ACTUALLY I found out that all you need is the full wukong set and all relics maxed, I tested it after I beat erlang the 3rd time and I was able to use wukong stance in other chapter before I finished the game and started another run
The stance activates in a permanent state only on mount huaguo with the full wukong 5 piece set if you got to a previous chapter area you can’t trigger it.
You don’t have to beat the game 3 times. first and second run beat the game till you get true ending. 3rd run only beat erlang and watch the secret ending. Then you can upgrade the last relic and get the wukong stance if you equip his armor and staff.
I was hoping that we would get to use other moves that the great sage was using like the thrust stance where it extends longer and the one where he stands on the staff and does multiple staff throws.

Seeing how R1 and L3 are the same button, I think it would have been much better if you could always do these light/heavy combos, but if you wanted to get those passive buffs from the special combo finishers then you used R1 to use skill points. Idk to me that would have made the combat way more addicting
Through the entire playthrough I only used default light attacks, (no varied combos) and used only smash stance with its fully charged heavy attacks. I also neved used more then the first spirit i collected, didnt upgrade any of the transformations and used the same 4 spells all the way through. Yet i wonder why this game only got to be a 8/10 for me.

Tbh imo you should have the wukong stance once you go in ng+ first time just having all 6 relics should make me have the stance instead of having to beat the game 4 times, makes no sense
The only thing I don’t like is how we have a time limit with it and we don’t just get to use when ever we want cause like I beat the game 4 time I should be able to use it when ever
They should have atleast incooparated the stance into the other armor aswell, the one hidden in the secret chest. Its supposed to be the original monkey king set, so i dont see why not give it the stance aswell. I find myself using it more than the mythical one, as the defences are absurdly higher at that point in the game.

Not good ones till you play the game three times, Smash, Light/Heavy is good for resolute strike. Pillar Light/Heavy sucks. Thrust Light/Heavy is buggy with the targeting system.

took you a while but here's the tldw for the rest: @shirakani Full moveset is below. Every Light attack is now a massive range AoE as the vid shows and the finishers are basically all 3 stances rolled into one. This is effectively a Dynasty Warriors moveset. L,H,H = Smash stance's double overhead smash L,L,H,H = Thrust Stance's long range stab, can be cancelled into another L, then H again for L,L,L,H,H L,L,L,H,H = Pillar Stance's wide AoE swing followup. Every swing of this chain is a huge AoE. L,L,L,L,H,H = Pillar Stance's perch and slam. You can hold the button to stay perched and this finisher also will make Pluck of Many sync up and smash with you. Max Charged H = Ultra long range 3 hit smash. Single most powerful smash move in the entire game. Why this move is a temporary 'Dragon Install' and not a permanent stance is coz there are still things you cannot do in it, so you may want to selectively not use it. It seems the idea is that it can be enabled for a quick burst of massive power when you need it but they don't want everyone to be using it by default once unlocked. Having it this way does not moot the other 3 stances. - the only guy I know that has a better guide yet so props to him on Black Myth: Wukong NG++ Great Sage/Wukong Stance, on RerezzedF's vid. (btw you need Great Sage Equal To Heaven Set not the great sage set, which is the non powerful version, you can't proc the wukong stance if you don't have it along with ruyi jingu bang)

I’m just gonna use a mod for it after I finish the game
Never even knew throwing your staff was even possible lol
Hope is the next ones they include staf-less stances and combos, they should also include climbing on an opponent especially the big bosses .....
My suggestion for combat improvement:
Free switching between stances.
Combo moves costing focus are now free and gives more focus when successful but costs some focus if misses or fails.
Please spread the word.
I like how these attack sequences are kinda similar to dynasty warriors
Wish it lasted longer or it was permanent
Its seems every skill make that staff longer than usual
i was saying in my head they shouldve add a wukong stance in all chapters but they already did it lol just need to beat a game many times
I feel like they’ll make this stance permanent if they make another game where wukong journeys to other places
Maybe in the dlc we become wukong fully and will get stance and voice lines. I hope so
@skweebwellington I hope we get a DLC that retells Wukongs war on the heavens, starting it with this stance and it only gets crazier from there lol
@@PBart7 the dlc is confirmed to come out by the end of January

