You could also fold the band to double the height to remove the pin.

Got mine yesterday - broke 3 of the needles (the one that pushes the pins out) so not really impressed. I think the problem is that there's no way of holding the strap straight in the brace). I have one left it may or may not work on the next watch, but when that breaks (as it surely will) I'll have to throw the whole thing away.

So this is no better than trying by hand with a pushpin. I got a pin part way out, then it was stuck. These youtube videos show just pulling the pin all the way out with your fingers. But even with vise grip pliers mine wouldn't come out. I tapped it back in, thinking of extracting it the opposite direction. That did not work either. I think they perfect these things so that it cannot be done as Do-It-Yourself. Then you take it and have to pay someone too much to do it.

Were you expecting a jeweler to come with this less than $5 USD Pin Tool? LOL😉 🐩 even Thunder, my Wounded Warrior Service Dog knew better than that. It works--->$5 worth, I got mine to try to secure several Titanium band pins on a new, direct from the manufacture's Titanium chronograph Atomic Clock Radio setting MSRP $895 watch. That failed to work so I had a local jeweler/benchman use his laser to "solder" all the pins in place...it only took him 5 minutes & there was no charge.

@@partofthegame2691 If the MSRP was $895, that means he probably paid like $50 for it, because capitalism.

Buy a real watch band tool set kit, with all the necessary tools to make your job easier, like I did..
