Very good work. In Germany the hourly wage is so high that I could buy a complete new pair of Nicks or Whites for such a service. The shoemakers who are affordable grind off the old sole and stick a new one on it. Of course that has nothing to do with your outstanding work, unfortunately. Keep it up. Greetings Robby
Hey @UnsungHouse I was wondering about the sizing. In the description of this video you mention that these Kow Hoo's were little too big for you normal size 10 but what size were they marked as? Also how's was the quality of the shoe I haven't seen a ton of info online about the brand.
When we're smooth sanding the edges of the sole we start with 100grit on the machine then move to 350 grit hand sanding then 1500 grit hand sanding. Also wetting the edges with water in between each stage.
Let us know what you think about the video!
this is the first time I have seen sewing of the half sole with the leather midsole. cool .
What a transformation!...for the better.
First watch, best restoration I've seen 👍. Very enjoyable.

I’m curious what grit sandpaper you use for the midsole/sole? I want to repaint my midsole edge color dressing
