wan Kenobi lets hope that’s true🤞
Wonderful to see a company like this that makes healthy food available for all and not just the affluent.
Absolutely! It shouldn't be a luxury food.
We need your company in the SF Bay Area!!!! This is a brilliant, affordable, healthy, educating idea!!!!
It's great to see how many people are interested in this all over the country; hopefully they keep expanding and get up there soon!
I hope this can go to Sacramento, New York, Columbus, Cincinnati, Albany Sanfransico and Much more world wide and in the US especialy!
This really needs to be for school's lunch programs!!! Think about it affordable, the students will eat it. At schools 95% of the lunches are thrown away because the food in their lunches taste awful. The food is very processed and unhealthy. Wasteing thousands of dollars, because food being thrown away instead of eating them. This program is is desperately needed for school lunches!!!
@@deverieandrade671 Good Idea! A school Program and a world wide resterant buisnesss
Bring it to Oregon!!
Honestly though. It’s such a struggle to eat healthy
Eating healthy would be so much more common if it was as cheap as fast food.
Those companies make you addicted to this unhealthy food with chemicals. They make you sick with this food and you say thank you and even give them Money for putting your health at risk. With this mindset you think twice about who you wanna give your earned Money. Healthy food and you care about yourself or those Money sharks. Please think about it.
It'd definitely help if it was cheaper - and the convenience is a big part of it, too. After work or when you're in a rush it can be a lot easier to find something unhealthy than something good for you. Having fast access to good, affordable food makes it a lot easier to get in the habit of eating right.
you just need a think and prepare / batch cook. Rice, spinach, salad, eggs, carrots, bananas, peas, broccoli, apples, oats ... Very cheap. Buy frozen or if not available, canned.
@@JohnSmith-dg3rd It's not the chemicals as much as the bad fats from fried foods and sugar that make most fast food unhealthy.
Maybe Everytable could go global one day... Btw love your videos!!!
That'd be awesome! Thanks so much, appreciate you watching and your kind words!
yeah, I can see it reach the streets of Bucharest one day fo' sho'
I almost cried while watching this, I have had an enlightenment about the food industry and how it has affected people's health in the beginning of industrial era even. I badly wanted to contribute into this kind of change and so seeing this manifested feels so right to me. I am so grateful and I hope we continue to support and help spread the word about them. They're working hard risking so many things just to try and catch up with the mainstream fast food. This will be worth it.
So glad it resonated with you! Thank you for spreading the word; there is still much work to be done, but by working together hopefully we can rise to this vital challenge!
@@freethink I agree, thank you soo much for introducing them to us. It's truly inspiring!
Freethink gives me hope for the future.
So glad to hear! We hope to inspire people to help make a better one. Thanks for watching!
This needs to become our future. I've been advocating for this so often. We need more companies who do this type of work.
Yes! The old paradigm is ending. Healthy options food should accessible to all. Thank you, Sam and Everytable
I am interested in knowing how sustainable their business model is. This is the type of innovation I would like to invest in.
to be honest, even if they ever struggle financially, they are likely to get widespread popular support anyways, so i don't really see them failing anytime soon, unless there is a food safety or food sourcing scandal, I suppose? but again, this is unlikely because safe and healthy food is their whole brand, right? would they ever risk that? ://
@@em-jd4do it depends on how you want to see them, as a McDonald rival, Multi Billion Dollar Restaurant chain or as a people welfare org.
Businesses not compromising with people's health struggle to survive. I hope they become very big, because their concept is very new.
VERY sustainable, the food is so high quality that the rich westsiders are down to buy a subscription. As long as they keep charging the west side up the ass then south LA can have their purchases subsidized. This is basically wealth redistribution but under a different mask that doesn't freak out the corporate millennial Hillary Clinton voting liberals in the west side
@@aayush_789 the business looks like it’s running along nicely. I have high hopes that they will grow and maybe even go international
Great job Everytable! Please come to Chicago, we need you guys here!
It's great to see how many people are interested in this all over the country; hopefully they keep expanding and get up there soon!
Ok, that apple fact about McDonald's is actually pretty scary.
I worked in burger king for couple days, the food honestly is disgusting
mcdonald pattys also don't even taste like proper meat, especially mcdonalds meat
The apple pies are probably horribly stuffed with sugar
And Ferrero is by far the largest purchaser of hazelnuts
@@niewazneniewazne1890 Its unhealthy but not disgusting, I worked in BK aswell. Burgers are really good for a affordable fast food even tho they are nowhere near handmades.
@@r3dp1ll my name is Andong?

