I pulled my son after 2nd 9weeks of First grade. It was hard in the beginning but it gets easier with time. He’s in the 7th grade now and I’ve never regretted it. Homeschooling has been the best thing for my son. Remember to give yourself and him grace on hard days. Enjoy this time with your sweet young man. It’s true when they say the years fly by faster than you think.
This was so exciting to hear how you home school Axel my kids are all grown and older so never had that when they were in school This is very interesting Kayla you are definitely a busy mama between family and couponing You are amazing
Love this video and hearing what's working for you guys! For those booster cards--do you need the books to go along with them? Or do the cards stand alone? I like the idea of adding those into language arts (we currently use master books and like it) just to give incentivised reading opportunities. But don't want to have to purchase several books. Also, that unit study looks beautifully made! I'm going to have to check out their ig!
I believe in the state of Tennessee, they do a test in fifth grade. So my plan currently is to continue the curriculum we are doing and then advance to the level two book next.
