This song got many awards in China. Look on wikipedia. Adagio and give me your love tonite 2021 he composed in 2019 is upbeat and fun. The one from his digital show 2021 on his channel. Is great.
His concerts last over 3 hours of just singing and jumping around those vast stages, and after two odd hours he asks the audience whether they aren't tired that he has a lot of energy and he could do another 5 concerts right off!!

I really enjoy your reactions to Dimash and your open-mindedness towards him, his culture, the various languages in which he sings. Thank you!! If you liked the traditional songs like "Samaltau" then you might also like his interpretation of "Adai and Daididau" (performed in 2017). Both of these pieces are traditional Kazakh. Adai is played on a traditional Kazakh instrument that Dimash can play as well. Daididau is so beautifully interpreted by him.... If you look closely he actually has technical difficulties because his earphones didn't work, but he managed to still perform perfectly fine without the audience noticing much about those background problems!! Once more evidence of Dimash's professionality!
My fav Dimash performance! His conveying the emotion of this song is surpassed in impressiveness by the fact that this was his first foray into singing Chinese, and he learned it in a week! 🤯
Hello, for me it is one of my favorite interpretations of Dimash, it is very emotional, and it has that ability to make you cry, to reach your soul. It is not his own, but it lives up to the original song. Greetings from Chile

Love your reactions and respect of Dimash. There is an extended version of this performance..it includes the fact that he LOST HIS VOICE the day before and of this performance. A trip to ER and Injections in the throat (WHAT!?!?) enabled him to sing and lose his voice again shortly afterwards. I guess it's true, "The Show Must Go On"! Look this up with Eng subtitles.. he talks about being more concerned that the audience understands him than how 'well he sings'.

I love this version for the emotion he shares in it but also as this was his first time singing a chinese song (a language he didn't speak), to a chinese audience (who all 500 are the judges!!) in a singing competition!! This is one of my favorite songs sung by Dimash. It was probably the best moment of the concert I attended. It made my heart shiver.
Dimash did sing a song he wrote ( at age 19 ) on the show I am singer in 2017 . The song is called Unforgettable Day .
This is my favorite performance of his of this song - because it is a song written by a Chinese person, sung in Chinese, and in front of a Chinese audience. The story of the Japanese actress living in China under a Chinese name and then getting deported after that was discovered at the close of WWII is so sad and he conveys this sadness so very well.
That is an old song that he was singing in Chinese when he only learned two days before the performance. You must watch the backstory to the song and it's explained by Gloria Wu

Dimash was so brave to sing in Chinese (mandarin) a language he had to recite and learn the pronunciation in a week!! the audience loved his performance because they felt dimash's feeling, he really appreciated their love and wanted to gift them a song in their language and they repaid him even more love. ah the bond he created between himself and the Chinese people. what a star!

Another reactor that spoke Mandarin said Dimash spoke perfect Mandarian which Dimash learned in one week. The reactor was so intense on Dimashs performance he even forgot Dimash was not a native speaker and even the emotions were right on target. Dimash is phenomenal.

This was the first time Dimash sung in Chinese. He learned the song in a week. He was very worried about his accent but he pulled this off and spoke perfectly.

Great Reaction! This is one of my favorite Dimash songs. The original sung by Kōji Tamaki is actually my favorite since you can feel the pain transmitted. There is actually a Dimash version of this song in Gloria Wu’s channel with the backstory which you will get a better understanding about the songs origin and how difficult it was for Dimash to perform given he only had one week to lean it in Mandarin. Also listen to the Kōji Tamaki versión called Akanaide for a comparison. Again great Reaction!
There both have different lyrics and meaning, and so are the deliverances. The only thing they share is the composition. If Autumn Strong is about saying farewell (to public), Ikkanaide (Tamaki) is about being left behind (by someone, more personal). As such Autumn Strong can’t be performed as devastatingly painful as Ikkanaide, but rather more of a bittersweet. I hope that makes senses.
Completely makes sense sinse both songs were inspired by the story of Yoshiko Yamaguchi. So in the Dimash version is she saying farewell to her past life in China where as in Akkanaide is more a lament of separation of someone who left her. Sorry I only know what I have read about Yoshiko from her bio. All I know is that when she was deported from China she was devastated.
@@vladimiribanez2772 yes, but for the Japanese (original) version, it’s rather from the point of view of the one who is being left. In this case, her lover or her husband. Which is why it feels sadder (more painful) because he was singing for her. Ikanaide means ‘don’t go’.

@kevin Lee! I see. I learned something new today. Many people do not know the song Autumn Strong has a backstory. I was lucky to have run into to the version on Gloria Wu’s channel. I had seen an old war movie with my wife called “House of Bamboo” in which Yoshiko Yamaguchi aka Shirley Yamaguchi was one of the lead stars. So the song made me research a little bit more about her past. Both versions are great and maybe someday we will get to see both Dimash and Kōji Tamaki perform it together. Thanks again.

This is a cover of a song very dear to the Chinese people, which was actually originally written in Japanese (original song title Ikanaide) in 1989. It is a tribute to a famous Chinese actress from the 1940s who was beloved by all. When it was found out she had some Japanese heritage, even though she grew up in China, the Chinese government deported her to Japan. It is a truly heartbreaking story. Check out the Gloria Wu translated version of this video, which gives a bit of background. I heard, however, at some point the actress was allowed to eventually come back to China, but I must research how long ago (or recent) that was. Also check out the original composer/singer's, Koji Tamaki, version of Ikanaide. Even more gut-wrenching!!

Apart from being a quite meaningful song, with a real story behind, it's the first time Dimash had to learn a whole song in Chinesse language, knowing nothing about it previously. And yes, it's said, his girlfriend for years left him once he stayed in China for this contest, and she married another man. There's a song he wrote and sang to her, he only performed it once, LIVE, in one of his concerts, and he'd never played it again in life. OKINISH 👇🏽
