Holycow! Thanks for posting this. I had thought I might try it in my Tracker, but after watching this, I know I'm not even close to being ready for Zukicon!
Tommy, glad to see you liked it. Thanks again for all.your help with spotting and making sure we got to camp. Didn't record any of that because we were busy living it.
@@trashpandaoffroad3548 time & money. I sure don’t have enough of either one. One more thing……the people that do the “you need that” to me it’s like NO SHIT !!! Wish money grew on trees too.
That was some really good footage, very well done and way to represent for us ifs guys. I bet you wish you had the trash panda for some of that. Was it a little worse than expected?
I definitely took the wrong rig. I had no idea the trail was a giant rock garden. Alot of people I have talked to about the trip also have no idea what its really like.
It’s opened my eyes 👀 ! It’s on my bucket list but I think I need a few more upgrades. I’d like to drive my samurai from Mississippi there and back. I’ve had it on a trailer to Cabo San Lucas, flat towed to King of the Hammers, and the ultimate road trip in a samurai would be to Alaska.
I think you have messed with a 2.0L. I put one in my 87 samurai that is knocking real bad. I just picked up a 2.3 out of a Suzuki Aerio. I know I need to swap to my 2.0 intake. What I don’t know about is the fuel rails. Would you happen to know witch rail I should use ?
I do not. If you find out what stuff you need to keep please let me know. I have a bad 2.0 that I want to junk but I dont want to toss anything useful.
@@trashpandaoffroad3548 I can tell you the intake intake the 2.0 needs to go on the 2.3 (mass air flow sensor is the reason). Some say change the oil pan but I can’t see why. Trail tough did my samurai wiring harness to the 2.0 and no changes needed there. The fuel rail is my only unanswered question at this time. The 2.0 is 130(+/-) hp The 2.3 is 150(+/-) hp Might as well go with the 2.3
Que pasa panda gd video i have a 1996 automatic 4x4 i build my old school style hook up the engine a bit on 30 x 15 tires and wheels no lifte at all light weight took everything out from back seat to rug and everything else but he have to a Delta cam 272 a monster amigo on highway streets snow rain mud trails and he can crowd like a spider up hill jjjj 😎😁 latin flavor with bacon grease jjjjjj and he sounds like a v8 old school style ford nice and tide
1994 Geo Tracker, 2.0 swap. 2" body & 2" spacer lift. 33" tires, skid plate and A arm armor. Factory roof rack w/silverwing RTT. Trail Tough front bumper w/warn 9.5 winch. I think that's the important stuff. There is an older walk around of the rig on the channel and also a write up in January issue of Fourwheeler magazine. Those are both old though.
Thanks for the support. Sorry about the add placement. I understand how you feel. I watched a bleeping jeep video this morning and it seemed like it had 15 breaks in the darn thing. There really isn't anything we can do about that. Hopefully you will try again or some other video
Cool seeing your tracker go through the trail! Thanks for the shout out 🤘🏻
Nice to meet you in person after seeing you on my computer. Hopefully next year I will have more free time to relax and hang out.
@@trashpandaoffroad3548 I hope so! Nice meeting you too 🤙🏻

I think I want to try again in an IFS rig but it will be an automatic with transfer case gears. This was definitely a learning experience.
I thought you said you have to drive it home. You were really MONSTER TRUCKING IT. 🤩🤩😮
Luckily at the end of the trip I got family to come down and tow me home.
Thank for the video bro. Looks like fun trail.
It was so much fun.
Great Video, Great Trail, New Friends, and from where I was you get driver of the day.

Great video!
Thanks. It was a great trip.
Fyi, I still go back and watch the old intro from time to time.
I still have it saved on my phone.
You need some of the 3:1 gears in that thing. Crawling is not terribly easy with stock low range.
I agree. I have a set of gears for it but I didn't get them installed in time.

Buen vídeo, amigo porfavor el.link dónde compro el porta maletas, las bases del techo del Geo tracker, soy de Costa Rica 🇨🇷👌🙂
Buen dia, ojo en los grupos de vitaras de Ecuador.
That aluminum chasis is taking a beaten.
I even bent the body around the mounts. It was a rough day.

@@trashpandaoffroad3548 that's actually the way it was described to me, a 20 mile rock field.
Wish someone had told me that. Oh well. I will be more prepared next time.

My wife and daughter have done the Alcan hwy to Fairbanks and back in her X-90. They say it was a great adventure but didn't have time to enjoy it.
Bro that looked suuuuuper bumpy! But the tracker was handling really well! Sorry about the radiator 🤦🏼♂️🤦🏼♂️🤦🏼♂️ aloha from Hawaii
It did Ok. I wish now that I would have take my other rig.

So your electric fan got pushed into the radiator and the fan took a bite out of it?
Ya. The radiator came out of the lower mounts and smashed forward. I have a pusher fan so it got crushed into the radiator.

What’s the build specs for that rig?

@@trashpandaoffroad3548 how are the 33s fitting? I assume they rub on the frame a bit. How is the body clearance with your lift?
I had to do some fender trimming in the front and it still rubs a little offroad.
Difficult way for Geo-tracker and Stock Samurai !
Yes but still a great time.
This is painful to watch, you need 4.2 t-case gears….
Ya, this was definitely not the right rig for this adventure. It sure was a great trip though.
Sorry but an ad a minute 30 in is a little ridiculous so I skipped the video because of it but I'll leave this comment to help support.
