Haley420 Actually, nowhere is safe. You just tend to feel more protected than usual, but never safe. It's supposed to be something we learn when we are young but since humans are so evolved, we now think everywhere is safe and surpressed that primal urge to consistently be aware. In reality, you are never safe. There is a high chance of death everywhere you go. Also a high chance of injury, but you don't feel this because you re either surrounded by people. Or have someone protecting you, so you get a sense of security. But, a random Korean plane can come in at anytime and bomb us. You can be murdered by a serial killer, someone in your family can die of natural causes and then that will cause you to feel depressed leading to death. I mean there is a lot that can happen that people tend to forget actually happen

Who else wonders if Mr. Nightmare experienced something scary and wants him to tell his stories (if he has any)???
It's kind of a prerequisite in these stories that the characters involved have to be incredibly stupid to the point of unbelievability.
The amount of times in these stories where people are like "yeah I saw some dude chilling in the window of my house, probably with a butcher knife in their hand staring directly at me, but after looking around briefly I saw nothing- so I made sure all the doors were unlocked, wrote it off as temporary delusional psychosis, and went to sleep." Is quite staggering to say the least.
Thing is, there really are incredibly stupid people in this world.
The scariest part of Story 1 is the fact that most of the ocean is unexplored and there are hundreds of thousands of sea creatures yet to be discovered. So it could very well be possible for such a creature to exist.

I had an odd experience one night in my car. I was driving up to the train station because I thought why not. It was dark, the moon was out but ever so slightly covered by faded misty clouds. I started listening to these spooky videos and I got spooked big time. You always think it will never happen to me! So I decided to head back down and my car emitted a loud beep because my side door was open, so I came to a halt. At this point, I went to open and close the door and just as I opened the door, in the forest next to me, all I heard was this loud shrieking sound, very similar to the one used at 5:11. I freaked! I was just sitting for a moment, struck by fears and nerves and then quickly fixed the door. As I pulled off, my car lights began to flicker - this has never happened before. So I came to another stop to make sure they were fine but I just got this odd, off feeling that I needed to leave! So I did.

I actually saw a dead body wash up on the beach in Fort Lauderdale back in 1978, early one morning with my daughter's who were 10 and 12, just a few feet in front of us he rolled out of the surf in full scuba gear, we knew she was dead his face was bluish gray, the lifeguard came immediately and tried to save him but he was gone for quite some time. Now that was a scary beach sight.
One time my uncle was with his friend scuba diving but my uncle’s friend’s scuba tank cracked and they were too far down to go back up for air. My uncle watched his best friend slowly die right in front of him.

Omg yes, my husband is in the Navy and where we are currently stationed there is a “haunted” watchtower. Apparently a soldier killed himself in there a few years back and my husband and other people in his company have claimed that the hatch will open and close on its own, it’s always freezing up there even during the summer and if you happen to fall asleep you’ll have very realistic nightmares about yourself dying in the tower.
