I wore this quad for the first time yesterday and LOVE it. I did a look similar to how Chanel used it in their email to me (showed a look for each quad, but on a different model for each). Used a gold shadow on my top lid, and a green along lower lash line. OMG, I will be reaching for this one, and the Blurry Blue which is the other one I ordered and also love a lot!! Congrats on reaching 50K subscribers...you deserve the following you've achieved !!
These blurry quakes look so classy and sophisticated. Ultimate Chanel to me. Sometimes I feel in other brands they add too much shimmer/glitter and can lose that sophisticated look. This looks high end and classy. Can't wait to see the others!

I do agree that it is more of a fall palette. When you swatched the shades, I thought they were a gorgeous grungy interpretation of green. But then I remembered I had the exact same thoughts about subculture. At any rate, I do find Chanel's interpretation of color to be beautiful. The gray undertones make it much more wearable on an everyday basis rather than only on special occasions or going out.
I was very curious about these new products and am glad you showed the green palette. I agree, it seems like a natural choice for fall more so than for summer, but it is very very pretty. They have put out a lot of new products lately! I already purchased things from the spring collections. All money well spent, but the sky is not the limit as far as my pocketbook goes.... so I need to make thoughtful choices. Thanks!

I don't know what to think of this palette, muted colors aren't really my thing. I remember years ago Chanel had a 5 colour palette- Christmas edition and although it looked great in the pan- when blended they didn't look great on the eyes- they all created some kind of muddy mess. That palette had a similar green in it too. Not sure this kind of resemblance would make me want to buy this palette. Thank you so much for the review, Michele! Lovely on you!! I think a khaki/foresty green eyeshadow is so perfect for brown eyes, this palette is right up my alley. Reminds me of a well-loved Lancome eyeshadow that I've had for years...

I love this color story any time of the year- however, when I was looking online yesterday, there was a quad called Lumiere Naturelle that was really peachy bronzy that I decided to order instead.. probably because of the time of year, too... but I could go for either one. Chanel is really stepping up their eyeshadow game. After watching this video, I will probably swapping the quad I just ordered for the Blurry green when it comes back in stock because the longer I look at it..the more I like this one more... lol!
I kind of get a summer in the safari type vibe from these colors. This is the type of green I like. Will have to get this one if it comes back in stock.

I actually like that these colors are more kind of “greyed down” like you mentioned… I think it makes them more wearable. I really like the look of this color story. It reminds me of the one Chanel eyeshadow quad that I bought about 20 years ago, which I never really used because I didn’t understand how to use make up back then.

I’m dying to get my shipment Monday. These are my colors! Green eyes roughly this shade & I’m even more excited now I’ve seen this. I’m loving the more muted shades as I play with the gray & mauve palettes. I can go less colors & lighter to get the summer vibe, then intense later in the year. This formula really works for my skin. No creasing & longevity to rival Tom Ford’s. These more woodsy, nature leaning colors are soothing after all the lollipop shades in other lines. (Dior, I’m looking at you) Totally office appropriate as long as I don’t trowel it on. I’ve ordered the new bronzers, kohl, pretty much the whole line. And that’s something I haven’t done in forever. Other than those nasty squeezy lip powder things and the lip inks in shades that were too garish for my coloring, I’ve gone a little insane buying Chanel lately. Totally out of character for me. 😳 I haven’t been this obsessed with a line in... years 😳

My local Nordstrom finally has these Blurry quads on display. I was so tempted by the green, but I took the two green, Chanel quads I already own to compare and decided that between the two of them they are close enough to the new one that I don't "need" it. "Want" is another story. Hehehe. I have 254 Tissé d'Automne and Empreinte du Désert.
Love this green beauty on you. Knowing myself I’m only eyeing the blurry mauve for this collection but want the entire cruise line!! And yes I got the lip surge Thrust and Clash and I’m in love and also pleasantly surprised how much I love them. They are actually... flattering. Lol. I've been out of town for a few days so I'm behind on watching videos. This makes me think of the Armani Eyes to Kill in Incognito. But I think the Chanel has more gold. Not sure though. This is such a pretty palette and looks so pretty on you.

