Based on three different places, the film portrays the infractions to which people living in modern day China are subjected due to rapid developments: in the deceptively idyllic Jiuxiancun in the rainy south; in the apocalyptic coal mining site of Minqin and Wusutu in the parched north; and in Chongqing, the megacity on the Yangtze River. The protagonists give their moving accounts of an unresolved past, an uncertain present and their tentative steps into the future.

Here in my place men do ploughing and others Spade works whereas women plant the paddy sapling .We drink tea around 11 and have lunch(pork chicken) around 1.30 .It's really good to work and eat during this planting season.
Anyone know where in China this is? I want to see more of those mountains! Seeing them in real life would be breath-taking.

I grew up on the countryside with rice fields, good memories.
When I see Chinese farmers harvesting rice, I always get confused, because usually neighbors plant their rice in the same area, and they help each other out when harvesting. How do they decide how much each person keeps if everyone helps out and everyone planted their rice in the same area?
China is a naturally beautiful country and people are so hardworking that is why China has been developing and moving forwards so fast and has overtaken all other countries of the world. I wish you all the best Chinese people.

Chak Yumai nothing is like free ride. You want nature, then you need to work. Btw, trust me, it is good for yout health in the long run. People in modern city are likely to die from their modern lifestyle and obesity.
Chak Yumai why to do hiking or go to gym if your work is exercise everyday. It is exausting to keep your good health by going to gym after many hours in office.