Wholesome business that help the community! Wish Everytable all the best and be successful!
I don't know why but I'm so happy about that video. This is a great subject. I think everybody should have a healthy food. When I come to USA for the first time. I have lost my health. Pro tip: 'fast food' isn't cheap. Making it yourself is.
Imagine that people were waiting in line for 30mins at KFC only to order their food.
There are many retards...
You've never been poor have you..
you guys are so naive, not everyone has the time to cook or go shopping for food but it is a great investment if you have the time which most people do have
@@royisdabest I used to work 12-hour night shifts for 12 days straight. I had half an hour to make myself a lunch for every 2 days. That's all it takes. 30 mins a day. And most of that is spent on waiting for the food to heat up, so I could do something else in the meantime, eg have a shower.
Good in theory, but if you only have $5 and it takes $20 in ingredients? Never been broke before then?
You deserve more subscribers.
Thanks! Appreciate you being one of them :)
Yeah, I'm 66 and my husband is 72. We are buskers at farmers markets and we have lost a small dollar stipend but so much in good foods. We do our best to share the wealth with neighbors, we've all lost something
Inspiring to hear you sharing even with your struggles. Good luck and all the best
I am indian, we eat freshly prepared good every day. I really can't understand how America eats frozen food or outside food on daily basis.
It's viewed as more convenient and cost effective in terms of time, to eat commercial food.
Cooking at home is great, but it takes time to buy the food ingredients, prepare it, clean the kitchen, etc. If you count that time and the costs, commercial fast food is often cheaper.
The problem is not so much fast food, but that so much of fast food is unhealthy, such as fried, full of sugar and chemicals, etc.
That's why commercial food that's designed to be healthy is encouraging,
Cooking indian food 3 times a day is time consuming and cumbersome, the reason we're able to eat the way we do is bcz many people, especially mothers in our social context, take a back seat and dedicate their whole lives to just cooking. In developed nations both time and talent is valued and they don't waste it for long spans of time, or so it seems to me as an observer.
This channel man! It’s amazing. I love it. Keep up the fantastic work.

I love it! I'm not going into the office these days but when I was, I'd walk through dozens of shops and not find anything semi-healthy-ish to buy. And when you do it costs 3x and is on the cusp of the best before date...
How you tackle the plastic waste from your single use packaging?
Hugh problem
Could use bioplastics made from plants, for example, or paper lined with bioplastics.
@@ratsword200 It's a good idea, but may not be ok from a food safety point of view. The restaurant would not be able to know if the container was sanitary and clean enough for food use. Otherwise it's a good idea.
Your production quality and edits are next level. Liked it
Fantastic story of the right way working for all.
Yeah, it's always great to see that happen! Thanks for watching!
Would be even beter if McDonald's didn't have contracts with the government to keep it the biggest ff dump.

Honestly really clever approach to fastfood.
And I mean pure optimization, being healthy is just an extra here.
Oh man I'd love to have a fast food chain that serves you like a really healthy meal like chicken rice and broccoli on a plate without it looking cheap and full of bacteria.
Yep that would be good. We have it here, but it costs 7 times as much compared to cooking it yourself. So i will stick to home cooking. Cooking chicken rice and broccoli doesn't take a lot of work anyway.
@@Bertuzz84 It's actually cheaper (than home cooked) if done commercially in central kitchens on a large scale (if you count your time, shopping, etc.).
Bacteria is literally healthier than rice which will spike your insulin through the roof!
I get local Chinese take out because it's one of the freshest places in town. A good sushi place can have some great dishes but $$$
Why did I just watch a 6 minute ad volutarily?
Every place of the world needs this.
I hope that this will work and spread to other countries

