For those who don't know the context, it's in a book series known as "Tales of the Pizzaplex". The story of the Mimic involves an engineer for Fazbear Entertainment known as Edwin Murray, he lived with his son on an abandoned building, to keep his son company he built the Mimic being able to mimic anyone. In that case, it was mimicking his son to play with him. One day, Edwin's son David Murray died in a car accident. Despite this, the Mimic kept mimicking his son, to unleash his anger, Edwin grabbed a metal pipe and assaulted the Mimic, dismantling it completely. When Fazbear Entertainment employees managed to salvage and repair the Mimic, they brought it back in one piece only for it to kill those employees, since it mimicked Edwin's violent behavior towards him earlier. The reason why he was locked down there in the Pizzaplex is so that he doesn't get to attack anyone. Gregory and Vanessa worked together to imprison it using the MXES system, which is why the Entity attacks you, to stop you from freeing the Mimic.
Ah, I don’t care what anyone says, this was one of the best FNAF moments for me. I had been so eager for the Mimic to be revealed, and the moment he is unveiled was epic as HELL. I was screaming just like Dawko
