I personally would have placed your creation in the top 5 in a heartbeat - in my eyes it is the perfect combination of both originality AND great technical ability with regards to sculpting, painting and basing. To be fair though, everyone that entered the September guild build is a winner because they have ended up with a unique and awesome mini to use in their games - you especially! Incidentally... where can I buy an Art Director? They look super useful.