@@Ratio429 you can already switch stances. Also what would be the point of gaining or losing focus, or just having it at all really if the heavy attacks were always free? On top of that, they are free if you get a certain skill but they are weaker without focus
the only wukong combo that i want is when he toys with the destined one with the shadow clone jutsu thing
fr when he kicks u around
I see. Wukong stance includes moves from the other three.
Oh I didn't realize that.
But the heavy attacks are pillar stance though right?
Oh wait I think I get it.
-Wukong stretches towards the opponent. *Thrust stance.*
-Wukong being on the staff. *Pillar stance*
-Wukong dropping the staff onto the enemies. *Smash stance*
Took me a moment! 😮
Our character stopped being mute when he became Sun Wukong
“haaaAAAHH!.. YEA!!!”
*PANG PANG PAAAANG!!!!!*
Love it
ACTUALLY I found out that all you need is the full wukong set and all relics maxed, I tested it after I beat erlang the 3rd time and I was able to use wukong stance in other chapter before I finished the game and started another run
After completed Chapter 1 😂 I just press any button because I miss the basic information, by the way Thanks for Videos
Amazing video as always
So, will you continue on FF XVI movesets? Or Darksiders: Genesis?
I haven’t decided on my next move yet. 🤔 I’m considering Gundam Breaker 4 before returning to the FFXVI moveset.
Chill, bro. This is fckn insane!!
I somehow got the stance without beating the game 3 times. I'm at the end of my first playthrough and I have it.
howw?
The stance activates in a permanent state only on mount huaguo with the full wukong 5 piece set if you got to a previous chapter area you can’t trigger it.
You are a silly billy
You don’t have to beat the game 3 times.
first and second run beat the game till you get true ending. 3rd run only beat erlang and watch the secret ending. Then you can upgrade the last relic and get the wukong stance if you equip his armor and staff.
THE GREAT SAGE IS BACK
I was hoping that we would get to use other moves that the great sage was using like the thrust stance where it extends longer and the one where he stands on the staff and does multiple staff throws.
Sucks when they limit stuff like this. Hopefully in the next game there is more room for combos and this type of stuff. I wish we were getting another wukong game.

Thank u so much
makasih bangggg ❤
You can get the wukong stance if you wear the full set I guess, I was able to use it I was not able to complete the game yet
Only on chapter 6 you can, but if you start a new game plus you will lose it. You can only unlock this permanently after completing the game 3 times with the secret ending.
I thought wukong stance would be the one when the staff keeps bending on hit
I get that it makes sense thematically but man I am not beating this game multiple times just to unlock this.
First comment, and thanks for the video! 😊
I wish it was a permanent stance, they make us play the game 3 times with the true ending but we can only use the stance for like a minute
yo this is just my f*kin dream i thought the Wukong stance was exclusive to the Huaguo mountain, but this is exactly what i meant to make with mods but knowing it is alredy implemented makes me so happy
Is it me or when the staff is thrown it disappears and there is no sound effects for staff thrown
Holy holy 😮 wow ❤
Don't worry about it, there a mod that u can using it whenever u want!
...mission accepted. I gotta get that.
Tbh imo you should have the wukong stance once you go in ng+ first time just having all 6 relics should make me have the stance instead of having to beat the game 4 times, makes no sense
Fr
You need the relics at full power to really be wukong
It's actually only 3 times not 4
The only thing I don’t like is how we have a time limit with it and we don’t just get to use when ever we want cause like I beat the game 4 time I should be able to use it when ever
Nice vid. Can we see a Dragon Age moveset vid at somepoint?
I wish we can use that stance whenever we want after beating the game thrice
Aw man it's Musou combo all over again
Video yang saya cari
They should have atleast incooparated the stance into the other armor aswell, the one hidden in the secret chest. Its supposed to be the original monkey king set, so i dont see why not give it the stance aswell. I find myself using it more than the mythical one, as the defences are absurdly higher at that point in the game.
Sorry, what do you mean max out all relics? Aren't relics the things we get at chapters?
After you acquire these relics, you can spend 'Talent Points' to upgrade them. Maxing out all relics means you need to beat the game with the True Ending at least 3 times to fully upgrade them."
@@sykiohoh my… 😢
They should've give us the stance in the first playtrought after we get the wukong staff for 30 sec
Then the same for the second playtrought but for 1 minute
And the same also for the third playtrought but unlimited
Hope they chance this in the future
But no hate to this Masterpiece on of the best game this decade
I have completed the story, after I respawn back in mountains. But I see the monkey stance active.. I have beaten then game for the first time..
The thing i hate the most isn’t the fact that you have to beat the game 3 times or that it’s not permanent,What i hate the most is that the copies from pluck of many don’t copy your strong moves when using the stance
3 times is a little excessive. Should be after 1st time or 2nd time. Unless 3rd play through is even more different
There is 3 endings, so 3 playthrough is good
@@kizunarin2795 what’s the 3rd ending?
3 times to get all 18 relics.
It is on NG+ 3 the game difficulty increases some bosses I was clearing the first two times started actually kicking my ass
@@ZelBellz yea I just finished ng++ except for wukong fight and damn some of the bosses were harder for sure. But as long s as I could hit a clone super attack on them it wasn’t too bad.
This is why I got the impression that this staff had random results in the last fight. Are these requirements to get the combos explained anywhere in the game?
My suggestion for combat improvement:

It’s a war crime for it to not just be permanent when you look at the trouble to even get it. Such a frustrating outcome man.
I wish you would unlock this after your first playthrough, because by the time I beat it 3 times, I have everything and don't need to fight anymore, so it's pretty much useless
Tnk ❤
I love this stance sbd I’m trying to kill stone monkey I need a new ps5 pad though which is coming Wednesday since it’s not working
bro black myth wukong have 3 endings, cannon by Game Sciene
Do I have to do all of the secret bosses and treasure hunter 3 times again??? Or can I just fight erlang
The only i hate about this game is you have to complete it 3 fukin times to get this stance to play 4th time.
and people say this game doesnt have combos
Not good ones till you play the game three times, Smash, Light/Heavy is good for resolute strike. Pillar Light/Heavy sucks. Thrust Light/Heavy is buggy with the targeting system.
How many people do you think are going to beat the game 3 times just to get 3 combos that are all just press light a certain number of times and then heavy. For all intents and purposes the game barely has what you would consider combos.
@@frizen9328 but its still does have combos so the argument still stands
@@michaelsimarmata5880 Sure but that's like saying Super Mario Bro's has combat because you can attack and defeat enemies. It barely counts lol
@@frizen9328 have you even seen the combos???
those aren't just "barely combos" those are full set combos that you can use.
sure you have to beat the game 3x, but for people that loves the game(there's a lot that do) pretty sure some of them wouldn't mind spending their time to do so.
or maybe they wanna play it for a longer period of time like in 2 or 4 years and they would still have new content in-game WITHOUT buying DLCs or micro-transactions or whatever.
But if you don't like it then its your choice
Game Science still have almost 20 million players to count on.
Does any of the stance skill tree affect the damage of the varied combos of this staff?
took you a while but here's the tldw for the rest:
@shirakani
Full moveset is below. Every Light attack is now a massive range AoE as the vid shows and the finishers are basically all 3 stances rolled into one. This is effectively a Dynasty Warriors moveset.
L,H,H = Smash stance's double overhead smash
L,L,H,H = Thrust Stance's long range stab, can be cancelled into another L, then H again for L,L,L,H,H
L,L,L,H,H = Pillar Stance's wide AoE swing followup.
Having it this way does not moot the other 3 stances.

the only guy I know that has a better guide yet so props to him on Black Myth: Wukong NG++ Great Sage/Wukong Stance, on RerezzedF's vid.
(btw you need Great Sage Equal To Heaven Set not the great sage set, which is the non powerful version, you can't proc the wukong stance if you don't have it along with ruyi jingu bang)
Do you mean the set bonus of five pieces or do you get an upgraded version of the same set?
My suggestion for combat improvement:
Free switching between stances.

for the wukong stance do i need to do the true ending 3 times or the 3rd one i have to do the true ending
3 times for 3 playthrough
Game turn into Dynasty Warrior when you unlock this stance 😝
oh shit,this is a treasure
So it's basically a Musou combo lol. Also does the combos activate special effects by other weapons? Like Erlang's sword coming out when doing combo 2.
Im on my first playthrough and you only have to have all the armor equipped and then you're stuck on wukong stance
Yeah for chapter 6, but it's not permanent. You can only unlock it permanently if you do the requirement.
The boy became the legend
I got Wukong stance first playthrough with full set and staff but disappeared after I fast traveled lol
That is because it is available in Mount Huaguo. To get it outside of that you have to do the grind.
