“They must have been selling them by bulk again, and Wily just can’t resist a volume deal. But then, if you’re someone who has to replace their minions as often as Wily does, you look for savings wherever you can.” Just incredible commentary. This is one of my favorite episodes ever.
6:30-7:22 The Beginning of the Curse Oh gods... the very first time you acknowledge the curse and THAT happens! XD The 1-up dropping when anticipated... so creepy~ The 1-ups... they will haunt you forever! ...Another close contender was the singing at the beginning, but the 1-up dropping when you anticipated it pushed things over the edge. XD
"Why is this music so very happy? It doesn't fit Dr. Wily at all. It makes the tower sound like a theme park. it doesn't make any sense" By god, RoahmMythril has a future on American Idol! Have you considered adding lyrics for any other stage's music?
Just add spikes, buzzsaws, rocket thrusters, or tasers...and presto! Gabyoalls!!! Ready to make you regret your decision to go to bed barefoot last night without your Ceratanium-Plated slippers.
Ohhh, the 1-up curse. That's a running gag between my friends and I. It started when Kit noticed a rather large number of my outtakes seemed to occur right after a 1-up appeared. As such, we jokingly claimed there was a 1-up curse, and that when 1-ups appeared, pain would soon follow.
3:25. Roahm, I found out that in Wily Wars, you can indeed prevent Returning Sniper Joe from shooting in the armor. However, the trick for doing so is completely different from the NES and it seems to not always work. To prevent it from shooting, you must be shooting at it as soon as you see it on screen. Unfortunately it only seems to work 90% of the time and not 100%. This isn't so useful for this video because in Wily Tower mode, you can slide. But on say any stage from Mega Man 2 in Wily Wars, it's good to know. However I am unsure if it's possible to run under it without the slide in Wily Wars.
Yes, I played this with the Kega Fusion emulator. It seems to save the game just fine. As for playing as Proto Man, the only games I think where you can do such are possibly the fighting games (I can't verify as I've never played them, but I THINK he's playable) and Mega Man 9, where he's available as downloadable content.
I love your singing voice Roahm. It's nice to hear you sing. Chipmunk Roahm returns, I should create a card of that. As for the one up thing, yeah, I feel it is true. I mean, I was playing clown man in Megaman 8 and I picked one up and the next thing I know I got plowed by some bombs or something strange. Made me think of you ^_^
@RoahmMythril Lemme guess... the desire Sensor means, that that, what you desire the most, will never appear when you need it, but every other thing Rapidly? (Silver Rathalos: We hunt it down 100 times for a Jewel. We got one Jewel and 40 Rathalos Plats...)
Is it just me, or does this super-happy theme park music somehow bear a resemblance to MM2's famous Wily Stage 1/2 theme? I swear, the opening beats are almost exactly the same...
It's pretty tricky for me to do, but I finally have a method of doing so, it's just a hassle. For some reason, when I speed up the clip in Movie Maker, it only speeds up the clip. The audio goes faster, but doesn't change pitch, and glitches terribly.
None have really jumped out at me as much as that one, when I first started this stage and heard the music, I just thought "This is a Wily stage theme?"
True, but when they're in conjunction with other enemies and in a tight space like that, eh, it's not something I feel like bothering with. To me the leap of faith is a bit easier. The main problem is the Genesis timing. Mega Man can still only fire three shots at a time, but they travel slower than on the NES. Thus, if you miss three shots, it takes longer before you can fire again. Pipis meanwhile get to close in quickly.
Yes, I agree, I would have much rather dealt with the leap of faith than the Pipis, hence my choice X) And good, at least I'm not the only one that thinks Gemini Man is somehow behind that boss X)
So, are you using an emulator for this game? Cuz when I tried Wily Wars on an emulator, I couldn't save. Supposedly you could play as Proto Man in a few games?
@RoahmMythril Good lord, the pain of any Monster Hunter desired item. 1000s of hours in MH2nG/Freedom Unite and I never got a Lao Shan Divine Plate/Heavenly Plate
Hey...I know I’m pretty late, but just a question...How do you have the senses of mythology’s perfect killing machine, and NOT see the bright red shiny Mystery Tank in the room when you enter...heck even after the enemies are gone, you need to be right next to it before your brain says “hey durgen, this isn’t worth it. Go back and save yourself some trouble” Honestly, you’re the friendly equivalent to the xenomorph from Alien and this happens...
Pipi's or leap of Faith.... ummm... I too would have to go with the leap of faith although I'm not too great at doing those... on any games... And the Boss... oh so Gemini Man like... first the lasers then the eggs...
1ups aren't unlucky. Since most of your attempts are failures, and 1ups don't show up every time, when they do, you're more likely than not to fail simply because you were more likely than not to fail anyway. Laws of probability.

By god, RoahmMythril has a future on American Idol!
Have you considered adding lyrics for any other stage's music?
He did for Proto Man's Castle :)
AHA HA HA HA!
Why is this music so very happy?
It doesn't fit Dr. Wi-ly at all!
It makes the tower sound like a theme park.
It doesn't make any sense.
Lol, I can play it over and over again.
No, but it fits Dr. Wawi...
"Floor patrol robots" huh? I like to call that kind of enemies "death Roombas"
Just add spikes, buzzsaws, rocket thrusters, or tasers...and presto! Gabyoalls!!! Ready to make you regret your decision to go to bed barefoot last night without your Ceratanium-Plated slippers.

No, this is Wily Wars, specifically, the Wily Tower minigame. It was released for the Genesis, though never in the US.
Nice video as always, Roahm. I didn't see ADOK BOMB coming and it had me laughing pretty hard. This was a nice way to start my morning. xD
Cool, glad you liked it ;) I couldn't resist doing the ADOK BOMB yell, and had fun with that.