It looks a lot like the Chanel 254 Tissé D'automne quad. Released @ 2015, which still a permanent eyeshadow. I wish I could post a picture of it.
I saw these and was asking myself if I had missed them or if they were new. ;) They are pretty, but yes, not quite what you think for this season. Chanel does very well @ eye shadows that are very wearable. Love that. I end of grabbing them on more of a daily basis. The formula has been wonderful lately, blend like raw silk.

That quad is gorgeous. I never think of wearing green tones on my eyes, but I love the way they work with brown eyes. Chanel has been coming out with so many new products. The new Cruise line looks beautiful, but I tend to stay away from more coppery tones. I also have a son going to college in August and have no money to spare. Too bad!

Love the look! I bought vert lame (with the lion's head) based upon your recommendation and I love it. I think blurry green would be a nice complement. Maybe these shadows were meant for fall but they were delayed? Thus the quiet release in spring? Anyways, I would still use them in spring, lol. Congrats on 50K!
My heart nearly skipped a beat because this Blurry Green quad was really reminding me of MAC's Fabulous Felines Burmese Beauty, which I miss A LOT. Not quite the same, though. :(((
Hi Michele! I recently watched a few of your reviews for makeup brushes and eyeshadow palettes and really like your content. I feel that you are very sincere with your reviews,. I'm a year younger than you and I also have Asian skin tone so I find your reviews very helpful. Can you do a review on finishing powder? I am using Laura Mercier (translucent) powder right now because it doesn't have talc but wonder if there are better ones out there. I'm conscious of the ingredients in my makeup and skincare products. Thank you and keep up the great work :)

It really reminds me a lot of one of their LE quad from Fall 2015 called Tissé d'Automne. Got this quad and still love it. 😉

I'm the exact opposite🤣🤣 Green is my favorite color, I love bright colors, and I was slightly disappointed that the green wasnt as bright as it was online. I was lucky enough to purchase it the first go around and it does make a gorgeous look IMO, just not what I was expecting😄😄
My thoughts exactly. If I bought this quad now I would wear it in Autumn for sure. Great colors but I don't think I would reach out for them at this time of the year.
So funny, I was thinking Fall, right before you said it - they do not look like Spring/Summer at all. I think its kind of strange, but I guess they can do whatever they want. It does make me think that these are not limited Ed, since I don't know how many average people will think "I need these now!" They look pretty on you, but to be honest, I didn't think the color story was all that special. Just my 2 cents! Thanks for the review and demo. Lovely video and review. Tempting quad! I have this memory that Chanel released a very similar colour story maybe in Autumn 2015 or 2016. I remember trying it in the Burlington Arcade Chanel beauty boutique and wanting to get it, but my friend advised waiting to see how they wore, and after a few hours they were just a muddy mess on my eyes. Still kinda wish I'd got it so if they come to the UK I'll maybe spend a few Boots points on it.
I would probably get this to complement my Gemini palette.

Hi Michele. I have 306 Splendeur et Audace quad from last year. It has a green and a beautiful coppery gold similar perhaps to this. The green is alot lighter. Tom Ford Last Dance quad has similar green but without the glitter. I also think maybe the single colour from the lion collection Cuive Lame - the golden coppery one, might be similar to one of the colours? The Vert Lame Lion colour is definitely a darker green I think. Anyway, I think I'll pass on this. Congrats on 50k Michele!

You created a really nice eye look with that palette. I wasn't interested in the "blurry" palettes, but now... I spent all I intend to spend between Sephora, Bergdorf's and Macy's beauty sales. I have a hard time saying no to green eye shadows, but this will likely be a pass. It looks like a lot of my neutral palettes, but just with one barely green shadow added in. Any chance you have TF Last Dance to compare the green to? That's the one I reach for when I'm looking for a dirty green that isn't too matte like the one in the Viseart Theory Absinthe palette. I thought the color story for the Blurry quads were more fall/autumn as did you - a nice choice from the customary crimson reds we been seeing each fall season for a while. Not sure about purchase.
