can we just admire that he made a tutorial and managed fit in a bunch of time wasting jokes, a sponser and advertised his Patreon. All within 2 minutes and 20 seconds
So I received the notification and exclamed: How charming, another fast video from one of my favorite tutorialists. Let us enjoy it. A couple of minutes later: Me brain be like: Stain default orange & voronoy them dashlane to glass. Me is u by by.
Any day you put up a new video is a great day for me. Always really entertaining and education and gets me pumped to jump into blender! You are awesome! I also think with people's attention spans (mine) the really fast format holds attention better but your longer videos like the face cap were super interesting and informative. Keep up the great work! I think you make fun cool stuff in blender really easy to understand and that has probably inspired a lot of people to really get into blender!
this is perfect. my skill level is pretty intermediate and this tutorial is perfect since i needed to make a stainglass window but was having trouble with getting the colors/random texutres. this tutorial explained everything i needed to plug into the color of the glassbsdf
I really love these fast tutorials. They get the info across without wasting time. Even though I probably won't have the time to try these things out, I still love watching your tutorials. Keep it up!
If the solution to better tutorials is to speed everyting up by a thousand times so it fits into a short segment, thats not a good solution. It makes the tutorial not followable at all and is very unprofessional. Why not just focus on better content and cutout the fluff you mentioned, you can do that and still have a good tutorial thats short and to the point. Doesnt have to be so fast nobody can follow it unless they slow it down to 0.5 speed.
... except that stained glass is not just random but very carefully placed edges matching the shapes in the image (see 0:11) ... just to add some smart-ass comment here ;)
Hey thanks, for this amazing tutorial. I'm working on it and trying to make it even more classy. One thing I'm struggling with : I can't make the light go throught. I mean, it is transparent but it entirely casts a shadow. I don't know how to solve this. Anyone? Thanks a lot!
I feel like you should do some sort of posterization and separation of colors / forms before adding the glass texture so you can get outlines that actaully look like shapes and not just random shapes which i dont think any stained glass really has.
Maybe using a bunch of separate rgb to pick each color and using them to create the shapes, then, put the shapes together and use the final result texture to make the divisions.
I know this is an old video and I'm very new to all of this, but when I export from blender and then import into my game engine for stained glass placement, it's just a blank plane. How can I export the plane with the stained glass applied to it?
Trees. Trees are heavy man... Hi CGMatter, I think Voronoi textures would be able to give a good approximation for a tree leaf canopy but have 0 skill compared to you. Could you mull it over and think of a cool procedure for this?
Guys don't watch this with subtitles, the people that type the subtitles have broken fingers now because they type the subtitles everytime they are enabled.
Ok but what if i want to have bigger piece of glass in the mosaic effect BUT still near, as close as possible to the shapes of the character in the picture?

We can see your credit card information in the video, unless it is fake. Just in case you didn't know
Thanks for making it faster. I can skip setting the video at 2X now.
@@mathiasbttger980 I've already ordered a few things. I hope he doesn't mind.
@@squarerootof2 me 2
Thanks for the rock essentials cgmatter

out of 2:20, 1 min is just sponsorship😂
And it’s still extremely helpful
dear cg matter.
you left your credit card info in the video
I went back just to spot that! lol, you are right. it's there
rip cg matter's bank account
I don't think it is a real card number, the variation is suspiciously low. Or at least I hope it is not :D
Definitely not real and by the way I would not save my credit card info ever with Dashlane or similar
Stefan S pleas tell me that not his real card
this is slowly turning into cursed tutorials
I like it
I watched this in 2x speed. Totally get what you mean!

When sponsor time lasts longer than the actual tutorial
Glad to have these fast tutorials back

Yo, I just want to say keep up the good work. Blender (and other FOSS) is like the best thing ever, and these fast paced vids are awesome.

