best group dance ever, fantastic, but then I'm biased as I love the musical, Frankie's America was one of my favourite dances ever. But loved Janette as Maria, Alijaz as Tony, Karen as Anita. Fab.

Scd Observer I think you mean 1961, don't you? I only know that because I was born the same year the movie came out, and the movie won the Oscar that year (as did Rita Moreno for Best Supporting Actress).

Jerry Sugden Take words out of my mouth! I don't mind Movie Week in the near beginning of the show, but I want to see the end of Halloween and other themed. There was one year when they have fusion week where pros are supposed to combine two types of dances into one music. That was innovative and the pros really stepped up that year...
Scd Observer Fusion week was cool until they gave Nicky Byrne two completely new styles that he'd never danced before, and gave everyone else either one style they'd danced before or two styles they'd danced before. His two styles were miles apart too, while everyone else's styles fit together and actually looked like a fusion of the two styles. It was very unfair and it wasn't a surprise that he went out that week.