Great Job people of 'Everytable'!! Thank You, and keep it up.
The folks working at Everytable in Compton are shooper nice. Love that spot. God bless 🙏
When people reach the peek in their business and if they do not diversify from time to time specially food they die their own death. This is a success story and wish you the best ! 👍
It's about Time! The world needs this! Kudos for Everytable!
Please come and open up in North Philly! We need things like this!
This needs to go world wide and fast. Energy, food, health, shelter, education sould be financially available for every human being. Imagine if this was true. The changes in mankind would be amazingly beautiful.
This was so good to watch! It made me hopeful for healthy, fresh, quality, and affordable on-the-go meals. Idk how this CEO is going to make this a global initiative bc there are areas where fast food rules. I have been waiting for a restaurant to knock McDonald's down a peg.
Something like this was my company idea since 10 years, good job
When are you guys coming to Washington State? We could use something like this. I stopped eating at McD's a long time ago.

This made me so happy it brought a tear to my eye. Fantastic!!!
was waiting for this...so glad dato see it happen
Hopefully it comes to OC in the next year
That'd be great!
do they source their ingredients as locally as possible? that would be truly revolutionary. support local farmers!
since the pandemic started they closed down all the salad bars in grocery stores but if I buy all the salad material myself I can only eat like maybe 2 salads before the lettuce rots or mushrooms turn to soggy mush, and same with fresh fruit cherries and strawberries they rot so fast so now I freeze them , the cherries I take out the pit before freezing because the pit has arsenic in it, but frozen cherries are delicious and they never rot!
All I can say is WOW 😳
Glad you liked it!
They say ,what you eat will decide how you think .
Well done people .
Good for the people, community, country ,humanity and the whole world .
Absolutely brilliant ,we need to add word like colourful fresh ,natural ,no chemical,it's not just money .
Wow.... I thought this video was probably from before the pandemic. I am shocked that this is even possible nowadays. Thank you for giving me hope.
This is amazing, I can see the 37k stores vision becoming a reality
This would be so nice to have in Toronto :)
It's great to see how many people are interested in this; hopefully they keep expanding and get up there soon!
God will bless you for what you and your employees did for people in the worst times.
Really hope this can become the next big thing in the restaurant industry
The hurdle they need to overcome to really compete with Fast Food is accessibility. Fast Food is available everywhere and almost 24/7. It's very hard to compete with that with "healthy" "fresh" food.... Healthy food has a short self life....
I wish this would come to the northeast! Here in southern maine and down to boston fruit and acai bowls and breakfast bowls and even sandwich places are really successful. People would love quick good healthy food. I would say creqting this as a drive through would work best in more areas over here. Could hire a small crew and have digital menus that also have the quantity in stock. Or maybe partner with places like aroma joes or dunkin donuts.
That is so brilliant and so obvious but nobody ever tackled that problem
That's a Beasty company that chosen to figth against one of the worst health alterations problem! Love your minding and the flexibility you chose to put into. Great mindset, great goal and surly great human being's!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wow! This is wonderful!
Glad you liked it, thanks for watching!
This is a concept that I would love to see spread nationwide
Brilliant and well done, ET! Bring it home! 😊
It is about what customers are willing to pay for. I dont eat at the big "fast" food restaurant chains. I only tried them a couple of times. They are slower, more expensive and unhealthier than other alternatives.
It's great but Idk how I feel about the different pricing thing. I live on campus in a wealthy neighbourhood in Chicago but I'm not wealthy and can't afford a $9 meal....
Healthy food is a human right...like what!!
This is awesome, very motivating.
I do believe this company is a great influence. I do believe it should be in Austin Texas and Buda Texas
I'm starting to tear up watching this. There is hope for humanity.
I want an Every Table here in Northwest Florida, in Pensacola, or near Hurlburt Air Force base (who is ALWAYS encouraging healthy eating)...
this is positive to wake up and see
I'm not surprised this video does not have more views. The elites does not promote this kind of stuff, they want the people dumb and unhealthy. But I do hope that demand will make them even more successful even if mainstream media does not show this.
