how about editing multiple RAW files as all desktop RAW converters do? Photographers dont' edit just one image save it and then open next one and next again etc.. They have tens and hundreds RAW photos from one photoshooting that needed to be edited in the same style.
The Command Controller looks great, but where can we find a list of all the modifiers and touch combinations used with it? For example, how are we supposed to know that Option + tapping a layer will solo that layer? I have not been able to find a reference document for these shortcuts anywhere within the new 2.0 update.

First, the way to draw a straight brush line from A to B in Photoshop with your mouse is like this: Left-click on A, press the Shift key, move the cursor to B and make a new left-click. The line is drawn straight away form A to B. With Affinity Photo the line isn't drawn until the left mouse button is released on B, which feels weird. Next, when I want to make a new line - separated from the A-B line - by left-clicking on A1 to make a straight line to B1 - Photo Affinity draws a line from B to B1 - not as I would expect from A1 to B1. It's like the A1 position isn't recognized at all.- Continued: This is only the case with the masking brush in the Develop Persona. The brush in Photo Persona works perfectly.
Now I see - It's not sufficient to left-click on the starting point, A - I have to move the cursor a hair to make the brush in Affinity Develop recognize the new starting point. Then I can press the Shift key, move the cursor and left-click on the end point B - AND AGAIN I have to move the cursor slightly - and the line from A to B is drawn. This is HORRIBLE! This means that the brush-line can't be drawn exactly where I want it. Why isn't this brush working the same way as the brush in Photo Persona, which works exactly like brushes in Adobe Photoshop?
When I pay for the whole new v2 suite , how can I download the v2 affinity photo app on my iPad? And my second question - can I copy and paste settings I used in the develop persona from one photo to the other? And am I able to save my settings to presets that I can use on my raw files in the develop persona? Thank you in advance
Hi about the first question, check your affinity account and you will see a QR Code in the order ticket, with the camara of your ipad read it, It will send you at the app store and you can download and activate with your account, I hope it help you
If you made this more accessible then 🙏. I Stopped using it as the ui in version one… sucked! Will be excited to try version 2. If you changed a lot of the little problems you’ll have a new best friend in me😬
I thought it would be great for an amateur street photographer like me, but... it's too complicated and not intuitive. I really want to leave Lightroom for iPad, pay one price and have fun with my photos. ehh edit. "(No lens profile)" :(
I dont like the design changes at all v2 looks nothing like 1.0 (ipad)and i dont find anything . Even the plus button to open a photo is gone. I searched half an hour and the only thing i see are thousand different dokuments and sizes of documents to open wnd no i dont have my photos in the i pad data section, i want to use photos from my photo app but its not in the options... i just want to open a dam photo! Everything that was easy is more difficult and harder to find. A very disapointed version one user her. Another dumb change: if you do split toning and you change your hue the thing turns transparent and you cant see where you are on the color wheel anymore… Is it so difficult to give us simple sliders someone can see while using it like in lightroom and any other app? who the hell designed this?
Missing the command circle, button, widget thing and changing to a non destructive layer type within the develop persona is not possible, because it’s greyed out. Are you kidding me?
Toggle clipped tones, highlights and shadows is missing visual confirmation as to whether or nots it’s toggled on or off.. This company is different. Hired a bunch of morons who previously worked out McDonald’s and called it a day.

Your comments are like Affinity Photo 2 for OS, unusable. In a horrible state for months, 10% features, rest just UI redesign, yet charging the full price, again. calling it a Money Grab would be a compliment. Freaking amateur company.

Because there are none, according to the product expert, it’s not necessary. Just guessing, or trail and error.
I want to drop Windows completely. Can astrophotography stacking be used on Affinity Photo 2 on Ipad?

Not sure I understand-if you want two parallel straight lines you could create a brush nozzle to achieve this?

Its more complicated. I liked version one even if it was clunky but now its worse.
Working in iPad and on the pc if you want to undo something you can go up to edit and click on undo. I can’t find that on the iPad.

Just downloaded for iPad, couldn’t figure out how to import from photos. Nvm. You have to hold down the new button.

im going to stay with V1, they really took something simple and messed it all up.
You can just drag your photo from your photo app into affinity photo
