I am astonished to see how far you get the those stock axles and big wheels. Good Driving I guess.. Looking at this video made me realize perhaps I should go for either Revolving missing link shacles or just normal missing links on mine.
They have their limits, but this whole setup works very well. In fact, these are the first real breaks I've had, and I've don't the Rubicon 7 times in the vehicle.
Yeah still the 1.3! Power steering is the Trail Tough kit with CT style pump and tracker steering box tapped for hydraulic assist. There is a vide on it in my Samurai Playlist 🤙🏻
Yeah, that's a good way to describe them. They're pretty popular in the Samurai world. I put this kit together myself, which is probably a huge contributor to the failure.
Hey Kylee, love your videos I’ve been watching you for a while. I’m also in the process of rebuilding my own Suzuki samurai from the ground up wanted to give you a little bit of my own suggestions I think that you should upgrade your transfer case mount to Dr. Z HD transfer case Mount and also I’m sorry about what happened with your rock sliders but I feel like the low range rock sliders are more for look as they don’t even attached to the frame and you can see the damaged that it caused to your vehicle
I totally agree, I was supposed to tie those sliders into the frame, which would've prevented the damage, but that's okay. I ordered some solid mounts for the tcase cradle and the frame mount from Dr. Z! 🤘🏻
It's really fun to be able to walk through the rocks, greetings from Indonesia to all my friends there, I love the Suzuki Samurai too
Best thing to do with a Samurai!
finally got time to watch this one. even with all the breaks still looks like you had tons of fun :)
Yeah it was a blast for sure!
This looks like so much fun, I want to drive the Rubicon one day.
@@RetroA1Mbot it's awesome! Best trail

Also the axles are built with lots of gussets, trusses and chromoly shafts
.. be gentle on it doesn't hurt either!
that rig at 1:03 is a late model samurai or did he change out the leaf spring suspension?
He changed out the suspension
Who drives the Zuk that appears at 1:50? I have a few questions.
@J_craw151 on Instagram. Walkaround video on his rig next weekend
I’d like to know how many of the Samurais are still running a stock manual steering box?
Not many. When I was on 31s with a front locker is was a hell of a task!
What power steering set up do you run and are you still rocking the 1.3?
Yeah still the 1.3! Power steering is the Trail Tough kit with CT style pump and tracker steering box tapped for hydraulic assist. There is a vide on it in my Samurai Playlist 🤙🏻
Those Sami's just eat that trail up... Really good adventure
It's a lot of fun!
Are those like reverse revolver shackles on the front?
Yeah, that's a good way to describe them. They're pretty popular in the Samurai world. I put this kit together myself, which is probably a huge contributor to the failure.
Only the body of the original part on the Suzuki?
Pretty much all original on mine. Steering box is from a tracker, but that's about it.
Well I wish I was closer to you. I would buy them sliders of you. Awesome video.
Good for most stuff, just not hard hits
Yup time to upgrade a bunch of stuff. Great video dude
Thanks homie!
I’m getting pumped for Zunicon‘24!
Me too. I hope my swap is done
What is the most popular diesel conversion
And least popular diesel…?
That's a great question. I have no idea. I know a lot of people swap in VW engines.... not sure which ones though
Looks like you had a great time editing all of the footage
😵💫
Good job recording. You got some good shots
Hi , What roll cage do you have?
I'm not sure, I think it was a homemade one.
Thanks

love to make it to this event someday
You've got to do it. It's amazing.
What is Zukicon?
A bunch of Suzukis going through the Rubicon trail together.
Good vid. Time to ditch the missing links.
Agreed
Cant wait for the axle swap!
Me either dude!
Looks like you had a great trip. So sad I missed it. Cant wait to see the samurai build come together with the full size axles.
Thanks man, hopefully it will be ready for the next one!