I'm not quite sure what you mean? If you mean where his channel is or such, it's here on RUclips, his name here is Kittah4.
Indeed, very true. The first time I listened to it, I just thought "Wow, this music is WAY too happy."
2:24 Wily's robot factory:
*Am I a joke to you?*
Your commentary is the best! It's very Suessian! Thank you for the videos!
Watching the fight with Mach Ball, suddenly King from MM&B doesn't look so bad.
Yea I liked his singing he has rhythm.
I was feeling pretty loopy by that point and it's just what came to mind X)
I now get that each wily tower stage shows stuff from each game
ADOK BOMB!!! It's far too fun to yell that X)
I love your singing voice Roahm. It's nice to hear you sing. Chipmunk Roahm returns, I should create a card of that. As for the one up thing, yeah, I feel it is true. Basically, yes. Both phases of that fight are pretty tricky to get around.
Is it just me, or does this super-happy theme park music somehow bear a resemblance to MM2's famous Wily Stage 1/2 theme? I swear, the opening beats are almost exactly the same...
That's it exactly.
That was the extent of my run, just showing that alternate path, I didn't redo the rest of the stage after that.
The music of this stage is actually a version of the music of the first 2 Wily stages of MM2
It's pretty tricky for me to do, but I finally have a method of doing so, it's just a hassle. For some reason, when I speed up the clip in Movie Maker, it only speeds up the clip. The audio goes faster, but doesn't change pitch, and glitches terribly.
Man, that 1-Up thing is CREEPY, no?
None have really jumped out at me as much as that one, when I first started this stage and heard the music, I just thought "This is a Wily stage theme?"
when the ball enemy fires 2 gemeni lazers
for some reason i imagine geminiman and hs clone are inside of it shooting you
At least the music fits perfectly to an ending credits.
That came from Shagg's LP of Bomberman Hero ;)
These bosses sure seem original. >_>
That's quite the compliment, thank you ;)
Wily Wars has serious lag issues. It's usually a blessing, though...Yellow Demon, for example, lags badly, but it makes it a lot easier.
Honestly, it's just a joke, just a running gag between me and my friends. I don't take it seriously at all, it's just kidding around and having fun ;)
It does seem like that boss was slightly laggy. Seems like Gemini laser style attacks mean instant lag in these games or something.
True, but when they're in conjunction with other enemies and in a tight space like that, eh, it's not something I feel like bothering with. To me the leap of faith is a bit easier. The main problem is the Genesis timing. Mega Man can still only fire three shots at a time, but they travel slower than on the NES. I will be honest I RoFL'd when you said you'd chose the leap of faith over the birds.
Pipis just tend to be a bit too much of a detriment to a no damage run. It's too easy to miss the egg and suddenly have tinybirds in your face.
Yes, I agree, I would have much rather dealt with the leap of faith than the Pipis, hence my choice X) And good, at least I'm not the only one that thinks Gemini Man is somehow behind that boss X)
I always thought the music in this stage sounds like you're on the beach or something, I like it a lot though.
-Old School Video Game King-
Highly tempting, that X)
The 1-up Curse, it's like the Monster Hunter desire sensor... It knows.... It just knows..... X)
God! Now I'm gonna be hunted by that Dragon's song till I die!!!
I have a suspicion Mach Ball is Garrirry's favorite fortress boss
I think the style of Wily Tower 1 is to have Megaman I Objects/Enemies. Wily Tower 2 is with Megaman II. Wily Tower 3 is with Megaman III. Odd
I like the boss of this stage. Astro Man's lower body with eyes and guns.
So, are you using an emulator for this game? Cuz when I tried Wily Wars on an emulator, I couldn't save. Supposedly you could play as Proto Man in a few games?
@RoahmMythril Good lord, the pain of any Monster Hunter desired item. 1000s of hours in MH2nG/Freedom Unite and I never got a Lao Shan Divine Plate/Heavenly Plate
so yeah....kinda derp moment but i just realized they correspond the stages with the games....derp -o_o-
Hey...I know I’m pretty late, but just a question...How do you have the senses of mythology’s perfect killing machine, and NOT see the bright red shiny Mystery Tank in the room when you enter...heck even after the enemies are gone, you need to be right next to it before your brain says “hey durgen, this isn’t worth it. Where did the ADOK BOMB joke come from?
I would take on the Pippies than the "leap of faith".
I would gladly take the Leap of Faith.
Pipi's or leap of Faith.... ummm... I too would have to go with the leap of faith although I'm not too great at doing those... on any games...
And the Boss... oh so Gemini Man like... first the lasers then the eggs...
One question: On that run with the Pippis, did the 1-UP curse come true?
Is the boss normally this laggy, or was this just a product of uploading the vid to youtube?
Roahm and Brentalfloss should do a duet!
6:57 HAESTEGA!!!
Really? Thunder Beam? I found everything (and I mean everything) to be weak to either the Hard Knuckle or Crash Bomber.
What about Mega Man 3?
having a clergy with birds, eh?
Monster hunter Desire sensor?
I've played Monster Hunter but what is that?
Ah, thank you ;)
m445's look like glass metroids
is that mega man 3?
Theme park music eh? I guess Eggman lent Wily his music score :P
megaman 3 right?
ADOK BOMB!!!
ADOK BOMB! for the win! 5/5
1ups aren't unlucky. Since most of your attempts are failures, and 1ups don't show up every time, when they do, you're more likely than not to fail simply because you were more likely than not to fail anyway. Laws of probability.
Yeah, seriously, what is with that? ^_^;
Not if your good at sniping them, it isn't.
*alergy
Ripoff orb man moving so fast made my head hurt. Rude.
