Okay, are you sick of CHANEL yet? YEP, I needed to finish off the series and today I am going to show you the Chanel Blurry MAUVE Quad. I am in love with the WHOLE BLURRY series and with CHANEL at the moment. These quads are pretty - wearable quads with a little pop of color with the new eyeliners! I hope you enjoy this video and thank you for watching.
FOR REFERENCE- My skin type is mature, dry, rosacea prone. I am 50 years old and my issues are hyperpigmentation, keeping rosacea at bay, and general anti-aging.

Hi Abby, this is a really pretty look on you. I think my favorite on you may be the greys. I ordered the blurry blue and tried it today for the first time. Really nice shadow. Looking at the palette, you would,think they would be dull or dark, but the formula is really unique and goes on so pretty. I found that the longer I wore the shadows, the prettier the colors looked. Also received the Cle de Peau cream to powder foundation and oh my goodness, I love it.

It’s always interesting to see how others would do an eye look. There are so many choices with these quads. Sometimes I just use the lightest color on my lid with liquid eyeliner in a cat feline flick. I am loving all these Chanel quads. Thanks Abby for your reviews 💜♥️💜

I was right in the middle of putting together ANOTHER Chanel order when your video popped up. So of course I had to stop what I was doing and watch. I certainly wouldn’t want to miss out on the continuation of the Chanel extravaganza that I have been on with you!

You mean what did I get so far? Blurry Green with the Jungle Green pencil, Blurry Grey and Blurry Mauve. I’m gonna try the Stylo Yeux in Eros, but I don’t have high hopes. I also got the Les Beiges Water Tint, 9 pan eyeshadow palette and the face powder. I thought I had missed out on the Lumieres Naturelles palette, but I discovered it on Nordstrom today! I know I’m forgetting something...but you get the idea...slowly, but surely...practically everything. Like you, this Blurry collection has gotten me interested in trying color!

Totally random question for you since you have so much experience with Chanel. I came across the Les Beiges Multi-colour Powder on the Chanel website this a.m. I thought I had missed it last year, but there it was! Can’t decide between Medium and Deep. I have heard that the Medium can come across kinda of orange, but the deep, is well, deep. You and I have similar coloring - what shade would you go for? Have you tried that powder? Thanks!!
@@ginaswartzendruber5605 that is funny! I was bummed I missed out on those last year and was excited to see them online. I have heard the exact same thing about the MEDIUM being slightly ORANGE and the DEEP being a bit dark for our complexions. The good news for me is that their powders make my skin itch for some reason - so although I am tempted by them - it makes it easier for me to skip. I am sorry I am not much help on this one. xoxo

You've not made it easy for us to choose a favourite! Personally, I really like the Blurry Green and Blurry Blue on you. Your eye colour is more vibrant with these combinations. I do have to add that the Blurry Grey and Blurry Mauve also look beautiful on you. I am totally enjoying your videos and vicariously sharing the enthusiasm in these beautiful products. Ordered it today and now just watching your video and glad I did because you look so pretty in it. I swatched in store but wasn’t impressed. Don’t know why because what they looked dull on my hand? They’re supposed to be miter/ neutral. My wrong frame of mind I guess at the time. Anyway very excited. On a side note, I had Sephora deliver a parcel today containing 3 Chanel products (revolution mascara/ roses charnel single shadow and the lilac single shadow) even my free samples were stolen. But the delivery driver handed the parcel to my minor and when I saw it a while later I could see the parcel was damaged and the end had been tampered with. Fuming, because you can’t ever speak to a human and sent dozens of emails calls to both evri and Sephora and worried they’re going to make excuses that as it was delivered and handed to resident (minor) there’s nothing they can do. It was a very expensive purchase so if this happens I’ve got to do. Ore work to take it for their so frustrated as I was so excited for this parcel I had no email even saying they was coming today just that they’d delivered it 😢 anyway, on a happy note this new order is from John Lewis so I’m hoping it’s not evri who is going to be the courier and all goes well. You look lovely by the way 😊

@@AbbyBlissWhite Abby, your experience with Chanel has mirrored my own. Chanel has launched 3 collections in a short period of time and the quality has been excellent. I'm trying to enjoy the collections while summer is here, so really appreciate your videos. I'm considering The Eyes Collection but they may have to follow Chanel Fall Collection if that indeed launches mid-July. It's almost too much all at once. 🤭🤫

Don't think I can choose just one Quad. They all look beautiful and there's so many ways they can be worn. Also I LOVE the way they wear....all day! Definitely worth the money.
Honestly I wouldn't have noticed your eyes being red had you not mentioned it. They're not bad at all. This week I started using the GrandeLash-MD, they are a bit red but nothing that bothers me and the redness goes away. I was previously using Revitilash for almost a year and experienced very little change. Latise (sp?) worked amazingly on my lashes but wanted to try a less exensive serum. I have seen so many great results with GrandeLash on others. Thanks for these reviews Abby. Sick of Chanel???? NEVER!!!!! Lol! xxoo
Beverly- they really are AWESOME and so versatile! I did use the Grande Lash MD the night before but it was the first time in a while and something just made my eyes irritated. That is my go-to lash serum and it WORKS! I love it! I may need a fresh tube. It also could be allergies. And yay! Because I have a another Chanel video coming up today to round out the week of Chanel! LOL! xoxo

I love all the quads on you. The mauves were subtle and very neutral. I like the TF Boy lip with the gloss as I thought it kept your look soft and pretty which is so ‘you’. I am still leaning towards the greens for me with my brown eyes and red hair. I like that it was so bronzey that you could play the green up or not.

