would have been so so much easier to get out, if you had pop the top ball joint out first and lifted the hub assembly up of the bottom one..also, the hub is not "worn out, there is 3 different size ball joints available a 21 and 22 and a 22.5 the 21mm is for the van, the latter 2 are for the chassis cab, if you ever do the job again i would probably have both on hand. .. Good job.
Thanks for watching and commenting, it didn't feel like that there was 0.5mm of play, it was definitely slight, suggesting it was worn, we also use partslink with accurate parts ID, I'll remember for next time though 👍🙂
I am guessing wrong lower ball joint in the knuckle? there are two sizes on the MK2 master. 18mm and 20mm. You should not pinch up the knuckle to close the gap, its cast, it will fail on the road when he hits a bump!

All i do is use a 4lb mash hammer it smack the ball joint abd it drops out everytime i just wack the arm where tgr balljoint is

Theres only two types of cones which is 22 or 24mil and 22is most common

You're right. But the knuckle joint is actually a choice of 22mm or 24mm. They started to use 24mm from September 2007 onwards.
@@Mark-q9z2w yep, my bad, I should know as i just done mine on my recovery master, I ordered a new lower swivel and it didnt fit the knuckle
