Dimash has a superb stage presence with every performance. When you combine that with his unmatched vocals you get an unbeatable combination. And he was singing this song in the Mandarin language he could not yet speak fluently. Incredible!

A singer enters a foreign country speaking zero words of the language and able to connect to his audience with a cultural classic. That’s Dimash. This song is too often ignored by the average reactor because it lacks the fireworks of some of his other work. But the true vocalists hear the magic.
I’ve heard this sing hundreds of time over the last 2 years and it makes my throat tight and eyes burn. Every time. Credit to the writer of the lyrics and the composer of the song. But I’ve heard the original and it’s not this.
This song is beautiful,one of my favourites of Dimash.It's very sad end emotional and his performance his absolutely amazing,i cry everytime i listen to it.Please,listen "Daididau",Bastau concert,it's a song of his Land, it's of an indescribable beauty and his performance in this concert is too touching

I suggest you watch the Gloria Wu channel version of "The Story Behind Autumn Strong". Then react to his Arnau Concert version in Kiev March 2020. You will then realized that Dimash is the best Story-teller as well as the best singer in the world. Of course you could push the boat out and react to from the same concert "Marigolds" which he dedicated to his Mother who was in the audience. 😊🏴👍
"Amish boy" singing in Mandarin Chinese (for the first time in his life). It's a Diamond! Here we are not dealing with Dimasha's whistle note, but with a head voice, on which he still does coloratura. His whistle is G7, D8 (with "Unforgettable Day" z Gakku concert). Hugs for a beautiful reaction.

This was his first song in Chinese and he was so worried that he would not be understood, and it was a song based on a true story. He has since gone on to win prizes for this song and it is one of his staples in his concerts, much loved and sung along with the audience. I particularly love this version because of this gorgeous breathy, soft tone of his that feels like he's wrapped you in warm, ultra soft cotton-wool.

This song is based on the true story of a Japanese woman who went to China as an actress during World War II. She became very popular, loved by many, and had a successful career for several years. However, after the war her true identity was discovered and she was deported back to Japan, losing everything - career, friends, fortune, everything that mattered to her. The song, written by a Japanese composer, is this woman saying goodbye to someone she loves. There is another video of this performance that includes the backstory with her pictures, name and the name of composer.

Yes Soul, he is singing in Mandarin, which he does not speak. Do you have any idea how hard it is to learn a song in Mandarin just phonetically? He wanted to please his Chinese audience who had welcomed him so warmly. This is about a well known and loved Japanese actress who lived in China, people thought she was Chinese, but after the war, they found out she was Japanese and made her leave China. She never returned. You will find the story and some footage of this on Gloria Wu’s channel under Autumn Strong.