I really enjoyed this video, Abby. I agree that the palette can have very wearable looks using two shadows at a time. I loved the smoky look and using Rouge Noir Stylo as an eyeliner. It really came together applying liner to the lower lashline. I preferred the second lip look though nice to see two options that work. I hope your eyelash serum works and the eyes clear up quickly!

I think if you can find an eye shadow equal to the lip color shimmer pink, then it would be perfect. Otherwise, it's a little dark, it needs a shimmer in there. I like the second lip color. Good choice.

I have brown hair with blond highlights and brown eyes.

Ugh. I ordered the blurry blue and blurry grey last night. Now I’m thinking I may have to get the mauve and green. I really like the mauve on you. Makes your eyes look green. Since I have green eyes I always like to use colors that enhance them. And the first color on you lips also made your eyes pop. I find brighter lipsticks really bring out my eyes more than softer or nude colors. I also ordered the intense teal eye liner. I got notification this morning that my Nordstrom package had shipped. I thought that was really quick. When I opened the email only the freebies have shipped. Nothing that I actually purchased!!!! So bummed!! Thanks Abby for going off your no buy. Now we all really do need to wait for the Nordstrom sale.

Abby Bliss White birthdays don’t count. Never ever. My philosophy is you probably won’t get anything you really want so you might as well buy what you want yourself. At least that is my reasoning. Oh and I’ve been using the Dior eyelash primer for years and love it. I use neulash for growth and lately I’ve been loving Marc Jacobs velvet noir. I had lash extensions last year for four months and loved them so I’m trying to recreate the look without false eyelashes

Gina- so here is the deal- the TF BODY HEAT is in the WET/DRY formula is quite shimmery- beautiful - but I feel like I need to use some matte shades to ground the look with the BODY HEAT. The Blurry Mauve palette is a matte/satin palette. Do you have TF Nude Dip? If so- the combo of Blurry Mauve and Nude Dip or Body Heat looks amazing together. I am not saying you have to buy BOTH. I would just go with whether you want more of a matte palette or shimmery... I am not saying the right word... it is not glittery and such but definitely NOT matte. I hope this helps. Let me know what you decide. xoxo

Love the Blurry Mauve - all four are gorgeous. It’s between the grey and the mauve - I think. Do you have a favorite. The Blurry palettes and that Le Beige palette are so good - versatile - day to night - loves how you pairs the eyeliners and the lip colors. Great videos, Abby - thank you 👍💞

Welcome Jan! Thank you for subscribing! Yes, I will definitely add that information- the top two of this quad are matte and the other ones on the bottom are more of a satin with the darkest shade have a bit of a reflective property in it. I will make sure to include that in the future. xoxo

What was the lash serum you used?
Alisa- I was using Grande Lash Md serum- but have used it before without issue but woke up this morning with bloodshot - sore eyes1 . UGH!! It could also be allergies but I did use that last night and went running this morning -- maybe a combo. xoxo
@@AbbyBlissWhite Try Jane Iredale's eyelash conditioner. I use this before mascara application and get a grand result. Kinda scared to try the eylash serums for the reason you are experiencing now. Hope you feel better soon! :)

Abby, I’m curious how would you compare Blurry Mauve with Tom Ford’s Body Heat? I know you have both! If you were going to get one or the other, which would it be? As always, thanks for the info!!

I know exactly what you are saying - I do have Nude Dip, so I will try that with my Blurry Mauve. See, that’s why I ask you these things! I can’t think outside of the box enough to come up with combining palettes. I’ll see how it goes. You know I prefer the TF Wet/Dry formula, but find it really irritating that the wet/dry palettes only have 6g of product vs. the 10g in the other palettes. Sneaky!

This reminds me a lot of Tom Fords body heat! I don't know if I need this one!
They are similar but the TF is more of a shimmery formula versus the Chanel is a satin/matte formula. Same tones. xoxo

I just turned 70 and don't listen to any rules anymore. My eyes are disappearing and I like to line underneath--otherwise I lose so much definition. You are doing beautiful eye looks with these Chanel Blurries. I can't decide which one(s) I really need. I have hazel eyes too but mine are more green/gold than yours I think and I love blue shadows.

He's wonderful and just went on my first trail ride last weekend. Want to be as healthy as possible and drop a few lbs. It's so hard at this age. Do you do this??

Of all the Chanel Blurry pallets which is your favorite? They all flatter you!
I prefer the lip in Boy with the gloss, simple and fresh looking.
Pamela-- I am going to play with them a bit more to determine which one. I am actually leaning towards the GREY and if my eyes were not so bloodshot maybe this Mauve... and I still like the Green and Blue... oh boy! Let me ponder and get back to you. xoxo
Is this similar to Tom Ford body heat?
The Tom Ford BODY HEAT has more shimmer to it. This is a more MATTE version of BODY HEAT. The same concept but the TF is definitely more reflective. To be honest, using both of those would make a GORGEOUS look. I also think just adding a little TF Nude Dip to the lids would work as well. I hope this helps. xoxo
