Game 5 at 40:09... Had Faker built Shadowflame instead of Lich Bane, Bard dies right there just before Elder Dragon spawn. Both items are 3000 gold.
Shadowflame
- 25 more AP (Viktor has huge AP ratio scaling)
- 10 base magic pen (up to 20 if enemy's at 1000 or below health OR gaining a shield within the last 5 seconds... for mountain soul, not taking damage for 5 seconds would grant you a shield)
- 200 health
Lich Bane
- MS
- some ability haste
- Sheen passive (requiring an auto attack which is shorter range than all of his abilities)
Each mountain dragon gives an additional +9% armour and magic resist (so they got +27% for the 3 mountain drakes)... If it was any other dragon soul, then Bard dies there with what Faker built. Not saying that T1 wins the 5v4 at Elder, but they would have an advantage. They blew so much on Bard and didn't even kill him; Oner could have flashed to finish him but he might have needed it for the actual Elder fight or steal...
I'm glad I'm not the only one who noticed this. Lich Bane was worthless this game.
doesn't really matter, if pyosik was on point, t1 would've been crushed no matter wich stuff faker made.
Viktor at worlds..... 32% win rate
People either built crown on him against heavy engage and he dealt no damage or played ludens and he would just die. Simple solution don't play vik into high engage comps

@@ezrealmain1227 yes, but the sire fact is that faker didn’t play Viktor well that whole series. Moreover, if he picked Yone then it serves as a flex to counter Azir (which we saw the matchup in the DK vs Gen G series) and also counter the Aatrox (which we now know in hindsight should’ve be priority ban) that DRX banned in the first phase every game after game 1 but left open in game 5.
It’s such a missed opportunity that shows the lack of experience and quick thinking on the coaching staff’s part on the draft. It’s really disappointing.

Pretty sure he is happy for DRX but sad he lost money on T1 losing. Losing money sucked out all the fun he would have had for DRX winning.
@@Asmodeus.q Lmao Worlds 2022 have the largest champion pool in history of the tournaments. I'm pretty sure that no rank games have this kind of diversity. What you said only make sense in the summer. And DRX have won against EDG after 2 lost matches. The last game including Zeka solo kill Scout (the 2021 champion) 4 times and at the end of the game Zeka also annihilate EDG and got a quadrakill even though his team was 4vs5. If that boring to you then... maybe the only thing excite you is Andrew Tate suck your d*ck.

They first picked Karma instead of letting the man with the 90% cait win rate carry them, ive never been so disgusted by a draft.
The problem was they didn't want to play Cait into Varus/Karma with Lux banned. They took the karma knowing they would either get Varus or Cait. But I guess they didn't expect the Bard pick.
I don’t know who called the shots on the drafting but he needs to get fired. Just look at the engage potential of DRX compared to T1. Aatrox, Heca, Sandman,Bard. Just horrible drafting from t1.

Dont ever go lichbane if they can dog you down anyhow. Its a great pick if you're able to kite but against a hec jungle it is such a wasted item.
Still better than zhonya here. With lich he has burst and kiting. With zhonya you fuck everything up. They are stronger in longer fights anyway. He had to go full damage. Lich was fine if he had build void right after. He'd do a ton of damage with those 3. THEN it's fine to go zhonya because they might hard engage on you right away. But since he wasn't a threat, that zhonya was bs. It's such a bait item actually.

Midbeast I watch all your videos but I can't watch this one because it hurts every time I'm reminded about T1s loss. I was super happy that it was at least DRX that won with that incredible fairytale run but man, it hurts.
T1 shoud rename themselfs in T2 for whole 13 season!

Midbeans, otherwise known as DopaSlayer_xXx69_69xXx on OCE server solo-que where he maintained rank 69 from season 6-9, is an infamous Choky fanboy who is seen at the seat closest to Choky at all Gen G games. Other than his trademark black T-Shirt which has a large red heart with Choky's face in it over his Left pectoral muscle and a large red heart with Dopa's face in it over his right pectoral muscle, he also waves a sign that says Choky 69 KDA with hearts all over it. Strange enough, he states that 69 isn't his favourite number because of the 'you know act' that some people think it means, but because 9-6=5 and 5 is the number of letters in "choky". In an interview he was asked why he loves Choky so much and all he said is "In game, of course, not in real life *ahem*" before running away Naruto-style.
After DRX beat GenG I knew Worlds was theirs.
Why is lich bane bad on Viktor here?
So basically against their comp there isn't really an opportunity to kite and auto in teamfights cause you need to space far away from the heavy engage of bard heca aatrox and the long range of azir cait

Faker played this really bad, he built crown like 3 times against a team with atleast 1 poke champ, builded stuff like lichbane and first item pick up vs Sylas was oblivion orb.... That alone was complete int and then he died sidelane a few times... I really hoped Faker would win another worlds, but with this performance he didn't deserve it.
Well if t1 played like they did on semifinals they'd win but it doesnt matter at all now.
