I feel like she might be one of the animatronics that struggles against the corruption of her code, and perhaps she does see you in the vent, but she isn’t fully corrupted yet, so she doesn’t do anything, as the feelings she is getting from the corruption is distracting her enough.
They really nailed the rock star personalities.
Roxy is narcissistic and needs to hype herself up and compliment herself all the time. She is also an emotional mess as she goes from crying to rage all the time.
Chika is the one member who needs to keep up with the rockstar body type and diet but is secretly a massive glutton.
Monty is the member who destroys every hotel room and public space he can get his hands on.
And Freddy is just happy to be there.

I'm glad at least ONE person commented on how advanced the animatronics must be to even TRY to hype themselves up in front of a mirror.
Honestly, it goes beyond just hyping themselves up. They’re basically sentient. And generally, they’re pretty good to me everyone.
But like most people, their personalities have bad sides. Monty can be very sadistic, Chica is a glutton, and Roxy has serious self doubt issues and depression (though I can’t see anything wrong with Freddy, but I’ll get to that).
This is caused by personality chips embedded into them, but a hack caused by Vanny/Glitchtrap/Afton has completely changed who they are. Freddy escaped that when he glitched out on stage.
This definitely went further than what you stated, but yeah, these animatronics are basically digitised humans, that’s how advanced their AI is.

@@rockycuro7737 Maybe they had small faults built in to be endearing like Roxy being somewhat shy at times, Chika being loving unhealthy food and Monty sometimes getting angry in a more comedic way (big goofy guy gets mad when failing golf stomps around and falls over) since those small faults would not only show how advanced they are designed but make them more likable to children. The glitch likely just took those traits and dialed them to 11 leading to the mental patients we see before us.

Huh, i guess some people didn’t quite get the memo about how advanced these Animatronics truly are, despite already meeting Freddy, though since Gregory was there in that scene i can understand why people didn’t quite catch it, however that doesn’t change the fact that Freddy were also basically talking to himself before he ever realized Gregory’s presence.
well to be fair, before the trailers showed up, all we've seen from other games is:
the robots are possessed and want to kill you
you have to keep an eye on 1 of 2 of them (foxy, puppet, springtrap, etc.)
try to get rid of distractions
listen closely
there is always another way
and your path is usually never clear until the end
we've never seen robots with their own personalities. at the time, we even thought that Freddy was gonna betray us (on purpose)
so it makes sense why we're surprised to see a robot wolf compliment herself in the mirror like she's the true star of the show

Well one of the symptoms of narcissistic personality disorder is believing you are superior to everyone else. That you are better than everyone else, that everyone loves you, you're perfect, and they're jealous of your perfect life. Most people do talk to themselves however usually in their minds. Not as many people actually speak out loud to themselves. And I can safely say that most RUclipsrs AREN'T narcissistic. Besides, you'd need a diagnosis.

1 - Your hair is beautiful. Your tail is beautiful. Everyone was watching you. Everyone Loves you. Everyone wants to be you. You are the best.
2 - Thank you. I am the best.
3 - I am the best.
Part 1 is the script of her telling herself what she needs or wants to hear. Part 2 is more timid and accepting of the praise. Part 3 sounds unsure of it. She is going through this Mantra to keep herself happy. All Roxy wants is the same as any faithful canine. Love, Affection and Affirmation.

It's likely the glitchtrap afton virus that infected the Freddy's pizzeria mainframe, and by extent; as well as Vanny, the robotics. You can learn more about it if you collect the all the things in game.

She is a narcissist and egotistical anyone who does that has an overgrown ego but sometimes they do that to cope with something. She is probably really lonely and depressed and needs help.

Her low self esteem couldn't be more obvious and self affirmations like that are common practices to counter low self esteem.

I'll give you the first one there are other possibilities but sure. Points 2, 4, and 5 have no evidence. Points 3 and 7 are debatable at best considering much of your "evidencece" us self affirmations (note that when she says "I am the best" as opposed to "You are the best" she does so with hesitation and doubt). Point 9 is just out right irrelevant. For point 6, plenty of people belittle others not all of them are narcissistic. And for point 8 Gregory hit her with a fucking Go Cart and stole her eyes, I'd say assuming her crying (something she even does when she's alone in her room) is just a manipulation tactic is an asinine leap in logic.
So that's a grand total of 2 of 9 traits which definitely have other possible explanations with another 2 or 3 that are (at best) debatable whether she has them in the first place.
@@Draiocht012 Yeah. you got me. I apologize and know exactly what i did wrong. the part where I went wrong was trying to squeeze in the signs of a grandiose narcissist into a vulnerable narcissist and it caused me to stretch like that cursed mickey mouse toy.
However I wouldn't immediately dismiss the claim. I did a little more research and here are new points that describe a vulnerable narcissist and how those points describe (If they do to begin with) Roxanne wolf. First things first, while both are iterations of NPD, they function differently, which was how I fucked up like the little supershit I am.
(Wow, these points are way easier to prove then the first ones)
*Sign 1: Are hypersensitive and easily hurt.* The first thing I think of when I read that point was the scene where Roxy was crying in her room in front of her mirror because she could not catch Gregory. something as small as obtaining a small child would not cause a depressive breakdown to a normal mind.
*Sign 2: Are more introverted than grandiose narcissists.* This is blatantly false, she performs on stage in front of an audience
*Sign 3: Find it difficult to deal with any failure or trauma.* Failure in Roxy's eyes is being a "loser" and she mentions multiple times how that is supposedly a bad thing. "I am not a loser!" "Sign up today and be a winner! no one likes a loser."
*Sign 4: Are more neurotic and will worry and fret over how they are perceived.* Roxy mentions in her mirror pep talk about how "Your performance was perfect tonight!" and how "Everyone was watching." How others see her affects her a lot and these mirror speeches are most likely a side effect of that.
*Sign 5: Can turn on themselves when hurt or disappointed.* They way she says "It's nothing, Don't get distracted!" sounded like she was yelling at herself like an angry drill sergeant, but I cannot say for sure that she is turning on herself.
*Sign 6: Feel shame when rejected - and will try to agree with the person who has rejected them as a way to reduce these feelings of shame.* This one has no evidence.

Some examples of MN include Adolf Hitler, Joseph Stalin, Mao Zedong, and Kim Jong Un.

Just like Rarity in My Little Pony and Mettaton in Undertale, Roxanne Wolf is one of those characters who consider themselves charming and beautiful, so much so that they even admire themselves to maintain their famous and glamorous spirit all the time, something that Libras tend to do very often because they are considered like other people with Very special characteristics too, although they usually have the defect of being very dramatic almost for anything that goes wrong with them!

Guys, stop arguing if she could see or couldn’t see Gregory in the vents. The reason why she doesn’t catch Gregory in hiding places and in the vent because *ahem* first of all, she was not told of a kid that needs to be found yet by Vanny. Second of all, she wouldn’t want to cheat. As a person who also has low self esteem, I can tell you that if someone like that cheated, they would think even lower than they already are. She tries to catch you by turning off her eyes specific way of working (my theory of what she does) because she doesn’t want to feel like she cheated. She truly wants to show herself that she is the best.
The true answer is actually much more simple. to quote freddy using roxy's eyes: "I can see movement through the walls." key word, MOVEMENT. when you are hiding, you are not moving, thus Roxy cannot see you.