He went from tutorial to sponsor so quick that I followed the sign in and I’ve been using dashlane

You are just incredible
I love this channel (and the default cube)🔥🔥
Many Thanks.
You use your crazy overload editing as a device to distract us from the fact that you're an absolute genius. You seriously thought we wouldn't notice?
I don't know what I just watched but I subscribed
So nice!
move the default cube past event horizon
aside from the fact that I needed to play this in 0.5 speed this was a really good tutorial and I wish there would be more as short and easy as this
Man you are straight to the point, which is great ! thank you, it was pretty helpfull for my project
Taking into account this guys skill level its totally reasonable to think that this tutorial was edited in blender
... except that stained glass is not just random but very carefully placed edges matching the shapes in the image (see 0:11) ... just to add some smart-ass comment here ;)
i tried this on my own a while ago, but cool video. my node set up had like 3 more unnecessary nodes.
CGMATTER talks faster than Eminem raps. It's unbelievable!
I freakin luv this guy
i am confused... i use the current blender version but my voronoi node looks and acts completly different
Usually i speed up tutorials but i had to slow down this one🤯
Cgmatter is the Eminem of the 3D art
Instructions unclear, installed dashlane in blender add-ons list
Wait...it doesn't go there...
try watching the vid without sound, it is the best
Cool 😲
this is amazing !!!!
Greatest of all time. And it didn't take him ten 30 minutes lessons lolz
i like that 3rd glass
Fast Glass? Or is it Dash Glass?
stainlane sponsored by dashlass
My boy cgmatter 😂♥️

CGMatter tried so hard to crack a joke that even Blender rendering time seems quick and easy in comparison.
Music to be murdered by 😍
I like it :)
this is dope, all of it
MA boy cg matter
all non-English people: oh shit
Blender memes are the best memes
eminem aint got shit on this
- Which is your favorite Eminem song?
- It's complicated...
Walter White doesn't like it when you teach everyone how to make glass.
Ah finally, I can vicariously experience crack cocaine again
Nice!
Make a fast tutorial for making fast tutorials. Go ultra meta!
Can anyone tell me how he got the glass to be transparent so that light passes through it?
Hasta la vista Default Cube
I don't get the same result with multiply at 0:48 in blender 3.2. I don't even have the same multiply node
Looks like you need to have a MixRGB node and then set that to Multiply. I guess whatever clicking function he did produced the new node.
I know you're coming after my memories. You'll regret it.
I know this is an old video and I'm very new to all of this, but when I export from blender and then import into my game engine for stained glass placement, it's just a blank plane. How can I export the plane with the stained glass applied to it?
Cheers👍. LOL...Now, Zero, that was funny 😂😂
0:58 wait... if my skill in blender compared to his is zero, doesn't that mean we're equally good? Wow, I must be amazing!
Faster, Sanic ! FASTER !
Cool! It works with any texture ?
what do you think about become a rapper?
lol ducky 3d @ 0:54
Is that ducky 3d in there at 55 seconds holding a camera ? tight
Trees. Trees are heavy man...

I enjoyed this, +1 sub
I love youu!!
hope you make some vfx or stylized type stuff, tryna see what kinda heat you cook up on that side of things
Only a true blender master will watch this on 2x speed
Oh my god I am one of the Ronald McDonald's from the picture @0:35!!! From a movie I worked on year ago 😂
1:29 it's a bait!
Dat subliminal advertising at the end tho lol
Don't use dashlane. use keepass. it's free, opensource, does the same and works with linux, windows and android.
you're about to end this man's whole carreer
CGMatter, how do you think should I watch this video on speed 0.5 and make this with my pfp and use it on RUclips?
Wow, forget the fast paced tutorial...
Skip straight to 1:17; loving this fast paced promotion 👍😂
WDNMD, is it hot?
Guys don't watch this with subtitles, the people that type the subtitles have broken fingers now because they type the subtitles everytime they are enabled.
Can you make more blender 2.81 nodes tutorial?
I just got over a migraine, now my head aches... :D
0:58 If my blender skill compared to yours is 0, doesn't that mean we have the same skill? A-B
That's the engineer from TF2 at 0:20. Hmm...
leak the default cube onto the dark web
Your name is robert?
Top 10 rappers Eminem was too afraid to diss
apart from making a fast tutorial you also did a fast sponsored segment
Ok but what if i want to have bigger piece of glass in the mosaic effect BUT still near, as close as possible to the shapes of the character in the picture?
if my skill compared to yours are 0, it means i'm skilled as you
When advertisment is same length as tbe tutorial...
EPIC
Lol that von gogh picture we talked about in school today
How would I make it so the "separation edges" are based off of where the color change is? I want fewer panels for straiter lines on edges.
