☆Absolutely mind blowing, as a proud 80's late teenager i'm absolutely loving this new generation of Synthesis, Retro Wave 80's influenced masterpieces. I truly feel for those of you that feel you were born in the wrong generation, unfortunately technology & social media/reality TV have driven humans back to the stone ages. The love in these comments & appreciation for real music is truly inspiring & humbling, music bonds us all together no matter if we're born in the 60's/70's/80's/90's or 2000's.
We all bleed the same, cry the same and feel these grooves the same! To be honest I recently lost hope with the main stream music of today BUT i've found a new beginning within the underground tunes of tomorrow. WOW WOW & WOW! There's actually light at the end of the tunnel after all, Cheers & one love all!☆

Being a teenager in the 80's was like.....
-knowing there were big possibilities out there, without the jaded feeling of waiting to get ripped off.
-feeling there was a common culture in clothes, movies and music even though there were so many different ideas to choose from, so one day you were a new waver, another a punk rocker or both mixed in with rap music which was just beginning.
-sensing a slower pace to things because there was no instant way of communicating except by picking up the phone and hearing a voice on the other end...there's something to recognizing a certain girl's voice on the other side as she says "hello?"
and then just talking for an hour with long silences between topics. There weren't distractions in communicating with others.
-irony was an occasional way of expression, not a way of living.
    -there was Fun!

So now you know, techs like mobiles, internet or social medias doesn't changed the fact, the best days were back then. We were so hopeful in the 80's, something must have affected the normal course of our future. Which shift us on a wrong timeline.
Otherwise, you wouldn't feel the way you do when the waves of alternate nostalgic songs taps in the deep layers of our subconscious.
You're not alone, it does that to all of us. I mean, it's like waking up realizing we're living in a miserable bubble. Our future was suppose to be great, not stressful as it is, so what went wrong?
The feeling you had is called hope, good synthwave songs are not made to make profits, it's our last attempt to hold on that hope, of bringing back better days.

This deep wish to be there again is so strong... Why, just why there can't be a time machine :(

Gloria got me through last year's end semester exams. I am tearing up after realizing another year went by and I did somehow survive college. I miss my ex so much listening to this. I drove her through the night bumping this the night it ended. Thank you, The Midnight.

Being a 80s baby love this vibe and man how I just wish I could back into time & start all over when earth was cleaner to breath drugs where more recreational just to party everything was more pure in just innocents and hope of such endless possibilities unlike now it's just everyone for themselves nobody cares anymore to hear what people have to say it's a mere reminder how people are only about themselves how to get ahead conspiracy theories and politics oh wait that's been going on for decades but not so much in the 80s90s so much but bottomline it brings me back to when I was a kid & oh I wish my kids could grow up in are time of old school fun get. Home before dark without no worries of weirdos kidnappings yo ass it's crazy how the world changes seems like it just gets worse as time goes on but we will always have music to bring us back to those good pure memories of what was then ...yall be safe☆♡☆ love & light☆☆

I thought I recognised something familiar, and then it struck me that the chorus has the same notes as Days of Summer by Don Henly playing int he background. They're almost inaudible, but they're there. Might not be the same scale, but the intervals are certainly the same.

The 80´s as a kid was listening to Rod Stewart, Brian Adams, Madonna, and the 90´s started with a lot of hopes and expectation of a new century coming, the computers just evolved so fast, 8086, 286, 386, 486, Pentium, Napster, eDonkey, McAffe antivirus, DiskDoctor, 100 mb, 250 mb, 500mb, all was too fast, Rap, Euro Dance, but the sense of music was never like the 80´s probably because I lived on a caribbean island, and watching the sunset throught the windows while listening this music was exactly like you can see on Lofis youtube art channels lofi girl lofi hiphop etc..
